Nix looked at Rashir when he spoke to her, somehow he came all the way out here looking for answers. She could recognize that look anywhere. ".. I arrived yesterday. If you want answers then look for a green haired man, a copper haired man, or Sano.. He has white hair.. Also there is a Mission Board you can check out if you want to get out of here for a bit.. It's in the Forecourt." She explained before turning away to look at her view again. Right now she wasn't feeling at her best and talking to people about things outside her expertise wasn't going to help.
Nix jumped a little when a familiar voice sounded next to her. It was Reno.. She looked at the flowers he held out and took them more out of reflex. Her temper rose a little when he had to bring up how she needed to rest. Before she could say something he put his lips against her cheek and then hugged her. It was strange, she didn't remember having anything on her face for that to happen. The woman scooted away from him, a confused look on her face. ".. Don't do that. I don't want my face bitten or anything. I don't need to rest. If I can walk then I'll be fine.. I just can't go out and fith today. Tomorrow I'll be fine. Thanks for the flowers though.. Why are they a bit crushed?"

Rashir gave a polite bow followed by a calm "Thank you." He then proceeded to turn back to the Forecourt and see if he could find any of the three men this person had just told him about, and possibly see if there are any missions available to him yet. Maybe he could teem up with someone to take a mission as well. He could only hope.
Reno stared blankly at Nix for a good while. Her sudden change in behavior from the day before and now caught him completely off guard. She was acting colder than before, at least towards him. The way she acted, it was as if she didn't even trust him anymore. Or was I just fooling myself in believing she trusted me? Heh...
When Nix asked about the flowers, Reno hid his injured left hand behind his back and looked away. "There was a small accident and they got damaged." For a short while, Reno went quiet again and just stared up at the sky. When he finally spoke again, he couldn't even bring himself to look at her. "Nix? I'm not sure what's going on, or what has you so troubled, but just know that we're here for you okay? You have friends, and treating them the way you do...well, it's not right. You have to put more trust in people."
Standing up, Reno turned and faced her. "I'm going to leave you alone. Okay? But, before I go, I'm going to say this: return to the Medical Wing soon and get some rest. You're not in any condition to be up and about. The doctors are worried about you too." Patting her shoulder with his right hand, he walked past her and left the Summit without speaking another word to her.

Nix silently listened to Reno and watched as he left. She set the flowers on the bench beside her and looked up at the sky. ".. It's not that.. I don't trust others. It's just that.. I don't trust myself. No matter how hard I try.. I only seem to come closer to the darkness. Why did he act like I didn't try to kill them yesterday?" The woman stopped to sigh as tears started rolling down her cheek. "How much longer.. Will I be able to see this sky before all I see is darkness?" She pulled her legs up to have them against her chest as she rested her forehead on her knees. Nix didn't want to be seen crying if anyone should come around.
Nix truly wanted friends but with the threat of the Antiform within her it was a risk she couldn't bring herself to take. Though sometimes the feeling of being alone was crushing. Why was it after all these years now she couldn't stand the thought of being alone? Was it because of the people she met?.. Or was it that she never wanted to be alone and coming here made her realize that? 'It doesn't matter.. I don't even know who I really am.'

The nightmare was certainly unnerving. Even though it wasn't real, it was all too real to Namine, who had experienced far too many true nightmares to account for. But seeing Roxas in a pod just like Sora.. no, that thought alone just didn't sit well with the blonde. The simple fact that, if that really did happen, she'd be the one doing it. Taking apart his memories piece by piece like Sora. Just because she was the "witch," didn't mean she enjoyed doing the dirty work of the Organizations. All of this.. probably, a lot of it, was her fault. Right from the beginning, she was really the one pulling the strings, messing with memories.
The girl hadn't bothered with breakfast, since she probably wouldn't be able to digest it anyway, nor did she have an appetite. So, rather, she went for a walk, getting lost a few times. She didn't mind though, because it made the walk longer, giving her time to think. Roxas told her the previous night to try and make friends, so she figured running into someone would probably best, instead of hunting people down. Sure, it might've been buying time until she actually had to make friends, but she needed the time to clear her head, to convince herself she was okay.. that she wasn't going to be putting Roxas in a pod anytime soon.
Namine ended up at the summit of the mountain, spotting a white haired girl sitting on a bench, curled up. She looked just as troubled as the blonde, so she figured it really wouldn't hurt to see if she was okay. Plus.. no one else was around, so if Namine started freaking out again, it'd be alright..
"Um.. excuse me?" She asked quietly, reluctantly sitting on the edge of the bench. She gave a weak smile, wringing her hands nervously. "Are you okay..?"

