"Oh Jac-" the rest of Mandy's startled curse was cut off as she suddenly found her feet yanked out from under her as a vine wrapped around her ankle, pulling her away.
Vaguely she heard Doc's comment and someone remarking about whether they should help rescue her- and they very much should, before she was pulled out of ear shot and the sounds of her being bodily dragged over very rough ground took over.
If she wasn't being kidnapped to Jack knows where by Jack knows what she probably would have been in love with the forest she found herself in but instead she simply started colorfully cursing and with a feat of strength curl herself up enough to start tearing at the vine with her claws.
Not that it did much, what was this thing made of, steel?
"HELP!"

Johan turned to regard the purple draconic boil, but wasn't able to return his greeting since Jack knows something had to go wrong. In this case, a plant, Steve by name apparently, had grabbed onto one of the students, and was trying to drag her inside the greenhouse. Trying and succeeding.
Rescue her? Johan was getting a sinking feeling. This felt an awful lot like how they were always left to themselves when danger threatened. Christmas Town, the Island, and now class? The Professor was nowhere in sight. So, Johan had the feeling they were expected to do something about Steve. Leaving the ghoul to fend for herself was hardly fair, after all.
Johan stood up, grabbed his chair, and ran over to the ghoul. Jack knows, he wasn't about to grab her with his bare hands.
"Grab on!" he yelled, holding the legs out to her.

"Hi Tess!" Astra called out while she was pulling out her textbook and began to flip through the pages, re-viewing the things she had learned in their last lesson. However in the next few minutes she became engrossed in the information contained, and wondered about the various ways she could use the herbs listed.
She was re-reading the text about a plant called 'cress' (a ward against serpents eh?), when a high pitched cry interrupted her thoughts and she looked up to see one of the students being pulled into the greenhouse by a vine.
...So Thats what the writing on the board meant!
The fairy stared at the student as she cried out for help, frowning at the sight and wondering exactly what kind of plant 'steve' was. She didn't have a clue, but regardless something had to be done before the student was eaten.
Thankfully she wasn't the only one with this plan, as a student with white hair had was using his chair for the student to grab onto. Wanting to assist as well, she jumped off her chair and flew over to mandy, hovering for a minute before landing and making a grab at mandy's t-shirt in hopes of trying to at least stop her from being pulled away. She didn't use a chair since she didn't think she would be able to lift it, and there wasn't any other items nearby to use. In the event that the plant tried to grab her...she hoped that she might be able to fly away before it did.

Ooc I would seem ever one has taken notice though not all have helped. Well Students it's time to help out <3 With combination of pure brilliance of mind and a whole lot of luck you'll ll take down Steve. And in the Process you'll find your elusive teacher. You just have to brave the Green house. The Dealio: Steve is Cranky. He's in a bad mood and at this time it cannot be explained why. So what you all shall do is utilize your books (Conveniently extras are located at the back of the classroom) and all the lovely herbs that are found in the green house to defeat Steve. Once you reach Dice RoliingPLZ Note RNG has a different Cool Down Time You can only roll every 5 Mins You are rolling till you get 100 Hit Points Steve will not be attacking you personally to make you lose Health If you reach over 100 Points only 100 will be counted There will be bonus's for creativity There Will be Bonus for unique Choice (Meaning an unchosen Herb Choice ex. Seth uses Belladonna (Bonus Points) (5mins Later) Seth uses Belladonna (Broken Record much?) or Seth uses Belladonna (Bonus) 5 mins Later Riely uses Belladonna (No Bonus) Exemptions: Once the Whole list has been used a new count will start in which their will be bonuses. Malodore swore under its breath and plunged into the greenhouse. The humidity felt like a hot, heavy blanket draped over it. Not its favorite thing in the world, but it wasn't going to leave Mandy to Steve's tender mercies!
Praise Steve, indeed. Ugh.
The plague doctor jabbed at the first vine it saw, only to come up short as it realized the vine belonged to a perfectly harmless plant. Feh! Where was the damn thing? The humidity was fogging up its lenses and making it hard to see.

Her attempts at trying to pull Mandy to safety didn't seem to be working, so Astra thought it was time to get to the root of the problem. Quite literally. Following behind malodore she flew into the Green house and was impressed by the many different plants and flowers that were located here. It was amazing! While she was quite familiar with plants, there were many here that she had no idea where they came from or what they were for. Oh well nevermind that, it was time to find 'steve'.
She had begun to look for the illusive vine, but instead found herself looking at a sea of green. Damn, it would be easier if she knew what she was looking for!

Mandy didn't think twice when the chair legs where offered to her and with a lunge she was just able to grab onto a leg before Steve dragged her too far from them. Her arms felt like popping out of their sockets and her ankle burned as it was tugged on but it was actually Astra's efforts that helped her despite what the fairy might think, the little tug loosened the grip on her ankle just enough that when she next kicked her leg it slipped, taking her boot with it and letting her crash to the forest floor.
"Urg, thanks for the help, both of you." Mandy said, looking at Johan and then Astra, tentatively putting some weight on her sore ankle whilst watching the angry tentacle wave around her boot.
"Um.... I don't think it's going to leave." she sounded rather worried at this, especially when it dropped her boot and started looking like it was going to go after other students.
"I wonder how far put of here this thing can get...." if it could get through the glass what was to stop it from getting into the corridors.
Yup, defiantly looked like they'd have to stop it. The board had said Survive.
Just... What where they supposed to stop it with? Her claws hadn't done a lot of good.
....Wait this was Botany class right? And there where textbooks in the classroom.
"I'll be right back I'm grabbing one of the textbooks!" Mandy called out, running awkwardly thanks to her one booted and sore ankles state.

