To be fair, Teg didn't exactly have the foresight to provide her with an invitation and she was never told about it, since she was in meat bags when the invitations were given.
Best she could hope for is that Baptistian would let her pass so Griffin could identify her as one of his party.

Maybe Paparazzi can make people seem familiar even if they've never met?
Another possibility is Bertuccio thinks Kai is Bell, or at least sees they're related.
Telling the difference between the two is like telling the difference between the graph of a sine function from a cosine function. Only real difference is the phase constant..... er, I mean eyes.
