With every second, Ryn pushed down harder against the barrier with all his strength. There was no emotion in his eyes, as he felt the blade pierce into his back.

"You took everything.."

Ryn brought the white blade up, and slashed downwards, hitting the barrier.

"My friends.."

The Black Katana rose up, and slashed down, hitting the barrier once again with all his strength.

"My home.."

The attacks continued on as Ryn continued to speak.

"Now Ari for the last time..."

Ryn began to slash at the barrier in a constant onslaught, trying to shatter the barrier as swiftly as possible.. He was going to kill the one whom had started this all.

The vampire glared up at Ryn as each blow caused the stone under his feet to crack and give way. With a burst of energy, he forced Ryn away and took up a position back at the throne.
"Know this, Kuromaru. While you still live, I shall take everything from you. This is only the beginning. Soon there will be no land untouched by my darkness. Why not end your suffering and die without a struggle?"
He formed a blade in his hand, slashing upwards at the opponent.

As an unfamiliar pain shot through his heart, Katsuto paused. Ryn's strike hit, causing a deep searing gash to the vampire's side. Blood flowed freely from the wound as a darkness dispersed from his heart and vanished into the air. The chains circling in the room ceased their revolutions and fell limply to the floor. The Lord grimaced, falling to a knee and clutching his heart. As his eyes opened once more, it was obvious that a great change had taken place. Gone was the dark glare of a cold ruler to be replaced with the familiar eyes of the former Lord. He looked around the room's expanse as he took in all that had occurred.
"Wh...What have I done?"
He looked down at the bloodstained hands.
"What have I become?"
His mind flashed with images of the recent events, yet they came to him as through the eyes of another.
"The Vernal Equinox! Nyx was-"
He tried to stand before sinking back down to a kneeling position and giving a cry of pain.

From her seat in the rafters, Nyx jumped down to land gracefully on the stone floor. Her feet made no sound as she stepped forward to examine the scene. Satisfied with what she saw, she applauded slowly.
"What a great performance. Death, bloodshed, terrible pain, I couldn't have asked for much more."

Glaring up at Nyx, the full extent of the events made themselves clearly known to Katsuto.
"...so, I am undone..."
He bowed his head as Ryn's blade drew near.

To have killed by his own hands, the Lord was unwilling to allow another untimely demise for his sake. He wrapped his arms around Rosalie, pulling her close as the pool of blood at his side rippled and morphed to form a hardened sphere surrounding them.
"I will not allow you to end your life for the sake of one so unworthy."
He looked up to glare at Ryn through the barrier.
"And most certainly not to one such as this."

"It wasn't him! He wasn't in control of himself! If you want vengeance then kill that little girl who loves to watch you suffer so much!" Rosalie screamed back at Ryn.
She held Katsu close to her. "I love you Katsu. You are beyond worthy. My life is yours and has been since the day we met." She look at him stubbornly, "I will not let you leave me alone again. If you go, I go." Even as she said the words, her chin trembled slightly. She didn't want to lose him again, her hands clung to his jacket in a desperate attempt to keep him next to her.
