She couldn't take it anymore! Lourne and his stupid sunglasses and all those secrets. She needed a getaway. So she called up some half-blood friends and they all met up in Houston. Adara was closest to their destination. Luckily, her friend Jean as a daughter of Hermes and her mother was a big rich business woman so she had all the money they needed. The four of them flew first class. Adara sat setting up reservations. Her charming voice was perfect over the phone to get them any reservations they wanted. Meanwhile Jean was on her laptop getting them hotel rooms at the best hotel the could find, the Lotus Casino and Hotel. Roy, son of Apollo was napping and Devin, son of Athena was reading up on how to count cards. In no time at all they had arrived.
The group got out of the plane and Jean walked off, telling them to wait for a sec. In no more than ten minutes she had returned, smiling with keys in hand. Then, she led them outside where a Spyker D8 sat waiting for them. With whoops of excitement they piled into the car and followed the directions on the website straight to the Lotus Casino and Hotel. All four of them gaped and rushed out of the car, staring up at the huge building. Bright flashing lights were all around them as they walked into the building. It looked like a pretty sweet, normal casino. The moment they walked in the door a bell hop smiled and rushed forward to greet them. "Welcome to the Lotus Casino, Miss Williams! Here is you complementary Lotus Balance Card! Filled to the brim with money just for your use in the casino." Adara stared at the gold card she was offered. Taking it slowly, gazing at the sparkling plastic. She looked up at the others and smiled. "Let's have some fun!" she exclaimed. Adara handed off her bags to the bell hop and pulled out her phone, updating her facebook status. 'only just walked in and already loving the Lotus Casino! I might never leave haha!' Then she shoved her phone back into her pocket and rushed forward.
Almost instantly she was swarmed by a group of women dressed in greenish blue dresses who ushered her into a dressing room. "W-wait a sec whats going on?!" Adara asked and one of the women smiled at her, "You'll always look your best in the Lotus Casino!" Then, before she knew it she was out of her jeans and t-shirt and in a sexy strapless dress. After that she was thrust through a curtain and was standing next to her friends who were also looking the best they ever had. Jean was wearing a dress that looked like gold was just drapped around her and shimmered when she walked. Roy wore a sleek black suit with a sky blue shirt and gold tie, and Devin wore a navy suit complete with dark green shirt and matching tie.
Once again they tried to proceed but more women in the blue-green dresses came forward with trays. "Please, try a lotus flower, they're our specialty dish." the woman looked at Adara with sparkling green eyes and a smile to rival Aphrodite's (Adara would know). Adara smiled and took one with a thanks. She looked around to the others and shrugged, taking a bite. Immediately a sweet citrusy flavor came over her. All of her senses burst with excitement as the juices washed over her tongue. The lights seemed brighter, colors more defined. The music grew louder, calling her. Adara smiled and ran onto the dance floor as Poker Face (MOVIE REFERENCE 8D) started playing and began dance. A guy standing next to her, the most handsome guy she'd ever seen gave her a smile that made her melt and put his hands on her waist, dancing with her.
