"You're awfully kind. This world would be a better place if there were more like you."
Since he stepped into this establishment, it was the first time his lips curved into a genuine smile. Camil nodded, finding it awfully kind for the man to actually put in the effort to communicate. Usually, people would brush it off after he failed to understand something they say. There were some who tried to communicate, though they, too, had given up in the end. However, it didn't faze him in the least. Yes, he was hurt. He felt alone and isolated from the rest of the world but still, he managed to live through his university life. His lecturers were there to guide him and things didn't seem so bad. Camil felt the vibration in Casey's throat as he spoke, and he tried his best to pronounce his name while he placed his hand against his own throat. "Cas- Cassy-" he frowned, unable to grasp the pronounciation, until he had spelled it out for Camil, only then he was able to properly pronounce his name. "Case-.. Casey? Casey." he mouthed the words a couple of times, searching for any signs of agreement or acknowledgement upon Casey's face. He wondered if he had gotten his name right. He certainly hoped he did.
His features brighten up and he nodded, he supposed the musical scores can wait for now. He still felt rather awkward socializing with someone else other than his lecturers. His gaze drifted towards the book as Casey spoke of it. It appears the man played the piano, too. Camil chuckled and nodded "Yes, I do. I play for a living." he answered. A composer at that. "It's something very enjoyable and it's the only way I'm able to express myself. Through piano."

~✰`★ ~ ☄Casey felt his cheeks heat up when Camil told him the world would be better with more people like him. He smiled and waved him off a little. "Sounds to me like you're the kind on here." He said a teasing smile crawling into his lips. He placed his elbows on the table and watched as Camil tried to pronounce his name. Casey didn't think it was to hard of a name to pronounce but due to the man's problem hearing it was understandable. And once Camil put his fingers to his own throat Case understood why he had done it to him, and frankly felt a little silly for the whole show he put on a moment ago. From there it didn't take long for Camil to get it right, Case smiled at him and gave him a thumbs up ."There you go." He said, signing the same thing trying to sound encouraging but not like he was babying him. There was a moment of silence as Camil registered what Casey had asked him, just a split moment and in that moment Casey searched for Pedri. It was an odd habit he had gotten into when things feel wrong. Normally in situations like this the ghost would give some snark reply or tell him to leave but right now there was nothing. The same wall built between them. It caused his thoughts to echo back to him instead of being taken in by someone else. it felt... cold. Camil chuckled and casey looked up at him, a small smile tugging at his lips the moment he fully focused on the male. "For a living?" Casey exclaimed, whistling a little. "I kind of just taught myself for fun. I think I had a real reason once upon a time ago but." He shrugged. "I lost it and now just play when I'm bored." He explained to the man, singing in tune with his speech, which he made sure to keep nice and paced. "I'm glad you found something you enjoy though, that's always great." Casey gave a gentle smile and guested towards the door with his tattooed hand. "Anyway's Cam, is there anywhere particular you'd like to go?"☄ ~ ★`✰

"Is that so?"
Was he kind? He doesn't know. Camil didn't think so. He was hostile towards people and if Casey hadn't tried to understand what sort of situation he was in, perhaps he wouldn't have been so friendly with him to start with. He smiled with downcast eyes.
His smile widened, upon noticing the thumb Casey held up. His irises glistened and a small victory laugh escaped his lips. "Nice.. it's a nice name. Casey." He was one of the rare people who had introduced themselves. Normally, he wouldn't even know their names. He wasn't able to involve himself in other activities. Parties whatsoever. He went once but apparently, he came off 'cocky' towards others.
Being deaf, the only way he's able to tell other people's emotions was by their facial expressions and Casey's was fairly amusing. "I'm a composer." he answered, pointing towards one of the paperback he had picked up earlier which consists of several music scores he had composed. Casey's statement was frowned upon and he wondered what had cost him his motivation to play. "I wish I could hear you play but that seems impossible. Such a shame." he answered, hurt flashing across his features, disappearing as quickly as it had appeared. Camil noticed the tattoo he had on his hand, his eyes narrowed to get a better view. He can't see colours and it certainly made it harder for him to tell what exactly Casey's tattoo is. "A galaxy." He smiled. He, too, had a tattoo of a dragon that spiralled up his left arm but there was no particular meaning to it. He reached out and held the book in his hands, fingers gently caressing the book cover as he gave Casey's questions a couple of thoughts.
"The beach, perhaps? Is it beautiful? Perhaps something will be able to inspire me there."

