"Really? Maybe you could give me a ride so I can see if the poor things are gonna need therapy from such excitement." he said with a grin. A girl with good looks and a car like that? He was gonna insist on hanging around Becca's friends more often.

"Alone in a car with you?" Julianne got very close to him, so that their noses were almost touching, and said, "We'd be in the back seat too long to pick Rebecca back up." She then quickly turned back around, and let herself out of the door, a large smile over her face; she was pretty sure she'd had the desired effect on him.

Tommy's face turned a few shades of red after Juliann had turned around and headed out the door. DEFINATELY making a point to spend more time with this girl. Shaking his head clear, he hurried to the door. Well, as quickly as he could.
Meanwhile, the little redhead was still muddling about around the shiny red car. Trying to figure out how to get in without setting off any car alarms. If it had any car alarms.

As Julianne walked to her car, she noticed the little girl. "Hey, whatcha doin'?" she asked her.

The little one froze a moment, then peeked up over the other side of the car. "...uh... nothin." she replied innocently. Her red eyes blinking back at the blonde woman.

Julianne smiled knowingly. "When a child says they're doing nothing, they're invariably trying to do something sneaky. Be honest." She really hoped that the girl wasn't going to stick around for long; she liked children, but she had REALLY been looking forward to some time with just Tommy.

The little girl looked at her for another moment, then looked down at the ground and began shifting her shoe into the ground. ".... I just wanted to look at the pretty car. We don't have a pretty car like this..."

"Where are your parents, anyways, little lady?" Julianne asked, starting to resign herself to not getting that time with just Tommy. Damn.

Rosie blinked. Proooobably best not to tell the woman where her "parents" were right now. "At home still." she replied simply, looking past her and at the apartment complex she had come out of. Looks like the buildings next to it were apartments as well. "I just came out to play outside for a bit."

"Maybe you should head back," Julianne said, now wondering where Tommy had gotten to, "Wouldn't want anything to happen to you, sweetie."

When the Count reached his firm again he unlocked the door and walked inside, making sure to leave the door unlocked. He proceeded to ascend the stairway up to the top floor where his office was located. The eighteen floors worth of stairs didn't bother him because he knew that with each one he was closer to getting the answers he wanted. The first thing Edmond did when he reached his office was store the eye patch and contact with the rest of his costume parts. Then he set his phone down on his chair and began documenting what he had learned from Cobblepot verbally. Despite the feeling of safety in his office Edmond was not at ease. Memories of the underground lab plagued him. He hadn't seen or heard from Rosie since then and the uncertainty bothered him. However he didn't doubt that once she had what she needed she just left, which was sensible. Someone like her would be smart to get away from Gotham as quickly as possible. It was around this thought that the lawyer's phone buzzed and he checked the text from Emily saying she had left the Lounge. Edmond didn't reply. He just set it down and returned to documenting what he now knew. He would be in his office unless something urgent showed up elsewhere.

The little girl glanced back at her and blinked innocently. "Okay. I think it's about my bedtime anyway..." she replied. Then she carefully moved out from around the car and began heading down the sidewalk away from Julianne. Taking a careful glance back occasionally to see if the woman was watching to see where she was going or not.
Tommy, meanwhile, was standing in the doorway of the apartment complex. He watched as the child left, and tried to place if he'd ever seen her around before. He didn't recognize the girl, and he couldn't think of any one around who had red hair like that.

Julianne watched the little girl walk a little ways, then looked back at Rebecca's apartment. Spotting Tommy, she waved him over. There was some concern on her face. She was starting to regret just dismissing the girl, but if Tommy recognized her, she'd feel a little less bad.

"So, who was that?" Tommy asked as he walked down towards Julianne. She'd been speaking with the child, so she might have at least some idea. Surely someone wasn't letting their kid walk around alone on Gotham streets.

Julianne cursed in her head, Son of a...
What actually came out of her mouth was, "I was really hoping you would know. She said she was from the building next to yours." Then, a horrible thought crossed her mind, with a matching expression crossing her face. "I just let a little girl walk alone in Gotham City. I'm horrible."
