Jason squinted underneath his helmet as he looked over the Gotham skyline. There were about a thousand scenarios he wanted to think were a better option than contacting the Bat-Family. That being said, he still would have a fighting-side-by-side instinct should they team up for another limited run.

"Alright, alright. The first we should contact is Nightwing. He'll be the most cooperative. Mostly cause I know he wanted out of Batman's shadow as much as I did."
He turned back to Firestar. "But there is no way I'm going to enjoy this."
After his all-but-childish statement, he smirked underneath his helmet. He knew for a fact that he was going to enjoy this.

 Firestar nodded and walked closer to Red Hood, "Alright. Let's do this. No matter what happens, I have your back." Angelica flashed Jason a brilliant smile and slid an arm around her new lover and partner, "I think this might end up being fun... kinda. These I.O. guys deserve whatever's dished out to them."

Skye gave Daniel a skeptical look while driving, "Obviously you've never seen May in action. Heck, SHIELD has faced HYDRA, and they're a world-wide terrorist organization. What is so darn powerful about these 'Owls'? I know what you told Coulson about it, but ... I do kinda need to know, if we're being stalked. And what would be there interest in AIM equipment?"

After Dimensional Walker exited that van, Skye herself slipped on her fingerless gloves -- get ready for action, "If we have company, please let me know. I can crack skulls as good as the next person, but... I'll hit from range, while you mix it up. K?"

"Let me put it to you this way. The Talons are so adept that even someone who has MASTERED all known forms of Martial Arts, Detective Reasoning, Stealth, Escape Artistry, AND is at the very Pique of Human fitness, Otherwise known as BATMAN, has a hard time taking them down." He explained as his SpiderSense began blaring again. Skye huffed in annoyance; however, she did key up her power at the ready. These guys may be a well trained as ninjas, but they would still be human. While she might not be as comfortable using her power vibration power directly on people, these were assassins. Skye conjured up a mental image of Grant Ward. However... She did still have one query unanswered from Daniel, "Okay, that still does quite answer one question: What does the Court of Owls want with AIM equipment?"

"Imagine the Illuminati, now imagine them with AIM Technology. Basically you've just got your answer." Suddenly, he dodged an attack that could barely be seen coming. And enemies in Owl Hoods began attacking, proving they weren't human with their speed, endurance, and training. Though Daniel was able to hold his own, just barely. "Go to the GCPD, tell them to turn on the Bat-Signal, and that you barely managed to escape from Joker, Riddler, and Bane, with the help of your friend. Wait for someone from the Bat-Family to show up. Then tell them what's going on." After giving Skye instructions, Daniel raced towards the shadows to battle the Talons on a more even ground, running with the Bat-Family had given him an edge when fighting in darkness. gaia_nitemareleft _______________________________________________________________ gaia_nitemareright

"Up here you two." He shouted from atop the roof, currently he couldn't move Skye any further because she was unconscious and didn't want to press his luck any further because she might be hurt and they were now out of harms way.[color "Time to go boom." [Enter Firestar and Agent Skye] Hearing Arantera's voice, Firestar flies directly toward where she heard their allies. Experience in following Spider-Man allows the fiery mutant to easily locate the new spider superhuman. Landing soft near Arantera and the Shield agent, Angelica softly spoke after the explosion dies down, "Red Hood and I seem alright. What about your friend?"

"I believe so, it doesn't seem anything is broken, she's just unconscious for now." He spoke, his green orbs were near mesmerizing in the glow of a Gotham City Night, as if he'd belonged there his whole life, and a gentle breeze played with his dusty brown hair before he continued. "My name is Daniel, you've already met Skye. If I'm right then you being Firestar means you're the mutant Angelica. However, I've never actually encountered a Red Hood before, though by how you conduct yourself and your fighting style points to the Bat-Family. Actually, to be honest, you remind me quite a lot of Jason. Are you by any chance related to him in some way?"  [Enter Red Hood from Court of Owls] Red Hood adjusted his jacket as Firestar and Arantera conversed over the unconscious Skye. He listened as Daniel took off his mask and introduced himself. His eyes widened slightly when he completely pegged the both of their identities. Jason figured Daniel must know something about this new reality they were in. "It's a long story."Jason spoke up as he took his helmet off, revealing that he was, in fact, the Jason Todd. "However, I think we have more important issues to talk about.." Jason crossed his arms and glanced to Firestar, issuing a subtle can-we-trust-them type of look, hoping that she would want to discuss this later in private. He looked back to Daniel. "..Like why Angel and I had to be recruited by your unconscious friend here to save your purple a** from the Court. What does the Court want out of you anyway?"
