Lieutenant_Charon Jaaten Syric Lieutenant_Charon But be sure to check out the Seven Samurai, one of the greatest movies ever made. Own it. Watched it last night/this morning infact. Kikuchiyo Forever!! (on a sidenote I'm watching Yojimbo as we type) Also see (if you haven't yet) Sanjuro, Ran, The Hidden Fortress, Redbeard, uh, that's all i've seen. Ran is King Lear. Don't forget to watch "The Last Samurai" starring Tom Cruise. Yes I know what I just said eek

But obviously, having a 1600s play acted out in an era that started around the 1100s [Feudal Japan] on top of it being a movie that was made in 1957.

Not to mention the weapons used. If memory serves the movie takes place between 1875-1880. The raw recruits are first issued (what appear to be) civil war issue Springfield rifles. At the time of the final battle, they have turn-bolt Mausers (which had not been invented).

Education Level: Sophomore in high school Occupation: Eh student I suppose Fields of Intrest/Study: Mostly ethology (animal behavior) animal emotions and intelligence. Philosophy also ties in too, especially morals and ethics. I'm pretty opening ot any form of learning, I like to understand things and why they happen.

I'm assuming you mean The Seven Samurai? I didn't know they actually remade it (well...The Magnificent Seven sorta counts...). Unless you're talking about Samurai Seven...
