Edmond hadn't reacted fast enough when the Joker brought up his gun and shot Rosie. He had not researched the man and was unaware of his rather loose mental status. Letting him hold the gun was a mistake Edmond wouldn't make twice. Now Edmond loosed the arrow, sending it through the aim towards the Joker's hand. Unlike the Joker, Edmond was the archer equivalent to Deadshot. So his aim was spot on, now it was a matter of wether or not the Joker noticed the arrow coming. Arrows were slower than bullets, and this one had nothing special.

The clown laughed and said to Rosie, "The best thing for you to do is just lay there and bleed out." He scooped up Gossamer, draping her over one shoulder, and added in a tone that held no humor at all, just evil, "Because if you live, and I see you again, I will not hesitate to make you very, very dead. Got it?"
He had been so wrapped up in taunting Rosie, though, that he hadn't noticed the arrow coming for him. It hit his hand, and he yelled out in pain, which then strangely turned into raucous laughter. As he laughed maniacally, he reached around Gossamer to break the fletching off with his good hand, and then pulled the rest out, making sure he pulled it by the side with the arrowhead so that it didn't tear up his hand more. He never stopped laughing as he did all of this, nor did he stop when he looked up and saw the figure that sent it his way.
He yelled at him, "You want to kill the girl yourself? Take her! But this one is mine!" he added as he gestured to Gossamer with the hand that was leaking blood from the wound.
(Just shoot The Count. He would never willingly let anyone take a hostage.)
The Count nocked and took aim with another arrow, this time aiming for the Clown King of Crime's neck. He moved slowly because he didn't have to rush, the Joker didn't take aim at him and he seemed overall unthreatening. The crazy one's always did. Edmond spoke in a voice a lot deeper than his usual voice "You know I can't let you do that." The archer pulled back on the bowstring slightly more as he adjusted his aim to the center of the Joker's chest.

The Ace of Knaves shifted Gossamer's unconscious form to block the line of sight for as much of himself as possible, essentially using her as a human shield. He said to the masked man, "You'd let the little girl bleed out and die, just to keep me from taking this woman?" He whistled, with his smile becoming almost playful. "That's... actually impressive. Not even my dear Batsy is that cold, and he can make a blizzard seem like beach weather." The whole while he was talking, he was waving the revolver around like it was some toy. Then with a sigh, the Joker said, "Well, as much as I'd like to stay and chat, this lady won't stay out forever, so..."
As his voice started to trail off, his gun quickly lined up with the man's own torso, and the clown pulled the trigger.
Jason thought to himself as the two people in the Focus kept screaming. He squinted his eyes in a bit of confusion when the area he was in started to have a bit more light. He heard some woman's voice calling him a "dead fool" or something? He looked up and saw some redheaded woman who looked to be on fire, floating above the alley he was in. Slowly, a few words came out of his mouth:
"What the f--"
He was stopped short though, as he felt the Focus switch from Park to Reverse, and realized that the two civilians were done dealing with the masked vigilante on their car hood. Immediately, He back flipped off of the hood as they sped backwards out of the alley way. He looked back up at the burning redhead dressed in yellow.
"What's wrong, no smart-a** remarks, like usual?"
Red Hood began using the acrobatic skills he learned as Batman's protege to quickly make his way back up to the building he originally jumped off of, in order to have a more decent conversation with the woman. He was still a little angry at the "dead fool" thing, but he still spoke calmly.
"Weren't you ever taught that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all?" He was just about to command her to leave when he stopped himself; maybe she has some answers to his questions.
"Who are you, and what do you want?"

The Count regarded the Joker with a slight precaution when he saw him waving around the revolver "Trust me, you will bleed out long before the girl does." Edmond said as Joker took aim. Edmond didn't have a clear shot at the clowns chest anymore and he didn't have time to adjust his shot. Then the Count felt a sudden pain spread out across his abdomen and his body jolted backwards causing him to drop the arrow he had nocked. Before he was aware of what happened Edmond was on his back protected by the roof's ledge from any other gunshots. He was very conscious just dizzy. The bullet hadn't gone through the kevlar lining on his suit but he had still taken the impact from the shot and that was what had him reeling.
Rosie still lay on the cold ground in a growing pool of her own blood. She had enough sense about her now to try and stop the bleeding, but wasn't very good at it. Gossamer had never had the chance or reason to teach her how to stop the bleeding of anything more serious than a cut. The little girl was half sitting up on the ground, just enough for her hands to reach her leg. She was using the bottom of her dress as a makeshift rag, and was using her hands to try and clamp the dress down on her open wound. She did her best to try and stop the bleeding as tears streamed down her cheeks.
She wanted to tell whoever it was on the roof to just shoot the clown. To take him down before he had a chance to escape with Gossamer. To just... just do something because she couldn't. But the Joker shot before she had a chance to get the words to even form.
Her eyes darted up to the roof and she watched as the man fell back and vanish from sight. Her eyes widened as she watched the man go down, and not get backup. A few more tears fell down her cheeks as she looked back down and at the Joker again.

