Fourth year and yet no royal to be partnered with. It was a good thing that Rose was asleep or else she would not be able to hear the last of it. She can be really persuasive when in comes to the things she wants. Yet she won't even shed some light as to why she would like a royal so much.

In all her years in the campus she managed to find out that no one visits the greenhouse that much . Meaning it would be the perfect place for a maiden to run around with her own antics. True there are nothing but plants here but in her heart she knows that she would be able to find something here.

Just right on cue she saw something that she has never seen before. It was a fragile, brightly colored butterfly. It was the said rare Metalmark Butterfly. Now why it was able to find it's way here, she really has no idea. One thing is for sure though. She found herself interested, and was very drawn to it. The girl mindlessly followed the said butterfly until it rested on one of the flowers of sakura. It's deep blue color made it bloom more for it contrast the powder pink colors of the flower.

Once she was already under its shade she continued to for it as is flew from one flower to another and bumped into something hairy. Scarlet's eyes still towards her specimen her hands started to roam around the hair creature until it landed into something something smooth, feeling every curve of the surface. She abruptly looked down to see she was actually playing with the head of a boy. "Waaaaaaah" She shouted in horror as she landed on her bosom. She did not think that a person would be in such a place at this time. They should be in class! It was then she remembered about the thing that brought her here which unfortunately is now gone. "Great! No more Metalmark Butterfly. She pouted.

With her mind still lost in desperation as to why she bumped into a boy, she continued to look at the pink flower where her specimen once rested. It not like she mind. She has no problem getting along with both genders. At the very least it was a good thing her alter ego is fast asleep or she might have had another outburst right now.

Once she heard a feeble voice of a female child asking about the butterfly of which she speak she explained it straight as if it was in a book. A metalmark buttefly. It refers to the small metallic-looking spots commonly found on their wings. There are 1532 species and 146 genera of metalmark butterflies in the world. The one that flew by just now is one in a shade of metallic blue. One which is rare to be spotted in such locations. That is why I was highly facinat- Her speech was cut off the moment she looked at the person looming behind the girl. His eyes was blazing with confidence pushing lower the ground of which she was sitting. Was he the same person whose face I felt a while ago? NO! He's angry for what I did! Her eyes wide in fear as to what he might do to her. She was fully capable of taking care of herself provided she was not faced against an intimidating person. Why must she encounter such person right when Rose is out cold.

Swaying her arms limply in front of her, she looked down with her eyes shut. I swear I didn't mean it! It's just... the butterfly... Sakura and... Metalmawk... Her hands covered her mouth and winced in pain. She was trying to hard to get her apology across that she bit her own tongue. Great! It's like a series of unfortunate events.

With her hands still frozen straight in front of her, Scarlet slowly raised her head blinking at the two. She did not want the two to start bickering all because of her clumsiness. And what did they mean stay with them until they go to bed? The girl tilted her head puzzled as to why even mention that in this situation. She has her own space to sleep in. Oh no! Did they think that I'm some homeless girl that's why I came here? To sleep?

Finally able to get her wits together she shook her head and dusted herself off. Such a weird pair they are. She said to herself as she nodded in agreement. The brunette abruptly looked at the boy as he introduced themselves and whispered to his sister about the right way to introduce oneself. Scarlet cannot help but to giggle at his words. And it was just too cute for them to finish their own sentences. Unlike the person who chose to stay in her body for whatever reason that may be. It's nice to meet both of you, Ashley and Aphrodite. She said giving them a friendly smile. As per that question of yours. I'm not really sure myself. Honestly I just run around wherever my feet takes me. And that's why I got to bump into you two. Again. I am reaaaaaaally sorry for doing such a thing. I'm out of it sometimes. She said sheepishly.

The maiden giggled to herself. Between the two it seems like it is the little girl who is in control. Poor guy. Regardless they really are an interesting pair of siblings. The boy must not be used to interacting with others that's why she took it upon herself to help his big brother. How adorable can she get? My apologies. It was rude of me not to introduce myself. I am Scarlet Viod. Fourth year. Standing in to find my royal.

Aphrodite seems to be taken in by her game once again. She was not really fond of such devices but for her to be that drawn to it surely it would be something interesting, is it not? She watched as the maiden pulled out one a small chess board. Now where did that came from? Curious enough, she tried to peek at the girl's back. Nothing. There was nothing. Magic? She mentally shrugged it off tried to focus on what she was saying, or rather proposing. Their terms were quite vague and the wager was really heavy. It was then like vomit Rose came up and continued her question. If we win then you do whatever we want. She snickered.

