"Ah well Prince Charming and Sleeping Beauty are from a fairy tale," He went on to explain the story before slowly sitting up with Sikari now on his lap. He looked down at him and smiled while rubbing his cheeks. "So that was me saying you're my sleeping beauty." Laughing he pecked his lips before standing up and putting the male down on his feet as well. He stretched a bit feeling decently rested now. Since that was the case be started to feel the munchies, he was craving some meat, whether it was sea food or some kind of bore. That being the case he couldn't wait to get to the island because he knew there were wild bores running around that place. Not to mention that Sikari's villagers made a mean a** bore.
Rubbing Sikari's head he went on to say, "Well I'm extremely hungry, lets go eat. And while we eat I'll show you how to navigate." Dorian walked over to the door and opened it, letting Sikari leave first before following him. His crew were still doing the usual as he walked over asking, "Hey, tell the cook to make us some good food!" Well it was more like demanding but everyone was hungry so the cook was told to cook and so they had to wait. So meanwhile Dorian sat at the table in the area where they all gathered to eat. There he sat with Sikari showing him the maps of the oceans and just telling him everything he knew about navigation etc.

Sikäri listened to the male explain the story, quite content where he was on Dorian's lap. This was a luxury in itself, being told a story from another culture... It was fascinating. He scrunched his nose up a bit at the end part, he wasn't like a helpless cursed woman- but he chose to keep that to himself when Dorian pecked him on the lips and stood- placing Sikäri on his feet as well. His long silky hair which was now nice and wavy from the braid fell freely down to his waist, and he had to lift a hand to tuck a few strands behind his ear, pondering whether or not he should give it a trim. But he decided against it- it marked the time when he and Dorian were apart and now it would mark the time they were together.... If Dorian didn't like it he'd have to deal with it.
He sighed as the other rubbed his head, mussing up his hair further and thus he had to lift a hand to smooth it out again, pulling it over one shoulder out of habit. "Okay" He agreed, he wasn't about to argue when food was involved.. It had been weeks since he had a decent meal. Sikäri followed Dorian to the fair sized table where they seemed to take their meals, sitting nice and close as he listened to Dorian explain the maps and navigation tools. "I'm used to using the sun for time and direction so that will help for the most part... Stars are good too" He commented, figuring he could probably find his way back to the island.... hopefully. He could only help that there wasn't too much damage, but he was worried and being the open book he was that probably showed on his face.
They still had hunters there, and the medicine man... But he wasn't sure how well they would hold up without someone there to guide their actions. Sikäri had been the mediator, peace keeper and leader for all of them. Plus so many of the community had been captured and some were killed.... He didn't even know the amount of deceased. When the food came he ate only until he was content, not wanting to have too hardy a meal after going so long without- he'd simply get sick if he did. Afterwards he smiled at Dorian and stood "I'm going to get some fresh air" He stated before he slipped away, quicker than Dorian could have responded.
Once out on the deck of the ship he decided to climb up onto the mast, settling there as he breathed in the ocean air and stared out a the sea that never seemed to end... "I need to get home soon" He murmured softly to himself, worry lacing his words as he felt a sudden longing for his home- for the security his people provided. The life he was so used to living.

Dorian watched Sikari stand and head out though he didn't stop him or follow figuring he wanted a little time to think. Even if they were separated for five years, they still needed quite time to themselves after all. Once he finished he put away the map and stretched though his attention was quickly drawn to one of the crew members that came rushing inside.
"Capin'! A storm is brewing and it seems that it'll be a bad one." He genuinely seemed nervous.
"Is there anyway going around it? Or are we going to get hit soon?"
"We'll be sailing into it in a matter of minutes," he replied as Dorian nodded and headed back out.
"Gather around everyone!" He looked to make sure everyone was on deck. Glancing up he spotted the male sitting up there. "Sikari, come down here," He motioned to him then addressed everyone about the storm that was heading right for them.
"Now, those who will stay out here to work on the deck are to wear their safety ropes. Everyone else head down and be sure everything is secure. Get movin'! We'll be hit soon." Everyone nodded as half went down and the other stayed on deck tying things down etc. Sikari's people were lead down while Dorian would let Sikari decide whether he wanted to stay up or go down as well.

