"...Kerana, you can go find Heather. I think she likes you better, anyway."

"Um.. okay.." she watched Deora and Larry head off on their mission. She wasn't sure it was the right thing to do. According to the announcements he was the rightful Head of Security after all.

Though Heather seemed to like Kerana more than Deora. She couldn't help but feel so nervous when she is around her. Ever since this new transformation she had been very wary. Kerana had read up on dragon lore and how harsh their tempers are. She looked around where Heather's scent lead her. She started opening the doors to the training rooms around here.

Larry waved to Kerana as she left to complete her task. He then looked down at Deora and laughed in embarrassment, "Any idea where that Richards guy is? I still get lost around here."

Damien shook his head. "I don't know if I completely agree with that. If their actions threaten the existence of not only metahumans, but the unawakened populace as well, then the burden of responsibility is shared by all who desire peace."

He stopped in midstep as the strange sensation rose again. He looked toward the source's general direction and made a face that suggested he was considering options.

Christian shook his head and muttered, "Yeah... most people generally don't desire peace. With a lack of peace it is easier to rake in astronomical individual profits." He paused and glanced over at Damien as Damien considered his options about the unease he kept feeling. Christian leaned against the wall as he waited, figuring Damien would provide information on whatever conclusion he came up with soon enough.

"Well, maybe that's a risk I'm willing to take." Liv replied and wrapped her arms around Heather's waist, locking her in place. Now that Heather had nowhere to go, Liv kissed her.

"Alright. well maybe you can make your own shadows with your clothes or something." Theonis said to Trinity and gave her a kiss. To be honest he wasn't sure how she felt about that with her teacher right there but he really didn't care about that." Just be careful alright?"

Cassandra started to walk again with the boys. She just had a thought and couldn't ignore it. She knew there were other children. Other young children. There was a kindergarten somewhere. If she was there, she could protect those kids as well.

"These phones have a map function." Deora said, tapping away at the device as she started walking. The walk became more of an angry march as the desired route appeared on the screen. "I'm guess the head of security would be at the main security office, so that's where we'll start."

Deora was very loyal to family, which, along with being the main reason getting kicked out of her home had hurt so much, was also why she felt so defensive over Trinity. The woman had saved her, and gave her a home. That had earned her Deora's loyalty. She was one of a few the violet-haired girl considered her new familia, and so, Deora would stop at nothing to defend her.

Teshou nodded to the young couple. "Very well. Theonis and I will head back to Valhalla and find the light meta while you speak with the beast."

"A word of warning, Trinity. The light prison is impenetrable to shadow walkers. You'll have to enter the chamber through it's only entrance. Once you are in, there will be no shadows to help you. The demon is weakened, but do not let that fool you. It is deadly even in it's current state."

Trinity became rather numb to the life threatening situation. Heh... what else is new... perhaps, for once it can deliver... I'm no use to anyone... not to Valhalla ...
and not to Gidget... she only emphasized that once she wiped our friendship for the past 15 years... and on top of that... she can never know... for it would only bring her pain... the missing past would be sealed with me...

Her thoughts were interrupted by Theonis' lips pressed against her. It felt unexpected especially with her sensei observing. She pushed him away, such behavior in front of her mentor is dishonorable. She kneeled before Teshou, "Sorry for our action..." She heard Theonis' concern then nodded and said, "Alright..." to satisfy Theonis. It was a good thing he couldn't read her mind.

After they left she took a deep breath and saw through shadow the beast before her. She looked to her necklace, the one that was passed down generations from her ancestor, she made sure it was in plane sight she decided to bring her glaive with her. It helped make her look like her ancestor, every bit would help convince the beast so, plus if things got bad and she changed her mind about her previous train of thought, it could come in handy. Here goes nothing. she drops down in front of the demon. Unfortunately the shadow in her trench coat was too small for her to use. No way back out. "Greetings... Do you know who I am?"

The guards around the cage were shocked to see Trinity suddenly show up.
"You've got to be kidding right?"
"Well this makes the job easier."
"ATTACK HER KILL HER NOW!"

Gidget listened carefully before shaking her head. "These powers aren't going anywhere. It's not a phase our bodies go through like puberty. If that were true I would have lo..."

Then it suddenly sinks in. "A woman? What was her name?"

Ako gave a small sigh as he muttered; "Guess I'll never be normal again, then."

At Gidget's question, his expression became one of worried thought. Eyebrows pulled together, his mouth turned down in a frown. "I... I can't really remember. Liz? Liv?" He growled in frustration at his own slowed brain, wishing that whatever extra electricity he had would go back to improving his mental function. "Do either of those sound familiar? I'm bad with names right now."

"LIV!" she opened the door as she saw their lips already locked. After going through so many doors and apologizing profusely for opening on the wrong people. She couldn't help but notice that Liv didn't push away from Heather yet. "Liv? is everything alright? Heather?" this quickly turned into awkward territory to her, she had no idea how to ask if Liv was okay with Heather's feelings toward her. "I... uh... is... um... ?". Her tail curled up wanting to tie up in a knot.

Damien seldom blinked as he considered everything that had been discussed, as well as the current situation at hand. This world was wrong, but the actions of the creature known as Legion were too extreme.

This morning he was content to help people ascend and continue living. Now he felt a need to do more.

Without looking at, or addressing, anyone in particular he proclaimed, "They need help. I'm going."

