connections are good. it helps to get your character going. i don't care what kind of connections they are.
sorry, mobs, and crap...game has an auto attack feature, but i have to actually play it when following people.

sadly i may need. there isn't a page to look up characters by owner here. this guild needs funds i think. it would be easier for you to do it than to scroll through the list by grade.

Alrighty. I'll list their grades too so you can look them up if one catches your eye. Too bad you don't use firefox. I used Edit -> Find all the time for stuff like that.
I"ve got...
Mel- [9th Grade] You already know him.
Suriel- [9th Grade] unverified murderer. Could have met your guy in the foster care system. When he's on the meds, he's out of it and quiet and dopey. As the meds wear off, becomes increasingly paranoid and violent. He's in the same grade as your guy so you'll probably meet in class regardless. Have fun with that.
Jack- [11th Grade] From Santa Cruz in California. Brash, loud, likes screwing people people or upsetting them, possessive. At the school on a sponsorship from a politician since he couldn't actually afford it himself. Very large family. Currently dating Kaito, Robin's ex.
Dorian- [12th Grade] Singer usually under the stage name Nine of Diamonds for the tattoos around his neck. Probably one of my nicest characters, though he's definitely used to being in charge. Aizen's ex, currently working between lingering feelings for Aizen and a serious new feelings for Aiden.
Robin- [12th Grade] Manipulator with serious control issues and a bit of a narcissist personality. He can't stand to even think someone is looking down on him and is perfectly willing to use dirty tricks to get whatever he wants.
Nick- One of the two campus ghosts. Minor pranks against students, potentially lethal ones against teachers since he blames a teacher for the death of him and his brother. A decent guy aside from the massive revenge/guilt complex. And oddly, dating Dom, a student teacher. Or trying to anyway.
Elias- [Teacher] An ex-computer hacker with a no-nonsense attitude in the classroom and a deadpanned sense of humor. Also campus's unofficial tech support.
Did I mention I have a lot of characters? >.> Wow, it's weird seeing them all laid out like this.

Cool. How do you think your guy would've gotten along with him? I'm guessing it would've been between the murder of his original adoptive parents and when he was adopted for the second time.
It would be within Suriel's character if Ren had found him with a dead animal or even killing one if you want to have him be aware of some of Suriel's more disturbing traits.
Hey, if you want to say you know more than one, I'd be all for it.

yeah. he'd likely know. he would have attributed his behavior to loss of some sort and excused it and talked with him anyways, though he would avoid him during "those moods". during foster care, Ren didn't have a fancy mp3 player, or a fancy phone, or a bike. he would have occupied the silence by talking to whoever is nearby...he also tends to become panicked by things easily after periods of prolonged silence...fight or flight kicks in, and there is a short period of flight...followed by a very violent fight instinct, that tends to go badly...there is a high likely hood that something had happened in the past with both of them being a little off it.
Ren accepts everything, and goes with the flow when there is music. i guess that's the switch for now. other things kick in later, but right now he has nothing but himself and sound, and his emotions don't fully manifest. fear, apathy, and rage.

Did you post as Dorian in the other one? And should you know I think I made the to start fighting-ish in Dorain's room. Don't worry, if you want us to leave they'll be out in just one post.

So maybe they're sort-of friends when Suriel's on meds since Ren is smart enough to avoid him when he's off them.
What if they did get in a fight at some point but an adult pulled them apart? If it was when they were both young, say ten or eleven, they would have been easy to separate. Maybe it was a point where Suriel was reacting badly to meds (I've done that) and got crazy-annoyed by the Ren's constant talking and hit him.
It would've worn off by the next time they met.