By the time Dorian had come out on to the deck and called for everyone to gather he was already climbing down, just in time to hear Dorian call out to him as well. As soon as he was on the deck he moved to stand by Dorian, listening to him call out orders, though is attention was drawn to the horizon where dark clouds began to roll in. "That looks nasty" He breathed softly, watching as everyone scrambled to either get ropes of take cover. And of course Sikäri wasn't about to go and hide while Dorian and his crew risked their lives.
So he grabbed a rope for himself, tying is securely around his waist and then the mast, before deep blue orbs darted to Dorian once more. "What can I do to help?" He voiced, not wanting to be a burden but he also didn't want to let Dorian go about this alone. And if they couldn't get through the storm at least he'd be with Dorian if things went wrong. He bit his bottom lip softly as his mind turned, before he moved over to Dorian and kissed him quickly on the lips, before he smiled confidently "This is just one more trial for us huh" He stated, though he didn't seem to be discouraged, if anything he wanted to prove that they could get through this with ease.
The storm was getting close now and the waters were slowly becoming more and more treacherous, which honestly made Sikäri's stomach churn. He wasn't used to being out on the sea, but he had to stick it out- had to be strong for Dorian and for himself. He had survived this long, and he'd be damned if he were to die now- not after he finally got Dorian back... Not when things were starting to look up after five years of dealing with the loneliness of losing his partner.

The storm finally hit as the boat rocked violently so anyone who wasn't used to thise would probably get sick quickly especially those down below deck. Dorian gripped the wheel tight, trying to keep the boat in the right course while barking orders. "Mendez, secure the life lines!" he said as he pointed at one of the crew members who nodded and quickly did so as the storm seemed to worsen as the time went by. Dorian and everyone else was drenched from the pouring rain along with the waves crashing against the boat, water spewing in and splashing them.
Dorian seemed to be handling everything as if he hadn't been gone from the ocean at all. Though one particular thing caught his attention and he looked nearly horrified. A large wave was forming and it was coming their way. There was no way to avoid it and there only hope was that the wave didn't turn the boat upside down. He instructed the crew to throw everything that wasn't needed off the ship along with the cannons. He wanted to boat to be as light as possible. He hoped that the ocean would spit them back out.
As the wave grew and came closer, he quickly grabbed Sikari and knelt on the ground as he braced himself between the rail and the wheel. "Brace yourselves!" he yelled as the wave finally hit, water hitting them as they would have to hold their breath for as long as they were consumed with water.

Sikäri stumbled once as the waves began to rock the ship, but he managed to catch himself and help secure any others who were having trouble. He shivered once and mentally cursed his choice of clothing but besides that he couldn't do anything about it so he dropped the thought. His attention was quickly drawn to the incoming wave which was growing in size and heading straight for them and he could feel himself shudder at the thought of death at sea... before he could get back to his home... That was something he would regret. He helped out with throwing anything heavy off the side of the boat, surprising a few of the ship mates with his hidden strength- he didn't really look muscly.
He startled when Dorian grabbed him and ducked down between the railing and the ships wheel, his gaze finding Dorians for a moment before he was forced to take in a deep breath and hope that he could hold it long enough as they were plunged into the salty water. The world went black around him but he made sure to hold on to the warm body beside him, willing himself to bare the strain the water pressure put on them. His lungs began to burn as he prayed silently for them to make it through this- and only when he felt the ship pop out of the ocean and cold air sent a shiver down his spine did he open his eyes and take in a deep breath, relief washing over him briefly. He could only hope that there would be no more waves like that as he quietly brought himself back together, taking note that he was trembling which wasn't exactly something he could stop so he simply took slow gulps of air to even his breathing out again. "Ship one, ocean zero.." He breathed, dropping his head onto Dorian shoulder for a moment as he continued to get his bearings. "You okay?" he murmured, his voice sounding a bit harsh to his own ears- but this was stressful and taking a lot out of him.

Dorian had taken a breath of air as well once they were back up on the surface as he was glad that the sea didn't swallow them up. He felt Sikari shivering though he wasn't sure if it was because of the cold or because of that near death experience....or maybe both. Nonetheless he didn't have much time to think about it since his attention was needed after he had replied with a chuckle, "I'm dandy."
"Captain! Land!" One of the crew members shouted as he stood up with Sikair and let him go as he untied himself and looked to see that familiar land mass.
"Of course...that storm had come out of no where and too quick to be natural just like the one that hit us when he hit that island." He smiled and looked at Sikari, "You're home." He then maned the wheel again as all the crew members were counted for which meant no one had been the victim of the sea.
It didn't take long when they finally reached the shore as the crew member busied getting the ship to go onto the beach then anchor it down there while they stayed on the island for however long. Dorian let Sikari and his people be the first to touch land he then followed. He stood there and smiled, just watching.