Nix jumped a little when she heard a soft voice catch her ear. Of all the times for someone to show up it had to be when she was in tears. Her first thought was to ignore the girl but that would've been rude right? The others keep telling the snowy haired woman that she needed to work on the way she treated her friends. So she had to take a moment to think before speaking. ".. I.. Um.. Not really. I guess you can say I.. Haven't been okay for a long time."
As strange as it sounded it was the truth. Nix looked at the darkness in her heart like an illness that had no cure. The woman lifted her head enough to look at Namine, tears still fresh in her icy blue eyes. She looked familiar.. Like that Kairi girl she met the other day. This one seemed more.. Meek? Maybe nervous was the word she was looking for. ".. I'm Nix.. Who are you?"

The flaxen haired girl rose an inquiring brow, tilting her head to the side slightly, trying to look at the girl. "What's wrong?" She asked quietly, but her tone indicated that she wouldn't pry. Experience helped in these cases. Nix finally lifted her head, glancing up at Namine, and the blonde immediately saw the tears in the girl's eyes, biting down on her lower lip. What had happened..? She took a look around, as if to see if anyone or anything was near. So.. was she scared? Or worried?
"Huh?" Namine immediately looked back at Nix, just barely catching the question. "O-oh.. I'm Namine. It's nice to meet you, Nix.." The blonde replied politely, relaxing a bit more into her seat so that she didn't appear as tense. She folded her hands in her lap neatly, then returning her gaze to the pretty white haired girl beside her. "You know.. if you wanna talk, I don't mind. I probably would understand, if you knew who I am.. was.. A-anyway, I don't mind listening if you need to vent.." She said, stammering for words every now and then, her gaze flickering from Nix to the area, then to Nix again.

Nix gave Namine a confused as she stumbled over her words after introducing herself. It sounded like she wanted to lend an ear and actually listen to what she had to say. "Who you was?.. That makes no sense. You're Namine, no one else right?" Then she realized she forgot to say something else before would very rude. "Oh um.. It's nice to meet you too by the way." The woman kept her legs folded up like they were as she thought about that to say. The snowy haired girl rested her chin on the tops of her knees and looked out at the view before them. The blond did say she would understand but was there a way she could possibly understand what was haunting her?
"Do you know anything about.. Darkness? I.. Can feel it. It's in my heart, slowly growing. It terrifies me.. I don't like to admit it but.. it does." Nix wasn't going to mention her Antiform to someone she just met. That was something she would much rather just hide until it reared its ugly head. Hopefully it wouldn't show up again any time soon.

"If only it were that simple.." Surely, only Sora's group, Roxas, and the Organization knew who she was now, right? That.. would probably be the opportunity to start anew. To set things right, to fix the things she'd broken in the past. Yes, yes, that could work. The girl was jerked from her train of thought and back into reality when Nix spoke again, and she gave a small, nervous laugh, returning her oceanic pair of eyes back to look at the white haired woman beside her. "Thanks."
The tiny smile had faded from the blonde's lips when Nix mentioned the darkness, and she let out a sigh, hugging herself as she was cold. A chill ran through her bones, the dream coming back into her mind. It took all her being to push the haunting thoughts away and stay focused on the scenario at hand. Namine knew all too well what Nix was talking about, and the blonde was working her brain to try and figure it out right then and there. She didn't seem like a nobody.. "I've worked with darkness more than I'd like to say," she admitted reluctantly, "I'm not sure.. but.. maybe it's a sort of anti form. Or maybe someone's corrupted you, just like Riku."
She mumbled, more to herself than the one beside her. She was deep in thought as she stared out at the scenery, trying to fit the puzzle pieces together. Sadly, too much was going on in her little head to do so right now. "You know.. I can try helping you. I can.. somewhat control darkness. Maybe I can help you learn to control it, too?" Namine offered quietly, glancing over at Nix.