~✰`★ ~ ☄To Camil first question Casey nodded a little, giving a soft smile. Cam seemed nice enough, Casey say nothing there to cause resentment towards the man. But then again they had only just meet but still he doubted it. Casey watched as Camil smile grew and eyes glistened. He took in every detail he could, eating it up. They way his eyes crinkled up in the corner just a little, the small exposure of teeth due to a wide smile. And when the compliment came Case couldn't help but blush a little. His name meant so much to him. Hand picked by him and he was always scared it was to feminine. But his name meant everything. His name meant his growth, his name meant his family, now lost to him, his name helped define him so when talked about its a weird thing for him. He'd get butterflies in his stomach and try to move the subject. But with this compliment he just smiled, and put forth a pathetic attempt to hide it away in his palm.
He had a book with his own music. Casey walked around the counter and picked up the book. "Huh." He muttered to himself, turning around and looking at Cam. He frowned a little, watching the split second of pain on the man's face. "Well, then I guess we'll have to find a way, to get you to hear it I mean." He said, walking back behind the counter and checking out the books of Camils music for himself. He flashed the male a grin. For a brief moment his tattoo was mentioned. He looked down at his hand. "I'm kind of a giant space nerd." He said, looking back up at Cam so the male could understand what he said. He briefly gestured towards the other tattoo on his left arm.
Camil answered with the beach and Casey gave him a smile. He had been to the beach a while ago and wasn't to big a fan of it but as of now night had fallen and he could probably show Cam all of the constellations he knew. He smiled to himself and shook his head, walking over to the door, book in hand. IT opened it up for Cam. "After you." He said and signed☄ ~ ★`✰

Camil gently browsed through the pages, his hand gently caressing the smooth paper. To most, the notes may seem jumbled up and appear to be a total mess but for him, it was different. He felt emotions pulsing into his veins, the way the notes portrayed the feelings of the composer. The man might not be able to hear the music but he can feel it. The dynamics, the accents. Everything. His smile disappeared and he wondered. It is possible to for him to hear music though it has to be played in an extremely loud manner. He doubted anyone would be able to stand such loud music.
"I have severe to profound hearing loss, very low hearing in my left ear and none in my right. I have hearing aids but even so, I can't hear much. I can hear from amplified recordings, though but it's not as enjoyable." his frown deepened. He often wondered why he was born with such disability, what he had done to deserve this. "I can hear the vibrations of the beats and rhythm if I plug earphones into the electrical piano, though." he added up, casting another glance at the tattooed arm Casey showed him. His eyes narrowed in attempt to decrease the amount of light entering his eyes, soon, his irises turned elliptical, allowing him to see the solar system tattoo Casey had. Achromatopsia is a very rare condition and Camil often had to wear dark glasses under normal light conditions. However, that was only if he was outdoors or hanging around humans. He'd prefer not to scare anyone or cause any uproar with his elliptical irises. "It sounds amazing. The galaxy." he asked, as he walked out the door, curious regarding the space now that it was brought up.
The breeze felt cool against his skin as it blew and his irises finally dilated after stepping out into the night. It was late and there was hardly anyone in sight. He slowly walked, occasionally looking up at the sky but instead of the navy dark blue, what he saw was total darkness. The yellow shade of streetlights appeared in a blinding shade of white. Everything would appear white to him if his eyes were to be exposed to bright light. He shifted his gaze away and it took a couple of seconds to recover from his temporary blindness. "So, what is this 'galaxy' of yours like? I bet it has a beautiful shade of colour." asked the man, with a voice that sounded rather lonely. They walked and it didn't take long until the beach came into sight. He slowly stepped onto the soft sand, watching the waves crash onto the shore. He noticed soft lights reflecting off the surface of the ocean and he found it beautiful, like eyes twinkling in the dark. He inhaled, taking in the comforting smell of the sea water. "What do the waves of the ocean sound like when it crashes? What does it sound like when you're underneath? I'm curious. So, awfully, curious." he quietly murmured under his breath. His question wasn't exactly directed towards Casey but rather, to himself. He, was questioning his own imagination, trying to imagine but nothing came to mind and all that answered him, was silence.

