I grab the knockers and knock them against the door thrice. I had really hoped my maid was in, I wasn't sure if my character had the house key on her yet. "This is my estate, by the way. I plan to stock up on supplies for our journey. If those people managed to kill off an entire city, they are clearly too dangerous to ignore." I say to them. I look at Willow. "Who is your dad? I didn't see any of the others here with a scythe, and I'm not aware of any other people that passed us by..." I ask tilting my head to the side.

Everyone:
The doors slowly open. Beyond, it is dark. No one, not even the anthros or -mimi's, can see through the darkness. You can all tell that some unnatural effect, perhaps magic, is causing this.

"Death... so your the daughter of divinity too..." I say to Willow. I look on to the dark abyss before me, wonder what kind of effect could cause this. I summon my blades to try and offer some form of light, to try and see if it would help. I tenatively step in a little. At this point, I was really hoping some character memories would pop up, since if even my highly sensitive eye's couldn't pierce thsi darkness, my only chance of navigation would be from memory. I closed my eyes, and tried to see if perhaps an appeal to my goddess could help us out here. I come here to provide my allies and fellow travellers with food and shelter before our ardous trip ahead. Could you pierce this unnatural darkness with you divine starlight to chart our path?

"And I'd gladly take you on any time to show you just how incapable you are when you let your ego get in the way. Pride is one thing, but being an arrogant, egotistical, pig-headed b***h is WAY on the other end of the spectrum. And I am not in that end of the spectrum like you are. I am in the pride range. But I have modesty too. And I care about people unlike you who just use others to get what you want. And then when they don't seem to be doing what you want, you leave and go on ahead because you think that just because you're the daughter of Death means that you either think that you are strong enough to kill all, or you think that your daddy will always be there to protect his little girl. Wake up to reality. You aren't any better than us because your divine. I'm not divine and I don't have parents. Mine were killed in cold blood right in front of me, both in-game and real life. And I've managed on my own because I had to, and I found others so I wasn't alone. And, in real life, I'm an assassin as well. So drop your holier-than-thou attitude because it sickens. It sickens me to the point where I am having to resist slaughtering you right here and now." Throughout my whole rant, I speak in a tone that is seemingly very light-hearted.

Your blades provide slightly more light than normal, but it only gives you a radius of about two feet around them of light that will pierce the darkness.

"This will have to do..." I mutter under my breath. This is some pretty strong magic... it's pretty concerning... I start to move cautiously, shifting around the blades to try and get as best a view as possible. I start to wonder if my maid knew anything. It then hits me that I forgot to read the instruction manual and figure out her name... I had the I.D. lenses at least.

I follow Layla into the Manor. Seeing how impossibly dark it is inside, I try casting a light/fire spell to illuminate the area as much as possible.

As Mazurn walked up to Apollo, he looked at the feeble amount of light she was giving off compared to the rest of the place. "You sure it aint always like this? Or that your power system is out?"

I look over to Willow. "I'm afraid not. It's concerning to me..." I say, trying to get a good feel for whats around me. "Well, if we stick together, and Apollo's torch works, we should be fine. I laugh a bit at Mazurn's comment. "Oh, of all the in-game money that was probably put in this game, it probablystill doesn't have anything better then candles for lighting!" I say in a lighthearted tone. So I now have to keep two people on my watch list... Great...

Willow & Mazurn:
Please pay attention to the others' genders if you are going to refer to them that way. Willow, Layla, Leina, Nyx, and Branwen are female; Apollo and Mazurn are male.
Apollo:
Your fire works decently: it provides about six feet of sight in every direction.
Mazurn:
This game is set in this world's equivalent of medieval times; power systems do not exist yet. Everything is fire/torches/candles.
Everyone:
If inter-player fights/arguments continue, the instigator(s) will be forcibly removed from the game. The victims will not be affected.
Leina & Nyx & Branwen:
You need to enter the manor before I can move the game along. If you do not post in the next couple days, I will be forced to assume that you have resigned from the RP, and I will remove you accordingly.
