i-i don't know i stuttered nervously
wouldn't dawnfrost b- i stopped myself remembering she was a medicine cat now and nightkit wants to be a warrior
i have to think about it i muttered, worry about failing nightkit showing on my face as i backed out of the den and ran to the medicine cats den looking to my friend for guidance
as i shoved my way in i realized that she wasn't in here
ill wait for her i though to myself and sat down to wait

the medicine cat walked into the with some extra cobwebs since they were running low, to see Rainpaw waiting in the den a patient already?! rainpaw, are you sick or hurt? what do you need? she slowly walked up and sat a few tail lengths infront of her old denmate.

no i mewed hurriedly
they want me to mentor nightkit but im just an apprentice myself even though im almost a warrior
i just dont want nightkit to get less than she deserves with training i meowed
even though i have know made my decision with that statement i waited for her to reply
(can i make another warrior and just pretend that they've been here and that That warrior has a special connection with nightkit? i dont wanna be a new mentor yet)

Whitekit
Whitekit rushed out of the nursery and padded up to Nightkit. "It looks like you're going to be an apprentice!" she mewed happily. She felt her tail droop in disappointment. She would miss Nightkit. Of course they didn't always get along, but that didn't really matter right now. "Where did you hear that?" Whitekit almost leapt out of her fur as Moonblaze came up fom behind. "I. . uh. . .heard Willowstar telling Rainpaw. . ." she confessed. Moonblaze seemed surprised. "All the way over there?" he asked, motioning to the nursery. Whitekit nodded. She saw something gleam in Moonblaze's eyes. Pride? Annoyance? Curiousity? Whitekit wasn't sure. "I'm sorry." she apologized. "I didn't mean to be eavesdrop." Moonblaze shook his head. "It's alright. . .just don't do it again." he meowed. Then the white tom hurried away. Whitekit ignored Moonblaze and went back to talking to Nightkit. "You HAVE to teach me some battle moves!" she mewed. "I'll be the best fighter even before I'm apprenticed!" She swiped at a passing butterfly and pinned it to the ground, then she sat back and watched it fly away again.

"I will. I wonder who my mentor will be. " Nightkit mewed as she watched Whitekit attack a passing butterfly. The black and grey striped she-kit couldn't help but be a little disappointed. She had wanted Rainpaw to be her mentor, but then again she would be an apprentice finally! Nightkit sat down in the middle of the camp and began to wash herself, wishing her mother could see her, but her mother had been a loner. Surely she didn't walk in the skies like Starclan could. Nightkit stared up at the sky her eyes looking for a sign that her mother was watching her.
Crescent
Crescent nodded and padded out the den. He looked around and guessed Rainpaw had gone to go talk to Dawnfrost. He cautiously mewed "Rainpaw? Willowstar sent me out to talk to you." as he entered the medicine cat den. He saw Rainpaw and Dawnfrost talking it out and decided he wasn't needed and padded back out of the den.

Sandfire lifted his head to watch Rainpaw go to the medicine cat's den. Cresent went after her, a bit after Dawnfrost. Suddenly, the ginger tom had no idea what was going on. I'll ask Willowstar, he decided. Then he stood up, stretched, and went to the entrance of his leader's den. "Willowstar?" he called.

Sandfire put a paw in Willowstar's den. "I know I'm not deputy anymore, but I feel werd not knowing what's going on," he confessed. To make sure she knew what the orange tom was talking about, Firefang flicked an ear towards Rainpaw and the group.

i know you cant i mewed with amusement at myself
im not gonna i mewed.. maybe if i had become a warrior when i was supposed too but not now... not yet
although stormclaw would be a good mentor for her..
its funny.. i muttered im so behind on my warrior duties..
stupid me falling out of the tree i mewed with amusement
(my late warrior story is that i was supposed to become a warrior with dawnfrost and stormclaw but before willowstar decided for all of us to be warriors i broke my right front leg and couldnt hunt or fight and then after i got better that badgers and the death postponed it even more...(there is no relation between me and stormclawbut dawnfrost if you wanna be my sister thats good with me)

Nightkit got up and paced back and forth across the camp. I want to know who my mentor will be now! she thought as she glanced up at Willowstar s den and then back to the medicine cat den.

Crescent sat down in the middle of camp and watched Nightkit pace back and forth impatiently. Who ever is her mentor will have a hard time training her. he observed as the young she-cat lashed her tail behind her.
