Gah! Luck has not been on my side today. I finally did get my Lycan finished though.

Appearance: Rust colored streaks run like tear stains from the inner corner of each of her eyes down to the outer tips of her nostrils. Otherwise her coloration is mottled rust and gray on her back and white on her underbelly. In her human form, she has very fair skin with rust freckles. Her hair is silvery, shoulder length, and cut in choppy layers. When in human form, only her golden eyes hint at her wolven nature. Blue and bronze beads are woven into her hair/mane, and she has three piercings in her left upper earlobe, and two on her right, crafted from silver and bronze. When not in battle, Yuma wears a dyed blue leather halter top with white and gold tribal symbols across the chest and edges. Around her waist, she wears a block woven sarong of blue, purple, green and gold, fastened at her hip with a bronze brooch. Over this she wears an ornate leather belt with gilded patterns. She carries a heavy spear with a large obsidian point, decorated with rabbit skins and feathers. Like most Lycan, she usually goes barefoot.
Personality: Yuma is outgoing and friendly, always mature in social situations and, as is both the blessing and bane of her people, very trusting, and quick to forgive and dismiss wrongs. She is very athletic and enjoys spending most of her free time roaming the forest. She acts as a big sister to the young pups in the tribe, and when she has no other work to do, often joins them in their games. Her carefree behavior has earned her both praise and reprimands form her tribesmen, praise from those who enjoy her company and lightheartedness, and scoldings from the elders who feel that a warrior of Fenrir should conduct herself in a more dignified manner. Her behavior aside, she is one of the most favored young warriors in the tribe.
Biography:Yuma is the second born child of clan leader Soumma Dawnrunner and his mate Renja. She was raised along with her three brothers and two sisters in a Fenrir village deep within the forest near the foothills of the mountains. Her life was fairly uneventful until the day when the first Nosferatu surveyors entered the area, eager to harvest the coal that lay deep in the foothills. They brought with them hunters to try and drive out the Lycan tribes in the area. Though Yuma's village fought bravely, eventually the growing vampire presence was too much for the tribesmen to handle, and the tribe was forced to abandon their home. The village relocated to the edge of a lake which, by all accounts, was a better location than the previous one. Still, Yuma never forgot the terror and heartbreak the Nosferatu cause her tribe, and swore that when she came of age, she would help rid the forest of their foul presence.
Yuma grew up to be a forest runner, scouting the surrounding forest for any sign of danger. The band she runs with has successfully warded of all who might disrupt the tribes peaceful way of life for over twenty years. These days she also works as an instructor in the ways of herbalism and hunting, and sometimes acts as a teacher to the younger pups in the tribe. Despite her development, she still has much to learn before the Elders consider her a mature member of the tribe.
Notes: Yuma was bitten by a poisonous snake when she was seven years old, and the bite proved nearly fatal. As a result of the poison, she walks with an almost undetectable limp in her back left paw, and is slightly slower than her peers. She has also developed an irrational fear of snakes.
I also agree with what Ikken said about playing too many characters. It's why I try and keep mine separated in Alvirad. However, I have never had a problem with it before (granted the largest number I have ever run in one roleplay is like... five... as opposed to Ikken's 50 razz ) so I think I can make it work here too. However, I am willing to cede to Teddos's request. But remember, he has to annoy the piss out of Morena. I am still going to type up Renault's profile for kicks.
Am I the first Lycan Character?? >_>... <_<...

Yes, you are the first lycan. Kick ronyo for me, I think he's totally forgotten about this.
By all means, make Renault, I think the way that I've been fitted into the situation, my character has just been inserted rather than replacing him. If you think it would work out well, and wouldn't be overextending yourself (COUGH COUGH) go for it.
I'll make sure to annoy the piss out of Morena, regardless.
Oh, also, just a small note about eyes that everyone has kept well to so far. I've been meaning to make mention of it for a while:
Vampires always have unnatural eye colors. It can be just about anything, but is most often shades of red. The eyes look more human after they've fed, but if the vampire is hungry, they glow with supernatural thirst.
Lycans, on the other hand, have a more 'autumn-y' eye color. Various golds, ambers, rusts, bronzes, etc. are the most common colors. Rather than looking like a normal eye, Lycan eyes always appear fully dilated with a thick rim of striking color around the pupil. While this gives them fantastic eyesight, it's a dead giveaway in human form.

