"Hmph, looks like you're either brave, or you don't know who I am." Hark turned his head to look at Ramas. "What's your name?" behind the bar, the bartenders were edging back away from the bar a bit, just in case something went wrong and Hark started a fight. As he turned his head, he dropped a couple gold coins on the table to pay for his meal and drink.

"Hark! Get out here you scum!" A loud voice shouted from outside. Hark slowly turned his head towards the door. "I'll have to get to know you another time maybe. I don't want to keep my requesters waiting." Hark stood up slowly and walked outside, where there was 12 Mercenaries waiting, many of which were rather well known. "Haven't you boys got anything better to do than bug me?" Hark relaxed his arms straight down, not moving even slightly.

Everyone in the area besides the mercs suddenly ran behind corners of buildings and poked their heads out to watch. There was also a pair of men standing in the streets nearby, who immediately jumped up onto the rooftop across from the tavern to watch from a safe height. It was Hiroko and Hayate, but their appearances were completely different. "Damn... that's Hark... What is he doing in Thelmios right now?" Hiroko gritted his teeth for a moment as he and Hayate watched.

Two of the mercenaries start to rush at Hark. Hark reacts by dashing quickly over to them and two blades attached to a metal device on his wrists come out. As the mercs are running towards him, he somehow appears in between both of them by using an amazing amount of speed that wasn't enhanced by magic. As the two of them realize their target had moved locations, they turned to re-focus on Hark. Hark slashes the mercs, cutting both of their heads clean off their bodies. As the two bodies hit the floor, they are set aflame by a blue fire and instantly turned to ash. The rest of the mercs all began to run off in separate directions, but it was too late the moment they lifted their feet up. Hark disappeared several times, making slashes against each and every one of the mercenaries, their bodies and heads following the same fates as the earlier two who died. Hark shook his head slowly. "People never learn." he said as he kicked a pile of ash on the ground. He slowly started to walk down the road, and retracted the wrist blades.

The twins were still looking at the piles of ashes on the ground, almost completely struck with awe, and a bit of fear. "If that guy can actually use magic... I wonder if there's anyone who can beat him... He's almost as fast as Firomis with his wing spell. That guy... is a monster." Hiroko slowly turned his head to watch Hark.

In an instant, the blade on his left wrist is out again and the tip of it is a mere millimeter away from piercing Kristin's left eye. "When you can fight without relying on magic, maybe then you can talk like that to me. You'd be dead if I wasn't in a good mood. These blades of mine are an ancient artifact known as the Blue Moons. They turn anything they cut off or kill into ash. A magic user of your skill couldn't even hit me with a spell if you put all your effort into it. Be happy you kept your life today." Hark vanishes into a cloud of smoke that clears a moment after he is gone.

Ramas left the guy named Hark alone when he left but he was still shocked that Kristin was here already. this isn't good. She shouldn't be here already. He took a seat next to kristin. "What are you doing here already." he said just loud enough for kristin to hear.

" Have you been to the business district of town yet? There's a trade show going on, and guess who's hosting it?" Ramas handed Kristin a key. "I have a room at an inn called the twin blades near the business district. You might want to lay low there for awhile until i can find out more about what Fenix is doing at the trade show.

Hiroko and Hayate enter the tavern, Hayate entering shortly after Hiroko does. Each of them went to a different end of the bar and sat down, Hayate ordered a glass of water, and Hiroko ordered a glass of ale.