A small smile pulled at his lips as Dorian responded, though he took a moment to get to his feet, following suit to remove the rope from his waist. At the word 'land' he seemed to completely forget the fact that he was soaked and cold and ran to the bow of the ship, sapphire orbs wide as his home came into sight. "Yeah" He breathed, his eyes fixated on the land mass that was getting closer and closer.
Suddenly he spun around and threw his arms around Dorians neck without any warning, hugging him tightly for a moment, before he pulled back to arms length and beamed a smile at him "Thank you" He voiced earnestly, before he took off to check on his people in the hull and inform them they were nearly there. When he returned to the deck they were practically at the island and it was hard for him to stay still as they reached shore and dropped the anchor. Of course Sikäri didn't really wait for a plank to be lowered and simply hoisted himself over the boat and somehow managed to maneuver safely to the beach below. He took a moment to simply breathe in the familiar scent of the island, feeling the warmth of the sun again- and to simply stand there and take it all in.
Without a word he took off into the forest, knowing that everyone would be able to follow just perhaps not as swiftly as Sikäri moved. It didn't take him long to find his home again, and the moment he stepped into the opening he heard gasps, cries and was quite literally tackled to the ground by a bunch of children who proceeded to sob loudly. "I'm back...we're all back" He called out, letting a joyous laugh fill the air as he took in his surroundings. Nothing had been too badly damaged and from what he could see the death count was low. But right now was not a time to grieve, he could feel it in the air. He watched as his people filed from homes, and the ones who had been prisoners appeared from the forest....and then he watched as his people rejoiced.
"I will hunt tonight- And we will feast" He called as he finally got to his feat, "And we owe a great thank you to Dorian and his crew- as we wouldn't be here without them" He added as Dorian appeared in his sight and a warm smile took to his lips. He could hear audible gasps, followed by more cheers at the fact that Dorian was alive. They had all seen Sikäri grieve, and now he would have no cause to be sad. Tonight they would celebrate life.
~Time skippage a lil bit~
Sikäri moved through the forest with a few of his clan mates, quite content with the boar they had managed to take down. It was large and everyone would be well fed tonight. The moment they reached the small village preparation for dinner began and soon the smell of roasting boar had filled the air. Sikäri was busy speaking with many people who had lost loved ones, paying his respects, and thus was kept rather busy until it was actually time for the feast. But eventually the time did come and he had to pardon himself to go and find Dorian. He ended up sneaking up on Dorian, before he pounced on the males back and nuzzled his nose against his neck "The feasts starting" He purred sweetly, dropping off of Dorian's back after a moment, careful not to irritate the males wounds.

Dorian didn't mind that Sikari was busy since he had to take care of his people and clearly do a bit of catching up etc. He simply minded his own business the whole time, smiling warmly at Sikari whenever the male looked over at him and showed his own sweet smile. His crew members were helping out as well as it seemed that everyone seemed to be working together easier as if they had been there for years. It was a nice sight.
Dorian had lingered around Sikari most of the day until he went off to hunt in which he lingered by the fire, enjoying the heat. Then when the bore was brought and being cooked he couldn't help but stay there by the fire to smell the delicious meat. Dorian had jumped a little when Sikari jumped on him out of no where. He chuckled and turned around to look down at the male. "Good, I'm starving and I hope that means we can spend quality time together and you can feed me." He laughed and sat down though he had Sikari sit between his legs as he had his wrapped around the males waist as they were all being served. Dorian rested his chin on Sikari's shoulder and would go 'ahh' whenever he wanted Sikari to feed him.

Sikäri felt his face warm up as Dorian sat him down between his legs, though honestly he invited the closeness happily. "You're like a puppy" He mused as Dorian insisted on being fed by him. He did so without a fuss though, honestly he thought it was quite fun to feed his lover. He did have to ignore the murmuring and pointing however, because he was a little bit embarrassed.. couldn't help it after five years of avoiding any physical contact. Soon that fruity alcohol that had lead up to Sikäri and Dorian's first night together was being passed around and of course it was a celebration so Sikäri didn't mind having a drink himself. When they were both nice and full he leaned back and rested his head in the crook of Dorian's neck affectionately. "I missed you" He sighed, though it was in a happier manner.
His long silvery hair had been pulled into a low ponytail and draped over his shoulder out of the way. He tilted his head up to place a soft kiss on Dorian's jaw, before his attention was drawn to one of his clan mates as they danced around merrily, earning a soft chuckle from Sikäri. Soon there was music and merriment everywhere, but Sikäri didn't leave Dorian's embrace, quite happy as he was. "it's been a long time since we've had cause for such a big celebration" He murmured, sounding a bit reminiscent.