Nix listened to Namine and kept her expression blank as she talked about the darkness. Little did the Nobody know that she got it right. She did have an Antiform and it was because corrupted her but that didn't mean she was going to let the blonde know that. "I know you mean well but.. I don't need help controlling it. Thanks for listening to me though and not running off yet." Lately it seemed like no one really wanted to be around her longer than a few minutes. Was she that foul a person? Was she really that rude to others and did not realize it? Before the snowy haired woman could say anything a sharp pain erupted in her chest as the markings on her face and arm dimly glowed white around the edges. Her eyes closed tightly as she wished the pain would fade away.
Suddenly Nix found herself standing in a pitch black world, she couldn't see anything around her. "Where.. am I?" She asked herself, unsure of how to react to this situation. One minute she was sitting next to Namine and then here she was. "Well well.. It seems my theory is correct. Darkness can serve as a pathway of some kind." Akito's voice rang out as he formed before her, that dark smirk on his face. "Before you do something stupid, like trying to attack me, why don't you listen? This is only happening in our minds since we are connected in a sense.. I wanted to ask you something.. Can you hear it? The coming end to the lights around you." The silvery haired woman seemed stumped, not knowing what the dark man was hinting at. He could see it on her face and it caused him to chuckle before speaking once more.
"A faint voice is calling out to your dear leader and it will lead you all to a barren land.. It will be there that I crush all of Protega's lights one by one in my very hands. Oh but don't worry, I won't kill you my little pet.. I want you to watch, to suffer as they die trying to protect you and that man." Akito stopped as he fell into a wicked fit of laughter. The mere thought of the look on Nix's face as her friends die was priceless and he looked forward to it. "I wonder.. How does it feel knowing that you have been given the omen of their death? Will they believe you or rush on ahead to their doom? heh.. Either way I do hope you come to the Keyblade Graveyard."
The man started to fade into the darkness around him but his last words echoed out, making her blood run cold.
"The Guild is where you belong.. Darkness is your sanctuary.. Remember that."
Nix's eyes shot open, seeing the green woods of the Land of Departure as a blessing. Her eyes were filled with fear as she curled up where she was, unable to bring herself to speak.
The Gifted Magi ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━ ━"Somewhere out there, there's this tree with star-shaped fruit, and the fruit represents an unbreakable connection..."
Mmm, that was a good nap. I wish I could have slept a bit longer, but such is the way of things I guess. Approaching the Summit, Aqua stretched her arms above her head and began to giggle a bit at the thought of her friends still sleeping after all this time. Oh Terra, Ven, what are you two thinking? I hope we can be together soon. Her thoughts were soon interrupted though as she approached the two women at the bench.
"Hello there. Are you both okay? Um, my name's Aqua. It's nice to make your acquaintances." Bowing low to the both of them, she quickly put on a kind smile and moved to stand near them. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything. It's been so long since I was here last that I just wanted to take in the sights again. This land is so precious to me. It's where we, my friends and I, I mean, lived and, well...we played and trained together here. This Summit was one of our favorite hangouts."
Realizing that she had started to ramble about something the two of them most likely weren't interested in, the blue-haired beauty giggled a bit and nodded at them. "I apologize. What are your names? Were you talking about anything special before I came here? Is there anything that I might be able to help you with?" Despite having returned to her home, things were so different for Aqua. There were so many new people, and so many of them appeared to be so busy. These were the first two people she had seen after awakening that didn't appear to be doing anything in particular, so she was eager to get to know them and learn what she could about the current situation and about this Protega group. Any information would have been helpful to her.

