Sebastian slowly let his hand off of her. He frowned, but continued cutting at the ropes until she was finally free. He swiftly turned, still on his knees, cutting the elf that was stalking behind him at the shins. The elf yelped and fell to the floor. Sebastian then stabbed him in the jugular. He stood, waving for Selia to fight with him. "There's about two dozen more of them now." he estimated. Sebastian jumped off the stage and onto the shoulders of an elf, stabbing at his throat. The elf fell to the ground, and as he did Sebastian jumped off and onto the next one. He glimpsed back at Selia, making sure she was okay. Boothe fought with the dark elven man. The man had striking features; sharp face, dark shaggy hair, perfect face structure, and he wore thin silver framed glasses. Valik's vision was becoming blurred. The wounds would only temporarily be severe, at least with medical attention. Valik went to Valerie's side, aiding her in battle, his protective instincts taking over.

Selia drew an arrow from her quiver and notched it quickly, letting an arrow fly into an elves neck. A quick splash of blood was all that followed the loud thump of the man falling to the ground. It was seconds later before the same thing happened to another. Selia gave Sebastian a nod and launched herself off the stage as well, using her bow to break a small elves neck. She landed on her hands, careful to avoid the bodies. Only a dozen or so were left. With a smile, Selia let one last arrow fly before grabbing a sword and fighting along side of Sebastian. Ryan continued along his ways, now drenched in blood. He took out two more elves in one swift motion, his fangs killing one and his hands killing another. Valerie smiled at Valik and continued to do what she was doing. Dodge, duck, slide under, kill. It was in her nature.

Valik let out a loud growl and snap as he clenched his jaws around the neck of a built elf, jerking it around like a rag doll then finally throwing the dead body to the side. He then moved onto the few that now surrounded Valerie and him, using his claws and jagged teeth to kill. Sebastian spun a dagger in each hand as a slender woman slowly approached him. They circled for a moment, waiting for someone to make the first move. The woman finally lunged at him with a screech, wailing her daggers at him, trying to get his neck or chest. Sebastian fell to the stone ground with a thump and dropped his daggers in the process. He gripped the woman's wrists, trying to push her off of him. She was stronger than he had expected. He yelled as he barely dodged one of the flailing daggers. Suddenly she stopped moving, her eyes grew wide with shock as she slowly looked down at a uniquely made arrow that went through her. She fell off of him, and Sebastian sprawled up, picking up his daggers as he did. He looked around but saw no one. The arrow couldn't be Selia's, though; the arrow looked like it belonged to another elven tribe. Sebastian gulped and turned away after not being able to find the owner. Boothe slashed his bolster sword through the waist of the last elf. He breathed hard, watching the man fall to the ground. He put the sword back in the holder that rested on his back and went to check on the others along with Sebastian.

Valerie worked with Valik, taking out the sight of some before he slashed, or even getting a knife across their throats. They fell, silent from the shock of just a handful of people taking out so many. Ryan was almost a mirror image of Valerie across the field. He looked up as the last body around him fell, and kicked the man in the ribs, breaking plenty of ribs. He coughed up blood at Ryan's feet, then shuddered to the stillness of death.
Selia was pinned to the ground, a large male elf holding her shoulders down. He smiled down on her, his teeth jagged and slightly yellowed. "Get ready to die, you little trouble maker." His voice was harsh, sounding like he had sandpaper in his throat. Selia glanced at his hands, smiling at the vines that began to wrap their way up his fingers. They were blood red and spiked, rather than the rosary that decorated her own body. He tried to life one hand to grab his knife, but was unable. The vines continued up his arm, growing faster now that they had a hold on their victim. It was only seconds before they reached his neck and face. Seeming to take a solid form, the man ripped his hands from Selia's shoulders and tore at his throat. Blood leaked from his vicious attack on his own body, and Selia finished the job with an elegant swing of a blade she picked up from her side.