Iris was alone. Again. She was sitting on one of the taller buildings in the city watching the movement below her. Humans, annoying things. Always so ignorant and stupid. Why did they get to live happily while they destroy other's happiness?
The mutant's eyes flashed red for a moment and she shook her head. Now was no time to revert to that. She have been doing well for the most part on not going full out psycho. It never made her feel guilty when she did but she disliked having no memory of what happened. That was why she refrained from thinking about the past or any really dark and pessimistic thoughts.
The female yawned standing up and her black dragon wings stretched out feeling the cool wind that rushed past. A small flight would cure this little depression that was clawing at her. Draegon stepped off the ledge and hurtled towards the ground before her wings opened and caught the air. The air rushed past pressing against her costume and mask. She made her way around buildings and watched the traffic pass down below her. The mercenary paused pulling up short at a scene below. She thought there was a child on the ground possibly bleeding but the height made it difficult. So she came down a little lower her golden eyes flickering over the participants.
"HAHAHAHAHA!!! Tootles!" the Joker yelled at the man, not really caring if the shot had killed him or not. A little part of him wondered, but he had no time to really give it too much thought, what with Gossamer unconscious over his arm, and the Rosie duplicate still in sight.
He took one more look at the girl, and said to her as he readjusted Gossamer back over his shoulder properly, "You just became more useful alive. If he lived, keep him busy trying to save your life." He started walking away, and said to her, "Buh-bye! Heheheheheheheheheheh..."

ROSIE
"W-wait..." Rosie tried to yell, but the word didn't come out any louder than it normally would have. Probably couldn't have even heard her over the sound of his own laughing, but she had to try. She'd tried to move as he had turned away, but found it impossible to do so.
"W-where are you taking her? Are you going... are you going to..." she couldn't even finish her question. "Are you going to kill her" just wasn't something she could bring herself to say for some reason.
The Joker didn't hear her over the sound of his own laughter, though to be fair, even if he hadn't been laughing, he still probably wouldn't have heard her over the sound of his own ego. He turned into the alley that he emerged from, and walked up to his purple convertible.
Pulling a set of keys from his pocket, he opened the trunk, tossed her inside of it, and closed it up. The clown walked to the driver's side, jumped over the door and into the seat, and started the car.
As he pulled out of the alley and started driving away, he started singing. "He's got the whole world in his hands, he's got the whole wide world in his hand, he's got the whole world in his hands, he's got the whole world in his hands... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

The Count rolled over slightly and pulled an arrow out of his quiver. Once it was nocked he sat up and aimed around for anything to shoot at but the Joker had apparently gone when he was recovering. Rosie seemed to be alive for the moment so Edmond put the arrow away and slid down off the roof of the building onto the ground where he stumbled over to a wall for support. He could feel the area where he had been hit swelling and it hurt a lot. Once he had his bearing Edmond made his way along the wall towards Rosie. It was at that point that he became far less friendly. Once again he drew an arrow and aimed it, only this time it was at the young girl "Which one are you? Answer quickly, your loosing to much blood."
When Red Hood acrobatically maneuvered up the side the building like some sort of ninja, Firestar floated sideways a bit to prevent a possible attack. However, Angelica Jones was getting the idea that this man wasn't Wade Wilson. The fiery mutant reinforced her flame-based shield, but she did wait to see what this man was going to do -- if he attacked she was ready though.
After the questions posed, Jason could make out a slight shift in Firestar's eyebrow just under her mask, "Okay... Obviously, you're not Deadpool.... thank God.. Anyway, I'm called Firestar -- an Avenger who's here making patrols on behalf of Gotham. Now, would you mind telling me who you are and why you are scaring the bejebus out of the local populace?"

Rosie, unfortunately was paying no attention at all to the Count. Her attention was focused completely and entirely on Joker as he, and his car, sped down the road and out of her line of sight. She stared down the street long after it was gone, tears rolling down her cheek.
She tried to move again, but the pain in her leg prevented her from doing anything more than hold both hands over her wound. The pain drew her attention away just enough to look away from the street and down at her leg. The sight of the pool of blood she was lying in only made the tears flow more. There wasn't anything more she could do to help herself, and it looked as though her dress wasn't holding back the blood anymore. It was soaked through.
She tried to call out for help, but all that came out was a cracked whisper of a sound. She tried again, and got the same thing. She was only partially aware that her leg was growing numb. And that it was getting colder out for some reason.