"And I missed you," Dorian replied with as much tone of affection as Sikari had demonstrated. He tightened his embrace slightly before reaching up and grabbing the males jaw gently in order to tilt his head up enough so that he could give him a long, sweet and loving kiss before pulling back a bit to look down at him. Smiling warmly at Sikari he whispered to him, "Let's go to your home for some privacy late. Or now, i'll leave it up o you. Though I think we should enjoy the celebration. But don't ask me to dance, I suck at that." Dorian chuckled as he sat there relaxing, watching the natives dance as well as some of his crew.

Sikäri allowed the other male to tilt his head back, letting the kiss linger between them, a smile playing on his lips when Dorian pulled back. He couldn't help but chuckle at Dorian's suggestion- though he did want to be alone with Dorian later as well. "You can't be that bad" He purred, turning his body slightly so that he could wrap his own arms around Dorian's Torso, resting his head on the males chest while he watched the festivities go on. Tomorrow would not be quite as cheerful, as they would do the proper burial rites...but for now everyone was happy. There was cheer and now he could hear voices joining in with the music, his people were singing.
After a while Sikäri found himself humming along, something he hadn't done in so long. In fact, he hadn't sung a song since Dorian had disappeared.... And now he felt like he should join in with his people. Turning his head he smiled up at Dorian "I want to join in for a bit" He muttered, before he leaned up to kiss Dorian sweetly, pulling himself from the others arms so that he could join in with the dancing. The looks his people gave him were filled with joy when he began to dance with them, his uncanny grace obviously making him stand out. It took a while but he began to sing along with them, a bright smile on his own face as they went through a traditional dance where they constantly changed partners, weaving about each other almost like a folk dance.
When he finally felt satisfied with dancing and singing and walked back over to Dorian, taking a seat right next to him so that he could lean against the other male, a little bit out of breath. "That was fun" He breathed, deep oceanic eyes full of energy despite the fact that he felt a bit worn out from the dancing, but he'd be fine once he'd caught his breath.

"Course," he replied and let Sikari leave his arms and head off to join in the singing and dancing. He smiled and sat there watching everyone have a good time and it made him feel just as happy watching Sikari laugh and smile the way he was doing at the moment. It was in this moment that he felt peaceful and he no longer had all those worries gnawing at the back of his head like they usually did. Taking in a deep breath he felt at home which was surprising since he never felt good on land, the sea was the only thing that brought him true peace and the only thing that could lull him to sleep or shut up all those demons within himself.
Of course his peaceful thinking was disturbed by his first mate. He had cleared his throat in order to get Dorian's attention and when he did he merely asked, "When exactly do you plan on telling him? You can't exactly lie about it forever because one day he'll just wake up and-"
Dorian interrupted him, his eyebrows furrowing in both irritation and frustration "I know. I'm well aware of the consequences if I don't tell him."
The other male nodded, "We're all prepared for that day." He sighed and then headed back to join in the festivities.
Sighing as well, Dorian decided to let his frustration out by pulling his small blade out and stabbing the dirt for a bit. But seeing that Sikari was done he put it away and smiled once the male plopped down beside him. He grabbed Sikari's hand and intertwined his fingers with his. "Sure did look like you were having fun," he chuckled and nuzzled his face against the top o Sikari's head.

When there palms met he felt his smile widen, and he tilted his head back, though the stab marks in the ground made his smile falter. Suddenly he was on Dorians lap, basically straddling the male as he pressed his forehead against Dorian's lightly. "Whats wrong?" He murmured, worry dancing in his eyes as he brought his hands up to cup Dorians cheeks softly. He caressed the other males cheek with his thumb gently "Because I really doubt the ground did anything to warrant being stabbed over and over" He added, letting the other know that he had noticed the stab mark in the ground next to him.
Sikäri let his orbs close as his brow furrowed ever so slightly, concern washing over his features "You're not in pain are you? Did something happen? You're troubled right?" He murmured, letting any scenario that popped to his mind free, his voice shaking ever so slightly. He was definitely scared that something was wrong, not wanting to think about it but knowing that the smallest thing could tear them apart again. He let his deep orbs flicker open again "I'm not going to lose you again." He stated firmly, a fierce determination lighting in his eyes.

"Calm down calm down now," Dorian replied with a light hearted chuckle as he grabbed the males wrists and pulled his hands gently and then held them firmly in his. "I'm not in pain. But yes I am troubled in that I have to figure out a way to convince my crew that this is where we will be living from now on..." He smiled and knew that was somethign Sikari had been thinking about. Thinking whether Dorian would stay or leave back into the open seas. He also hoped it would help relax Sikari and no longer wonder what was wrong with him. Now was not the time. He didn't want to talk about it just yet.
"So, do you think there's any room for us all?"