Hastily Scarlet's hands moved to her mouth to shut it. Rose was awake?! All this time she thought she was still enjoying her slumber. Her eyes went alternately from the boy and then to the girl as her argue with Rose in her thoughts. How long have you been awake? Ever since you took your first step into the green house, darling. Lemme switch with you, I'll bury those two and send them home crying. Rose laughed maniacly. Cut it out! Let me handle this! They look harmless, well the girl is. Anyways! I'll win this for us alright? Rose rolled her eyes on Scarlet just to make her see how irritated she was with her. She would just switched with her without her permission but after their argument yesterday it would not be very advisable to force herself over the maiden again.

Scarlet's eyes started to wander again as the specimen she was once following came back blessing the two people in front of her with its wonderful glittery dust. Her eyes went limp and fell back to her sides as she stared to it in awe. Butterfly. She started to follow it again as it head over to the exit. Hey snap out of it! Scarlet! That's it! You can hate me all you want! With that the aura enveloping the young lady changed. Rose took over. Flipping her hair over her shoulder, she turned back to face the two, taking a seat right across Aphrodite. Now, how should I crush you little maggots.She smirked. Clearly she's not letting them win this game.

Rose's lips curled upwards. Oh now they've really perked her interest. She has been bombarding Scarlet to look for a proper guardian for a long time now but she has not found yet. The girl has her own reasons, yes, but that is another story to tell. Right now what is important is that she became their knight. She can easily throw them if she's not satisfied with their performance so might as well give them a chance. Fine by me. Rose gracefully sat right across them, both her legs tucked in on one side and with her chin slightly tilted upwards.

Time to put in another condition. Total submission is not her thing after all. ...Provided I still have my freedom to choose what to do. That of course includes her freely letting their arrangements if she gets bored. Speaking quite vaguely is the key to get what you want. Laws are created only to benefit those who made it. That is why they put in complicated words in them so that normal people would not be able to find any loopholes but still think it is to benefit them and not him.

I have a game to win.Boy, that guy can analyze things well. Maybe their thoughts about him was wrong. Well that could be right, or it could be wrong. Regardless they'll just have to find it out soon enough.

Rose giggled at little Aphrodite's words. Neither do I darling. She said arrogantly. Leaning in on the board she lifted one of the chess pieces and played with it with her feeble hands. So? What do you say? Is it a deal?

Now with her conditions negated, she needs to add another condition to game. She plans to be their knight but the way he put it, it as as if he she was rendered to of eternal servitude. that she cannot deal with. Something must be done. But what. The movements of the pieces continued to move as the game progressed she continued to formulate something that would be to her benefit. Her inner devil laughed maniacally as she thought of the perfect plan. Fine, Scarlet Void swears to be your knight in case she looses this game. She spoke in third person casually to move her queen eating the knight. Checkmate! She declared her win when in fact she left a clear opening for the rook to eat her king instead. Perfect distraction for someone who wants to win the game, is it not?

Rose cannot help but laugh at the sudden turn of events. The two are truy something. Now that the cat was out of the bag no need to pretend. She was never really good in acting even if she was in her body. Whatever. Well since you figured that out I think it would be proper to tell you my name. It's Rose. I would like Scarlet to have a royal but you two would have to prove yourselves to be worthy to get my loyalty. She needs to be cautious of others, this is however not for her but for Scarlet. If they were to be her royals then she would like to make sure that they in turn can protect her. She did not know how long she can stay in her body so it would be better to have some sort of insurance to keep her friend safe. Scarlet's Kind off and air head so I need to look out for her. I don't want you aristocrats taking advantage of such clueless girl.Hey!Okay, Okay not clueless. Gullible. Rose continued to laugh harder than before. If others saw her this way they would probably think of her as crazy but teasing Scarlet really brings her joy. Wiping the tears from her eyes she tried to talk properly. In that instant Scarlet was back in charge. She blinked herself back to reality and abruptly bowed at the two. I am terribly sorry for her behavior. She may act rudely but I swear she means well. Also, I will be glad to be your knight. Thank you for giving me such opportunity.