He went on for the usual routine, parking his bicycle securely and then unlocking the store, slipping the keys into his bag once he was done with the locks. After pushing the front door to get inside, he turned on the lights and started tidying up the place. While he was certain that not much people would go outside because of the bad weather, he could hope that there would be a few dropping by to read something while waiting for the storm to pass.
It had turned out that there was a slight change of plan when meeting up at the park, so the schedule was set to tomorrow. It was truly inconvinent but better late than never. At least he would be given ample time to arrange his private library desk for the copies that he wold be receiving on that day.

As Yume walked towards the book store, she questioned if she left too early. As much as the storm annoyed her, she couldn't complain much about the winds. It was like they were telling her good morning. If she did arrive too early then she would have to wait until they opened up, which didn't please her. She finished her books, she needed something else to read.
She could see the lights were on in the store. This made her feel slightly welcomed. As she scanned the store, she noticed a blond worker tidying up the store. "Nice weather we're having." She said in a sarcastic tone.

Benjamin was so focused on the task that the mage didn't even notice a customer coming that early until a female voice reached his ears. Azure hues inspected the newcomer's figure with such casual curiosity. Normally, he would get annoyed, but seeing that the girl had no intention of causing any harm, he simply put the rag down, the cloth for wiping the table, and inspected the outside view through the window.
"Indeed, it's a nice weather to just read and relax," he spoke in agreement. "Having something to look for at this moment?"

Yume strolled through the store. The male didn't seem disturbed, by her sarcasm. She had to remind herself of the "customer is always right" and " service with a smile policy." He did seem rather busy but at least he was kind enough to assist her." I'm looking for a book with thrills and excitement. To be swept away you could say. What do you suggest?" She said with a smug look on her face. He was right it was a nice day to read a book.

He may have seemed to be going along with the sarcastic remark from the girl, but at least setting up the mood even with the harsh weather was much better. When the girl asked him about book suggestions, he sauntered towards her, his tone casual and polite. After all, she may be new to the place and it would be best to narrow down the choices to assist in picking up the perfect title. His knowledge may be broad, but it didn't mean that he knew every title that existed on the planet.
"Pick your genre just to be specific. Action? Adventure? Horror? Romance? It's best to pick your favorite poison. If these were potion bottles, they would be arranged on specific shelves, and I can be the guide to the right spot." He had to make sure that the service would be done right without wasting precious reading time for the girl.
When the male began to walk to her, she could tell he knew how to play her game. Either that or he was just a good worker. From atmosphere to tone she could tell he had experience with customers like her. He seemed to have a lot of knowledge about books too. Although she found the analogy about potions to be odd. " Fantasy, please" She said in a more polite tone. It was one of her favorite genres. She wasn't familiar with the store either. A good book would help with the drabby weather as well.

At the mention of the fantasy genre, he chuckled. Fantasy was actually one of his favorite genres, and he wouldn't mind talking about faeries, magicians and dragons. They were his imaginary friends, the saviors from boredom especially during his rough childhood. Though he was now living a better life thanks to his adoptive parents as well as his new adventure in Soleil City, he had kept those imageries in his private library.
"Eragon, Harry Potter or the tale about Peculiar Children? Those are my recommendations. If those won't pique your interest, I'll let you take your pick as I'll guide you to the section." He just couldn't wait to show her more about his favorite things that made his imaginative world alive with vivacity.
Yume smiled in amusement as she followed Benjamin. She also took note about the other sections. At least some of the titles she passed by gave hints in what they were about. " I hate to disappoint you but I kind of read all of those. Although my favorite series would be "Lord of the Rings" It's quite a classic. What's your favorite book?" She asked with interest.
