Gossamer gave her a small smile and patted her daughter on the head. "I thought it was probably something like that. She can't stand to find homeless animals on the street." she said.

"I don't blame her. If I wasn't living essentially out of my suitcase all the time, I'd do the same thing," Julie said. That wasn't exactly true, but saying that she stayed at a hotel all the time while driving such a nice car might make her sound like a hooker.

Gossamer's smile grew slightly at that. She knew the feeling of living out of a suitcase. Well, whatever she could carry most of the time. She had an on-off housing arrangement depending on who she was working for and how long she could keep a house. She had a nice little run down place now... but as soon as she did what she needed to here in Gotham, she was serious about moving away.
She once again couldn't find Joker. The last she had come close was when she helped the Bat break into his last hide out. She'd... seen how nicely Rosie's room was there. If Joker hadn't tried to find her, or get her attention, then it was safe to say he had no intention of harming the girl.
So... once she found all of the "upgraded" Rosie duplicates out and about here... and found just WHERE they had come from... there was no point in her staying here in Gotham.
"Understandable." she said simply.

Julianne looked back at the car, remembering Tommy was still there. She looked back at Rosie's mom, and said, "Well, it was nice meeting you... Um, I don't think I ever got your name."

Gossamer paused a moment, then smiled and extended her hand to shake. "It's Jane. And thank you again for keeping an eye on my daughter. Hard to say how far she would have strayed for a stray."

Julianne extended her hand and shook it. "It was no trouble. Not for me, anyways. I kinda shanghaied the guy when I realized Rosie was wandering around. I should get him back to his place." She opened her door, then turned back to Jane, and said, "Maybe we'll run into each other again before you move away, hopefully under... friendlier circumstances." There was the slightest hint of suggestion in her voice, far too little for a little girl to catch, but MAYBE enough for Jane.

Jane arched a brow at the woman just ever so slightly. The man in the passenger seat did the same as they both looked at Julianne. "Um... perhaps we will." she replied. This wasn't friendly? This was about as friendly as she could be. Unless she was meaning the OTHER kind of friendly...
The little girl just blinked and looked up at her mother.

Julianne, acting like nothing had happened at all, sat down in her car, and said, "I'll let you two go on first, so you can get off the road. See you around!"
She then closed the door, and looked at Tommy. Noting his raised eyebrow, she simply asked in a mock innocent tone, "What?"

Gossamer nodded, then patted Rosie on the shoulder to get her to follow. It didn't take much to get the little one to follow close to her mother this time. Gossmaer made sure that they were off of the road and back onto the sidewalk. She paused a moment to look back to make sure the woman was leaving.
Tommy blinked once, then shook his head. "Nothing, nothing at all." he replied with a small cough. Just his imagination. Had to just be his imagination.

"I don't know... I'm still debating on if it should have caught my attention o not." Tommy replied, a small grin on his face. He wasn't just going to assume that the woman meant anything by... that. But if she did then he was definately making a point to hang around her more often.

"I can answer that for you: it definitely should have," Julie said, turning the car towards Tommy's home. She decided this was the best time to just drop the bomb, instead of waiting until they get back, just in case Rebecca's waiting for them, "A quick run-down of things you should know about me: I like women more than I like men, and I really like men. Also, monogamy does not exist in my world, so don't hesitate to meet other people, because I sure won't. Hell, if you enjoy them enough, give me a call. I might join in."

Tommy choked. He didn't have anything to choke on, but he choked. He could honestly say that was the first time he had EVER heard a woman say that. Any of that. Let alone one that had expressed interest in him.
"I... d.... I... I honestly don't know what to say to that." he replied, his face a fair shade of red.
Meanwhile, the red headed woman and child watched as the car drove out of sight. Gossamer waited another few moments before turning her attention back to Rosie. Again... she didn't look very pleased. "I thought we agreed that you were to be hunting for your duplicates... not imitating Vice's little habits."
"It wasn't like I was going to steal it or anything." the little one said with a pout. Mostly because it was true... the thing probably had a car alarm and she couldn't phase through it like Vice could. "And I was just looking. Usually they leave me alone when I use the excuse."
"Yes, well luckily they weren't concerned enough to call the police on me for neglect."
Rosie scoffed. "Neglect? You won't let me out of your sight now. Where were you anyway?"
"Practicing..." Gossamer said, looking down at the hand she had used to shake Julianne's.
".... oh. That." Rosie replied. Transformation spell or something like that. Explains the hair and clothing she supposed.

Julie pulled into another alley, just large enough for her car, and shut it off. "Then how about you skip talking about it, and just do something about it?" she said to him, bringing her face within inches of his.

Tommy blinked once, then grinned. "That... I think I can do." he replied, then closed the distance between them for a kiss.
"Mmhm." Gossamer replied. "Now lets go. I haven't seen any more of you running around this area, and you haven't sensed any while we were out. Safe to say you're not hiding about here anywhere. Think we've almost covered all of Gotham. We'll check the other bit tomorrow." she said, then bent down and picked the little one up to carry her. "For now, let's call it a night. You need to get some sleep."
"I'm not even tired..." Rosie whined.
"I can fix that." Goss said simply before heading down the street once more.