Valik limped off to the side, away from the others. He turned into his human form and leaned with on arm on the ground with heavy breaths. Boothe ran to his aid in attempt to help his brother up. Valik was eventually lifted to his feet. "Sebastian!" Boothe yelled for him. Sebastian turned from Selia. "Jesus, Valik." Sebastian breathed as he came to the two. "I'm fine." Valik panted, shaking his head. Sebastian frowned. "Let him lay down. On his stomach, on his stomach." he said as Boothe lowered him. "You're gonna be fine, Valik." he reassured. Valik nodded. "Yeah, yeah. I know." he winced as he felt Sebastian's green energy fill his gashes. Sebastian shook his head to Boothe. "These wounds are too great, even if Selia and I combined our powers. They'll have to heal on their own, but I can fix them up a bit; make them less deep." he explained. When Sebastian was done, he stood. Him and Boothe helped Valik up. They looked up at their group, Sebastian frowning. "Well that was fun." Valik forced a smile. Boothe chuckled, slowly nodding. Sebastian sighed. He was debating on leaving the group again, but he feared something like this would happen again. After all, he almost made Valik lose his life, and it irked him terribly. He'd probably need medicine from Valerie.

Valerie came over to where the three men were and examined Valik's back. Her eyes widened a little bit, but relaxed as she stood next to him. Pushing the hair out of his face, she smiled at him like a mother does to a child. "You were wonderful out there. You have a gift in battle." Valerie remarked, looking for her fiance as she said this.
Ryan stumbled over to the group, looking exhausted. Dark circles were heavy under his eyes, and blood soaked his tattered clothes. He just stood by Valerie, and closed his eyes. He was motionless accept for his chest, showing his deep breathes.
Selia stood where she was, shaking slightly from exhaustion. She dropped the sword in her hand, and turned to walk over to the others. Valik was bloody, and so was Ryan. The others seemed to be in better condition. Her ink swirled then stopped, now back in the rosy patterns it was before. "How is everyone?" She whispered, unable to speak fully. Everything was pounding, and red dripped down her cheek from the elf she had slain only a few moments ago.

Valik let out a breath and nodded. "As do you," he said in return to Valerie. Sebastian took his thumb to Selia's cheek, wiping away some blood. "No one has any major injuries looks like," Sebastian said, then looked in Valik's direction. "But Valik will need rest, and lots of it. He's weak." his voice lowered to a whisper. Valik shook his head. "I'll be fine, dammit!" his voice raised in agitation. Boothe pushed at his brother's chest as he got up. "Uspokoitʹsya, brother." Boothe enforced. Valik stayed back with a huff. Sebastian sighed. "We all need rest. We should find some place to sleep. We don't know if this place is even empty or not." Boothe nodded. "He's right. It's probably best we get out of here." he agreed.

(Time Skip: EVERYONE GOT DA HALE OUTTA DER AND WENT TO OUTSIDE OF THE TREE VILLAGE THING.)
Valerie sat on the frozen ground and looked up. It was closer to dawn than it was midnight, and the sky was a light grey. Small flakes of snow fell from the low clouds, and swirled with the light breeze that ran through the woods. She shivered and put her head on Ryan's shoulder, who had sat down as well. "We have to make a fire." She whispered, seeing her breath. Ryan just nodded in agreement, and fell into a light sleep.
Selia stood next to Valik, looking like a zombie. Dark circles were under her eyes, and she looked closer to the color of snow than the tone of skin. She went to a nearby bush and sat, breaking off twigs and branches. After a few minutes, she came back with an armful of the wood. With a few words and the last of her energy, Selia lit them easily and lay on the ground, a few feet away from the flames.

Sebastian lay farther from the group, leaning against a tree. He watched the sky as flakes slowly fell down upon them. He sighed and hugged his arms for warmth as he began to fall asleep.
Valik, in werewolf form, let out a snicker as he looked over at his brother, whom was sprawled out in the snow, snoring obnoxiously. He then slowly made his way to Selia. If Sebastian was watching him he'd get yelled at for even standing with his current wounds. He wrapped his body around her for her to have warmth. Valik then burrowed the bottom of his jaw into the snow next to her legs, blinking up at her. "You look shittier than I do." Valik whispered. Being in were form, his voice sounded gravely. Oddly, it was sexy, even for a werewolf. [hehe cause Valik's sexy no matter what] He smirked at her.

[oh so true... mmm bby C; ]
"Coming from the werewolf. Have you seen yourself? It's terrifying." Selia smirked back at Valik as she turned slightly to see him better. His warm was almost energizing. It felt nice, like a warm bath after a long day. Her body shivered at the temperature change, then relaxed.
Valerie snickered under her breath at the two who were still awake. She thought it was cute how they acted around each other. Almost like they were meant to be, planned for each other. But who knew anymore? Things always change. Her hand went to her stomach as she thought about it, and Ryan's eyes fluttered open for a moment. He reached up to kiss Valerie, then lay down, his head in her lap. She fell asleep running her free hand through his hair.

