Knowing Gaia's sense of humor it's more than likely a reference to the song lyrics from the Smash Mouth song All StarOh, I think I remember getting that pm but I forgot to actually read it before closing the tab.. sweatdrop

Oh lord, I have the weirdest luck with vending machines. At the bus terminal I tried to get a single bag of chips, but it gets stuck. Then it tries to vend another to unstick it. Doesn't work. It tries again, and all three are stuck. rofl
Eventually the maintenance folks unstuck the chips, and I got some freebies. Gave one bag to some other folks so I wouldn't feel so weird about it. lol
(One time I had a vending machine play chiptunes instead of giving me my drink)

Speaking of the RP, I updated my profile with a picture for Cassian (tattoos are hard... =n=). I missed the bus I was planning to catch, but it wasn't a big deal Starting: Whatever you like. It's nighttime. The job thing is a part time thing with varying schedules (which boils down to 'whenever'), because it's supposed to be just enough for the gang to cover the expense of housing them. Cassian could be asleep, working on whatever, wandering the halls or wherever else, talking to other people, etc. It's helpful to interact with another character. Twi is at Gambino Island, Luciano is in a bed somewhere (hinting at the hotel, but could be anywhere), and Nariana (should the name stay) is on one of the floors; whether or not it's the empty buffer, the gang's rooms, or the regular rooms is up to her. Picture: Yep, tattoos are hard. On another note, that's one hell of a hairstyle he's got there lol

Well I made some new TekTek's for the redesign so this was the hair I was referencing. (but we don't have a place to put tekteks for varrying outfits atm so they're just sitting on my hard drive lol)
Starting: Ok, sounds good. I'll think something up later tonight probably.

Well I think the main reason for the last thread turning into dead links was the avatar system migration that TekTek did which required everyone to go back and re-save the avatar in their new system. If everyone saved the image of their avatars and uploaded it to photobucket or something we shouldn't have that problem again.
Either way, I think having either a separate thread or just a spoiler within the profile could work for basic outfit tekteks. Just to get a decent mental image for different situations and so we don't have to describe outfit changes in the rp unless its relevant to the story or a drastic style change.

The dollar feed-thing (don't know what it's called) could only use one or two tones, but it was sitting there for a good minute or two chirping at me. The tekteks are meant for drastic changes (Maerua's iconic outfit vs her casual dress) or anything that would take up too much to describe. Description is used for minor things (Sabe wears a purple knit sweater over his usual attire) and visually simple outfits (swimsuits, pajamas, shirt and jeans, etc)

I think ____ would be the director of the hotel's Golden Club. xD Deal with the fancy rich people because, you know, she's rich. I'd say general manager, but that seems like too much.
OMG I can't decide on a name. I really like Layla, but Layla Lincoln is a lot of L's...

I just realized that I, yet again, managed to completely ******** up and switch the brothers' eye colors in the portraits I drew them.... emotion_facepalm
So I updated their profiles with the new images which now actually match the description I wrote.
Still working on an opening post, got busy around the end of the week.
