Alnette had not noticed Tarma. She was too focused on the book. It was far too enjoyable at the time.

Discord made a somewhat theatrical appearance, appearing out of a thick fog that suddenly appeared within the library. He appeared right beside his baroness.
"Good evening, Alnette," he greeted her.

"Charles?" Alnette blinked, looking up from her book. "Isn't it a little early for you to be here? What time is it?"

His skull rattled, laughing at Alnette. Discord found it humorous, and somewhat adorable, that Alnette could not grasp time at the moment. He then pointed to a nearby grandfather clock, which told her what time it was.

The cloaked figure cursed under her breath when Discord appeared. This was going to complicate things by a lot. Carefully easing her grip on the string, she held the arrow, retreating behind one of the massive bookshelves to wait for one of them to leave.

Once she glanced at the clock, her eyes widened in surprise. "It's this late?! I've been here since I woke up..." She laughed. "Well, at least it passed the day in a constructive manner." She left a bookmark in the page she was reading before closing it, and setting it aside. "And how are you, my love?"

"My day has been incomplete," Discord said in a low, angry rasp. "Until now. I may not have flesh, but I do enjoy seeing you." There was a somewhat whimsical, playful tone to his voice that only a few could recognize. As Discord spoke, he glanced around the library. If he was not mistaken, this was the first time he had explored this part of the castle.

"I can say the same for you, love. Even when you lack flesh, the high point of my day is seeing you." She smiled warmly. Though she sounded just a bit drowsy, as anyone who had spent the entire day reading would, she seemed reasonably alert. "Have you ever been in here before?"

Discord did not immediately answer Alnette's question. Instead, he looked over a few books on the shelf. The lich was quite impressed with the selection of books in his baroness' collection.
It was then that Discord sensed another presence. He initially dismissed it. This castle was full of servants. Ignoring it for, his eye sockets fixed back on Alnette.
"I have not been in here before."

Izual entered the library, after having exhausted all the other spots Alnette could be. "Alnette!!~" he called out, of course taking no care to lower his voice in a quiet, peaceful place like a library. As he entered, he looked about nosily, then found her in light conversation with Discord, and of course invited himself right over to join in.
"Oh, Buona Sera Sorella. I was looking for you. What is this place, so many books. Oh, Buona sera to you too, Discord." Izual said, politely.

"I'm a bit surprised, this is one of my favorite rooms. I could have sworn I showed you before, but I'm most likely mistaken." She chuckled. "If anything catches your interest, feel free to take it with you to read it. I know you'd return any book you borrow."
She yawned, stretching. "It's a good place for peace and quiet, too. Not to mention, there's a secret passage from my room to here, so I can get here easily."
Alnette blinked when she heard Izual. "Hello little brother." She smiled. "What brings you to my library?"

"It seems as though we have company," Discord chattered with amusement. Izual had joined them. The lich was not averse to the vampire's company.

Tarma cursed under her breath again when Izual showed himself. She was going to have to abandon the plan entirely and just return later. However, that would prove to be difficult.

"Oh, I came here because I couldn't find you anyplace else around here...This was the last place to look." Izual explained, with a grin playing on his lips. "This is such a nice place, I would be here all the time if I knew it existed before!~" he said, with a chuckle. He smiled at Discord, and nodded.
