Whoever sent me that gift tonight, if it was someone in here, it made me nearly cry. This guild and a select few other people are the only ones who know about my condition here on Gaia. So yeah. I'm very appreciative of the sentiment behind it.

I haven't been spending much time online, so I just now saw this. I am very sorry you are going through this. In a way I can relate because according to the hospital here, my mom has Barrett's, which is incurable and the precursor to esophageal cancer. I still think they didn't run the tests right (this hospital is known for screwing up) and they are wrong, but Ma can't get a second opinion anywhere else because even with medicare, she's can't afford co-pays or anything else (she can't even afford to buy the supplemental insurance that goes with medicare). I sincerely hope you will have a better outcome with everything than what my mom will eventually. I don't say it out loud, but it's hard to sit around and wait for something to progress to the point of no return, knowing you can't do anything to stop it. Years, months, the amount of time doesn't matter. All that matters is you know you'll lose someone close to you in a terrible way. Sorry to get on a rant there. I do wish you all the luck in the world with fighting this.

So seems they might be taking down Towns 1 sometime, such as shame as that's where a lot of us would go often for meetings way back.It's also where a lot of us met for the first time so feels like it's the end of an era if/when they do end it.

*waves* Yeah, I know that I haven't been online much my own self. Just dipping in, getting the Daily Chance stuff, cleaning the invo out, and... whatever happens. I've been cooking and getting out of my shell regarding singing and all of that crap. Let's never talk about the horrid cold snap that happened in December ever again, thank you. Let's also not talk about the freeway that flooded and had three crashes last week. Nope. Uh-uh. Um... after catching up and stuff... I can only express a few direct words since I spent about like fifteen minutes bawling my eyes out (and retriggering my allergies again, but I don't care, my allergies can go kiss my round butt). You. See, you get in there and you kick that cancer's a**. I'll still be around rooting for you and also forgetting my sentences like the good ol' ditz that you still remember. Heh.
