While most Royal Icing is done in that blonde color you have there or sometimes the white shade that's usually done when the item doesn't have the rose gold going on. Once you bring that into the mix then your options are to either match that with the hair, go Oxford, or try to use the odd shade of brown going on in some versions. Since you brought in the rose gold for the accents I'd say use it for the hair. You have a dominate amount of Oxford going on and that would tie the scheme together nicely on that item making the hair and accents match. However, if the poll goes for the blonde like Kags used in her Miss Detective recolor that would look good too.

I'm more likely to lean on the natural hair colors or the rose gold.... just because it's a "light" version and natural hair colors are more usable. I did think of Kag's item actually with the Pearl. ^^ Plus she likes her high ponytail and this is a high bun, but you also like high buns...

It's good to get as much input as possible. Maybe you can get the input from the other well known Royal Icing fans in the GCD as well. I know of at least two others who fawn over the combo besides Kags and me.

I guess since work has me tired as hell on my days off and hardly anyone seems to be very active in the guild, I'm going to start selling off a bunch of stuff. No sense in having a ton of things if my time online has been chopped down to nubbins. I'm looking to cut down to my Gaia OC items plus my favorite fairy/mermaid/mage type items, and everything else will go.Check my store to see if there's anything you want to buy, or ask and see if I have something you want that I may be willing to sell.
o.o Lawdy lawdy it's been a long time since I've posted. What's up gang? On my end...gosh so much has happened since I last posted here. My bad knee has gotten worse and I've crippled my back in a work accident. I've also had several mental problems come to a head and I'm on a vast daily regimen of medicines...no bueno mi amigos. Oh I've also met a girl gotten married and got an apartment since I last posted too. All and all not very productive as always since my last post.
Well, my mom got the news she's been expecting but at the same time not wanting to hear for several years now. My aunt can no longer swallow anything so they're going to let nature take its course and let her die. She's spent the last seventeen years of her life dealing with dementia and it looks like it's finally going to take her.

Hey guys, it looks like we need to get new header art for our guild. I don't know if it was Shuniya or Arc who posted our original guild headers, but the art isn't showing up anymore. Either that or Photobucket is just borked. It may be time to get some new art anyhow. What would embody the guild today?