Namine chuckled weakly, letting a small shrug roll off of her shoulders. "I've learned to not run from darkness.."Sadly, the hard way. She thought quietly, her hands fidgeting as her sky blue eyes left Nix and looked to the scenery once more. She was silent for a good while, deciding to leave Nix be for a moment. Of course, slight panic and worry set in when the snow haired girl suddenly moved, curling up into a ball. The blonde teen just sat in silence, trying to read her expression and possibly figure out what had just happened.
Fear.
Instantly upon discovering the emotion on her features, she looked around, only to see a blue haired woman, she jumped, startled. "A-ah, I-I'm fine.. but.. but Nix..?" Namine stopped mid-sentence, glancing back at the girl beside her. She looked back to Aqua and shook her head, trying to maintain a natural-looking smile. "No, you're fine.." The teen couldn't help but smile ever so slightly when the newcomer talked about the memories that laid in this place, shrugging lightly. Honestly, she'd gotten much too used to rambling due to the Organization. And compared to some of the members, Aqua's few statements were nothing.
"My name's Namine.. It's nice to meet you." She replied quietly, looking up at the blunette, again shaking her head, only to be interrupted by a shrug. The flaxen haired girl kept looking over at Nix, trying to figure out what was going on. She felt helpless. She would've comforted the girl, if that was anywhere in her forte.. "Nix?"

Johnny leaned back on the bench, his arms resting on either side of him. Tossing his head back, the redhead stared up at the sky and let out a long, drawn out sigh. Not allowed on missions, doctors constantly watching me, friends worried about me... Frowning, he glanced down over the training grounds below and shook his head. I really upset some of 'em when I got hurt. But...do...
Grumbling to himself, the young man reached up and rubbed at his chest. The wounds still stung occasionally, but for the most part he had healed perfectly fine. "Do they really need to baby me like this? I'm alive, I'm healthy...I didn't die. But those...those people. We can't just let them get away with everything they've done. I can't believe they're forcing me to sit here while the others...the others keep going out and fighting. Rufio and his team took on one of the Organization members and actually injured him. Reno and Rude took on what's-his-name and managed to end the fight in a draw. But me? I got my a** kicked and now I'm stuck here doing nothing. Do...do I even belong?" Lowering his head, Johnny placed his hands in his lap and groaned. I hate this feeling of worthlessness. This sucks!

Ryuu whistled as he walked to the summit but stopped when he saw Johnny. "Yo!" Ryuu waved a bit walking over to him and smiled before noticing Johnny had his head lowered. "Hey, Johnny, you feeling alright? You don't seem too happy, if you want we can go pull a prank on Colm or something?" He frowned concerned at his friends mood and not knowing what was causing it, all he wanted to do was fix it though.
"No matter how dark it gets, I know I'm not alone."

Johnny raised his head slightly and glanced at Ryuu as he neared. Smirking slightly at the offer to prank Colm or another member of Protega, the redhead let his gaze lower again. Shrugging, he chose to reply in a fairly broken tone of voice. "I've been stuck here ever since that last mission. I spent nearly two whole days in the damn medical wing before I woke up. And...and I'm still not fully recovered."
Groaning, he leaned back on the bench again and stared over at Ryuu. "I feel worthless. Like I don't have a place here. But when I take the time to think about it...this was only what? My first or second mission? There was no way we could've seen all of that coming. The leader of the Guild, Organization XIII...hell, I fought that guy with pink hair and his little pet and I did an okay job until I got my a** handed to me. Tch, he didn't even need to try. My worst wounds were inflicted by him. And then there was this blond guy from Organization XIII. Seemed to think I'd be fun to 'play' with. Whatever the hell he meant by that, I don't think I want to know. All I know is that I'm tired of being stuck here doing absolutely nothing. I'll never get strong enough to help people if I'm stuck here being babysat by Sano and the others!" Punching the bench beside him, Johnny soon regretted the decision and clutched at his chest. "Ugh. Damn it all! I...I don't want to be so weak. I want to help. Everyone's going out and risking their lives..."
