HELLENIC RECONS ARE NEOPAGANS LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.
My VERY favourite( rolleyes yeah, you know the one) member of the hellenic community has decided that all neopagans that worship the greek gods only do so in name because they don't understand history and worship nature and *insert neopagan generalizations here* and he's written a lovely little article about it..
Generalizations like this make my eyes twitch.
Because YOUR form of reconstruction is the only possible way that one can approach the gods. rolleyes Any kind of wiggle room means your just an eclectic neopagan after all, even if you are still very well within the bounds of orthopraxy.

He said that the biggest point of contention within hellenismos is who can and cannot identify as such, apparantly all arguments he sees start with this. Thats because he's the one that starts the freaking arguments ¬.¬ If he were to step outside his own sphere of influence he'd probrably see a different story. I bought his book and on the back it says 'written by the foremost author of hellenismos' LOZ TIM, NOBODY LIKES YOU.