Hasuko timidly followed behind Malodore. She didn't want to be here but she couldn't hide behind her desk and let that student get eaten either.
Especially not on her first day at Amityville! How could she write that in her letter to her mother? 'Dear Mother, today in botany class I watched a carnivorous plant eat a fellow student. It was most educational.'
Hasuko sighed and tentatively poked at some bushes.... only to have a vine whip out and grab her by the wrist, pulling her in. "Kyaaaaaaaaaa!!!!" she shrieked.

As astra moved throughout the greenhouse trying to locate the plants, she heard another shriek and saw that a green looking...duck student had been caught as well. This wasn't good...
She put her search on hold to fly out of the greenhouse, picking up her textbook just as mandy went to fetch a copy for herself. At least with this she might be able to figure out what to do if she was able to find steve.

Levi had been at the back of the room, picking up a textbook and flipping a few pages, when the commotion began. As soon as she realized there was a few student being attacked, she tucked the held book under her arm and sprinted for the crowded opening. The tatzel sprang above heads and tried to get ahead of the short ghoul's captured body.
Jackdarnit! I'll try ta find tha critter before it ...well, before it gets ya, ghouly!
Find the source, find the solution... but what a jungle it was in this compacted space of a greenhouse. he plants here were foreign to her for the most part. Randomly attempting to follow the thick tendril that held onto Mandy, Levi found... well, Steve. Wide-eyed, she knew this was going to be a rough one. Yep. This called for a rolling up of sleeves. She hadn't realized at all that, by the time she found Steve, Mandy was already freed.

Hasuko squirmed and tried to free herself from the vine but its grip was too strong. The vine wrapped itself up her arm, pulling her harder. "Help!" she cried.

Back in the greenhouse, Astra could still hear the student cry out for help, but found it was very hard to find her in this dense vegetation. Her forest home had nothing on the amount of plants here! She flew deeper into the greenhouse trying to locate the student from the sounds of her voice, and managed to spot something green mixed in with blue - the top of hasuko's head.
From her position she could see that the vine was curled around the students wrist, but more-so then that she could now follow the vine back to it's stating point. Checking that the other wasn't in immediate danger, she then flew past and followed the thick vince until she reached...steve
...Damn, that was ne hell of a plant.
She didn't get to close though, keeping a good distance away so she could land and place the book on the floor, Now it was time to find something that she could use against him!

Hasuko flailed about, trying desperately to stop from being pulled further into the bushes. Somehow, she managed to dig in her webbed feet into the loamy soil of the greenhouse and heave backwards.
All kappa are surprisingly strong so long as the water dish atop their heads remain full; Hasuko was no exception. Now that she wasn't off-balance and had proper footing, Hasuko was able to pull against the vine, finally wrenching her arm free.
She raced back towards the path back to Malodore and the rest of the students.

The white-haired ghoul tried to call out to her classmates, but the writhing of tendrils overtook her voice. Looking around, at least some others had found their way over. But what to do now?...
Gotta slow it down. The way this plant was looking, it meant business...of some sort. Surely there was something to hold it off till their professor arrived. Levi scanned the room with haste and came across something familiar. Belladonna! Hey! Wasn't this... one of those magical-type plants? Yeah. She'd seen it before in the wood. Just never had much use of it till now. Flipping quickly to the page in her textbook on Belladonna, Levi noted its potential for magic: Suppresses... hopefully it'll suppress whatever ya got feelin' in that gutt'a yers, fella!
With this, Levi yanked up the Belladonna closest to her and gave it a heavy throw into what looked like an opening into Steve. The mass of green writhed and then mellowed in what the ghoul could only assume was an effective hit.

"Okay..how about this one...no, not that...this one?" The fairy scanned through each page, flipping one way then back the other as she hurried to find a herb that would be useful. It was hard to know though which one would be most effective. There were many plants listed, but each had a different and varying effect, and some of them where just to dangerous to use. Now that she thought of it, would she get into trouble for using plants that had 'professor use only' marked next to them.
Well, It wasn't like cadmus was here to tell her not to...
Her eyes soon zoomed in on one particular plant, the devils herb. "Aha! that might work!". The plant worked by creating a illusion, so hopefully she could use it to confuse Steve? Her idea sounded great, but re-reading the description it said that it needed to be burnt with another plant. She shook her head to herself; starting a fire in here would be the stupidest thing to do. Not to mention there was nothing here she could use to start said fire.
She looked up again at the mass of writing tentacles. There wasn't enough time to sit there and figure it what to do! she would just have to try it and see if it worked. She hovered off the ground and looked through the nearby plants, quickly spying what looked like the Devils herb, and grabbed a generous amount before flying as close as she dared to steve and throwing it at him before making a quick retreat to see what would happen.
Sadly, the plant continued to writhe and move as it it was unaffected. It seemed the devils herb was ineffective without the extra ingredients...
