Meh... I don't donate, actually...
The only web site I pay for is LiveJournal, and really, it's because I like the perks of a paid account -- more options for customizing my LJ, extra userpics, file storage, an email address, text message support, and best of all, faster servers. XD

it's not a decision for everyone but i always try. i usually donate 10 for me and 10 for my niece. i may buy a few more when i get paid on friday. don't know yet. razz

Well, KC, if you think of the fact that Gaia is a FREE service, then it's understandable why some people see no reason for donating. Because it's advertised as a free service, there shouldn't be any need for donating. I would like to donate though, and one day I'm sure I will.

I know that, what I mean though is some people are like why would you ever give money to a free service? I dont think of it as paying for the service, I think of it as a tip. Like i used to have some friends who worked for a smoothie shop. They gave me free smoothies but I still left them a tip.

Hehe, that reminds me of the time I left my friends brother a $1 tip even though all I had was a glass of water while the others ate.
Anyways, I'm out for the next 20-30 minutes. I have to pick up my sister. I'll be back though. Later.

to answer your question KC, no i don't think anyone will miss the morgue. i very rarely look at it. instead of moving threads just let them run and fall off the page when they're time has come.

If no one reads it anymore no point in having it around. is this an ocd thing? i never delete threads in my guild. and i'm the resurrector in the warcraft guild. i just started playing and i just joined the guild so i'll page through old threads and revive them with my comments. it's kinda helpful.

most of these are just general chatter though. If theres some importan gaia info I could see it sticking around, photo threads and such. But most of these dont really much of anything, and Im pretty sure most of the new people coming in dont really look at them either.
