FOR FERELDEEEN!

I'm on my second play through of that game.

Ah. I just finished my second play through on Sunday. Right now, I'm making a shield and sword warrior with berserker and reaver. It's awesome.
I actually never finished my first play through. By creating a character with a focus on close quarters, I really unbalanced my party. I couldn't make it through the last push to the arch demon. My second play through was much better. I even managed to take down the high dragon from the urn of sacred ashes quest. My second character is an elf chick who is, of course, an archer. Much more balanced this time around.

Ah. I usually just glitch to level up. I know that's not really good, but I want to play the game, not spend my time grinding or getting my kills stolen by my "teammates". I think it makes the game funner, because you get to actually experience the game to its fullest.

And I never had a problem with unbalanced teams. I usually had the dog, Alistair, and Morrigan. I sometimes switched off the dog with Shale.

@Energy: *Eats the popcorn* Mmm...popcorny.

If you just play the game everyone levels up. All the characters in your party share XP and so do the ones in camp. That's why if you go back to came and open up your party menu under the stats tab, a good number of characters will have leveled up every time you come back. They designed it that way because enemies don't respawn at a high rate, or very much at all, and it would be bad if you had to keep a character in your party the whole game for them to be strong enough that you can do their special quests. The game actually rebalances each area depending on what level you are when you get there. All enemies are placed at a level that is challenging, but not impossible for your character to over come. That's what's so brilliant about a game. It's a seemingly linear game, but you don't have to play it any particular order. No area is off limits. In all reality you could go straight from the Loatharing to Denirim and then to Orzamarh without going to Red Cliff first, like the story line suggests. You can even go after Loghain in Denirim first if you want to.

YES!!! It's one of the best games I've ever played, certainly the most addicting. Best ever is Uncharted 2, that game is quite literally a perfect gaming experience. Dragon Age isn't quite as open world as I would have liked, and the level cap and no respawning thing kinda irks me. Though it is a brilliant way to make explore everything you possibly can in order to level up. *deep breath* AND HIYA!!! How ya been?