Larry had difficulty keeping up with Deora at first. Not so much because he couldn't increase his pace to keep with her's, but because he still had some trouble controlling his speed. To compensate he stuck with taking long and careful strides.

Larry stayed behind her as they approached the main security office. He had never been here before and didn't quite know what to expect in the way of resistance.

This morning he was content to help people ascend and continue living. Now he felt a need to do more.

Without looking at, or addressing, anyone in particular he proclaimed, "They need help. I'm going."

"And what exactly are you going to do to help?" Christian demanded from Damien with a sigh. He glanced at Cassandra, he doubted she would just let Damien walk into danger like he was proposing. Then again, she seemed distracted by other thoughts that weren't exactly making her happy. Sometimes he was irritated because he could feel the fluctuations in emotions but he wasn't able to know why the change in emotions unless directly told. And he couldn't do much more than anyone else to make it better. It was a frustrating ability to say the least. It was a generally useless secondary power.

"Whatever," sighed Christian, "I'm not particularly fond of the idea of risking my neck for something like this. I'm claiming the 'child' card in this. Besides, there is my mother who has practically the same ability as me: people could always use.. track her down if you need that sort of help."

Teshoumaru simply stood back as they had their moment. Once Trinity had left he simply took hold of Theonis' arm and whispered with a grin, "Break her heart and you wont wake up the next day."

The negative world around them bled and twisted as they went from one location to another. Teshoumaru was not pleased with the lack of entry to Valhalla. Something was wrong, but he had planned for such an event.

The bathroom in his dorm was always set to be accessible by shadow. That's where he brought Theonis and himself back into the world.

He went directly to the mini fridge and the bottles of water that were inside. The ninja carefully nursed the bottle as he asked Theonis, "What happened here? Why are there so few shadows in the facility?"

The mass of wisps and tendrils produced a pair of murderous eyes. They squinted at first, pained by the exposure to light from all directions. It didn't take long for it to identify a potential meal. Oh had it hadn't fed in so long.

Accompanied by the cries of those consumed by the shadow realm, the demon lashed out at Trinity with incomparable speed. But before they seized it's prey they stopped mere inches from her. The eyes considered the cattle for a moment before withdrawing it's appendages and addressing the small thing.

It's voice, to anyone else, sounded like the voice of Hell itself. To Trinity, or any other shadow walker, it was the voice of a woman. Not Freya's voice, but similar.

"Before me stands the descendant of the first shadow walker. You bring memories both fond and foul. I would like very much to feast on your essence. Yet I have been intrigued by your courage to kneel before me and place yourself in an inescapable situation."

"Stand, descendant of Trinity. Stand, and say your piece while I have the mercy to entertain your bravery."

Gidget's lips tightened and teeth ground at the mention of that woman's name. She had been so distracted as of late that she had forgotten the priority Gadget had placed on finding out if Liv had any ties to Daedalus.

More concerning to Gidget though was Ako's change in demeanor. "What's wrong? You seem drained, and not just in the way of powers. Did something happen?"

Heather had been basking the Liv's embrace. She had returned the hold and the kiss in kind. And the taste, there were no words to describe the taste and sensation of Liv's lips against hers. It was everything she had dreamed of and more.

When Kerana came bursting in it took a while for Heather to even register that the little fox girl was there. She reluctantly broke from Liv's kiss and looked over the blonde's shoulder toward Kerana. With an ecstatic grin she purred, "Everything is alright, Kay. What's with that look? Have you never seen this sort of thing before?"

Theonis raised a brow at Trinity's change of behavior. Shameful act? What the? No need to act like that. What's so shameful about it? Whatever.

"Not planning to. I just hope I don't have to fight you for her hand when the times comes." Theo joked casually. Marriage was the last thing on his mind right now but situations like this reminded him that life as a Meta isn't safe. But perhaps that's because he often chooses to jump into danger.

He looked around the room they reappeared in. A bathroom? Teshoumaru's question did intrigue him. "Hmmm I'm not sure. Lemme check." Theo pulled out his phone and checked his email. What he read really did surprise him. "It seems that the new head of Valhalla accused Trinity of treason and made sure she wouldn't be able to enter so easily. Only on controlled spots I suppose. I see that didn't work as well though." He explained while talking to himself at the end."Not sure if they are also on the lookout for me. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they are. I think the new guy is dirty."

Cassandra immediately looked at Damian." What? No! You're not!" She spoke firmly. She was not going to let Damian wonder off right now. Way too dangerous. But he had Alexavier's power so he could force her to let him go. Then she'd have to go after him to make sure nothing happened. Christian! She had to take him with her because he really was just a child. But Damian could be walking towards danger and that would mean Christian would also be in danger if she followed Damian. Cassandra was been torn apart from the inside.

Liv was glad she responded to Heather's advances. She was a good kisser and seemed to be lost in that kiss. Kerana hesitant voice broke the kiss however. Liv didn't mind that much but it would have been nice to have held on to that a little longer. She turned around, one arm still around Heather's waist. Liv answered with a smile. " Like she said. Everything is fine foxy. Were you...worried or something?"

The being had said it's farewell to the old man and let him continue his day the way he saw fit. Now, he was still in thought. Deeply even. If man would be equal would that solve conflict? Would taking away all potential weapons solve conflict? Would an iron fist or gentle touch stop conflict? So many options. But it was okay. The being had time. Time held no value to him. It was a flow that stopped for nothing. However...new information, new perspectives could be the answer to the being's question. Or it could increase his struggle.