Valik smirked again. "I don't think I want to," he said in a joking tone, though he felt he didn't want to. A full moon was coming soon. He was unaware of when, whether it be tomorrow or in a few days, but it was coming. His blood was already beginning to boil. He felt his wounds throb. It was hurtful, but at the same time it was giving him some odd adrenaline. He glanced over at his older brother, who was sprawled out by the fire, snoring lightly. Valik blinked his large black eyelids hard, and then just closed them. "Get some rest, Selia." he spoke in a soothing tone. Sebastian dreamt of his mother last night. It seemed as more of a flashback than anything. He saw his mother, at the bottom of the shack's steps, dancing as vines grew around her. It was when she was finishing with building the shack, a year after her husband's death. Sebastian was at the top of the steps providing music from his flute. At that time he was fourteen, when the point of his ears had just started growing. His mother had always called him a late bloomer, but his peers had always made fun of him. Sebastian didn't care. He had always thought his mother was the wisest of his village. It wasn't depressing to see this memory of his mother like it usually was, instead it was relaxing. His mother was reminding him of who he was.

Selia nodded, closing her eyes and leaning farther into his warm body. Sleep was easy, but it didn't stay long. Dreams of her father and brothers weaved in and out of her vision, whether it was while she was dozing or in her moments of being awake. Valik's steady breathing soothed her, and as dawn rose, she was finally in a solid sleep. Valerie stirred as Ryan coughed and shivered in her lap. "Sh.." She ran her fingers through his hair and dozed back off. It was too early to wake everyone, and the air was freezing. Frost covered the still bodies and the grass, the fire long burned out. A few embers remained, smoking lightly.

Sebastian woke with a shutter. He grunted at the cold, noticing his body was covered in frost. With every exhale his breath was visible. Sebastian's shoulders relaxed at the quitness of the area. The only thing that wasn't as peaceful was the remaining embers from the fire elves' village. But it was still something Sebastian would manage to enjoy. He looked at the others, chuckling a bit at Boothe, who was still in the same position. since everyone else was still asleep he just decided to doze off again. Valik opened his eyes, causing his pupils to dilate dramatically at the whiteness of the frost and snow. His eyes shifted to Selia's sleeping body. It made him not want to move. He shouldn't be moving when he didn't have to anyway, considering his wounds. Valik sighed, watching his breath dance in the cold air. He moved his gaze to Valerie, feeling his lips curl in a smile as he watched the snow fall on her pale skin. Even though she was a vampire, he found comfort in the sight of her. He let out a sigh as he waited patiently for others to wake.

Ryan coughed again, waking Valerie with the shudder that ran through his chest. It was a minute or two before the coughing stopped, Valerie and Selia both looking at him with concern. His coughing had brought them both back to alertness. "That doesn't sound like any ordinary cough, Ryan." Valerie felt his forehead with the back of her hand, like any mothering figure does to their child. Her eyes filled with concern as she looked at her fiancee. "You're sick, aren't you?" Ryan just nodded, and lay back down. "I'll be fine, Val. Just the weather changing." He breathed shakily, coughing again. This fit lasted as long as the last, though much stronger. Red splattered onto his palm with the last coughs. He was quick to stuff his hand in his pocket so Valerie didn't see.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Selia was sitting up now, careful not to move and startle Valik's wounds. She did intertwine her fingers in the fur though, marveling again at the texture. It was such an innocent gesture, though others may have found it odd. The ink on her skin seemed to jump out against the pale white, and it shivered lightly with Selia. Her breath swirled with the smoke in the fire, both creating a twisting pattern in the air. It was crisp and cold as the snow fell, sending chills through the elf girl and vampires.

Sebastian woke again to see Ryan's coughing fits. His eyes widened. Am I contageous? he wondered. He pushed himself to his feet and made his way back to the group. "What's going on?" he asked, looking from Valerie to Ryan. He crouched next to the two, his hands ready to work, the green aura glowing from them. Valik almost enjoyed the sight of the vampire being sickly. He slid out from under Selia. "I'm going hunting," he growled huskily as he walked away. Sebastian sighed at him, but focused back on Ryan.
