TatteredAngel Largely agreed, though I gotta watch the local news so I know what's going on here. I pretty much get to choose between two flavors: The clueless newscasters and the overdramatic newscasters. If you don't find out about it just wandering around in your area, is the news really that important...? ninja

Fiddlers Green TatteredAngel Largely agreed, though I gotta watch the local news so I know what's going on here. I pretty much get to choose between two flavors: The clueless newscasters and the overdramatic newscasters. If you don't find out about it just wandering around in your area, is the news really that important...? ninja Not all of it. But there's plenty of news that's quite important to me. Not having a ton of politically active friends, the local news is one way I hear about important state or city legislature that's going on. It also behooves me to watch the news more when fire season starts, because I also haven't found word of mouth to be a terribly accurate source all the time for what's currently on fire, and I feel better when I know, rather than smelling smoke on the air and wondering if we're getting smoke from further away or whether the local bosque is on fire. I don't do enough wandering around the city to just pick up on everything, and despite the failings of news media, I still like to know what's going on in my city and my state.

patch99329 I take it by the double post you're getting those annoying errors too? Yes. I even tried deleting one of them, and it still gave me an error. If I cannot get to it, could a mod please delete one of them please?