I just want to get starrrteeeed. I mean, surely we've got enough characters to at least start dinking around IC?
Oh, and I totally call lavender eyes. Just because lavender is not a color you usually associate with the human eyeball. But then, it's not a human's eyeball, now, is it? Edited his profile from "deep reddish-brown" to lavender. xd

http://people.csail.mit.edu/jaffer/Color/M.htmlavender looks more like asphalt in the color dictionary. Go for it. But I think you meant to have more of a Wistaria. I can't decide on what color to use for mine. I like the cadmium series of colors.

Appearance: The look of a young man who is much older at heart. His face is ever-so-slightly bony and angular, yet very smooth. He has the face of someone in his late 20s, but his sunken eyes and thick, serious eyebrows betray the facade. He has the familiar tall, lanky appearance of a vampire... however, he has developed a habitual slouch which makes him appear far shorter than he truly is. He has wiry black hair down to the bottom of his ears. His eyes are a deep auburn color, very close to black. He is somewhat anemic in appearance and performance, and is often correspondingly weak, as he rarely brings himself to feed.
Personality:
Biography: He was born to a pair of high-blooded Lasombra nobles. His parents died in the Holocaust, however. His memory of his life before the armageddon is hazy at best. Though he was not killed, he suffered greatly from the radiation poisoning. Because of his strong vampire regenerative abilities, he was able to recuperate. However, it caused irreperable damage to his brain, killing off most of his original memory cells, essentially giving him incurable amnesia. He does, of course, remember many fragmented pieces of his life before that time, though most of them are so jumbled that he can't make sense of any of it. The effects of this have left characteristics such as absentmindedness, scatterbrain, daydreaming, and mindblanks. While these are common among Lasombra, they are generally found in vampires much younger than him. By 200, most Lasombra can shake off the more crippling mental symptoms of their curse.
He has since taken residence in the 'Red City', living a bit restlessly under the constant annoyance of the Baali clan, who take offense to the presence of nobles from outside clans. He rarely leaves his home, however, and spends weeks at a time poring over books, schematics, or machines in his workshop or study. Forgetful of the world around him, he may go days without moving a muscle. Often he is not even thinking about what is before him, but rather caught in fragments of the past. Often he sits for so long that he will collapse from lack of blood.
8 years ago his previous housekeeper died of old age. 3 years ago, he finally got around to hiring a new one. Clover was the first person he managed to find, and opted for the quickest solution. Luckily, she is an admirable servant. Of his large mansion on the outskirts of the Vampire Ward, he only uses 2 or 3 rooms, giving the girl free reign over the rest of the house. Her responsibility is essentially to take all responsibility for him, like a mother. She keeps the mansion from falling into disrepair, keeps the cobwebs out, keeps the cellar stocked (mostly for her own survival), and oversees his finances whenever he is required to pay tax contributions to the city. Furthermore, she is his only connection with the outside world. She is the only person he really encounters on a regular basis. In addition, she takes the responsibility to keep the two councils he controls from collapsing, sending telegraph orders to his numerous offices across the world.

Dude, it's not that complicated. You don't need a list of four million colors. Just Google "lavender". It's a flower. The color is named after the flower.

Your so-called 'dictionary of colors' doesn't include a single primary color by its most well-known name. In fact, it doesn't include any colors of the rainbow by their traditional names, except for indigo, which no one loves anyway. Personally, if it only includes one of the colors of the rainbow, and the most obscure one at that, I don't think it can be termed a "color dictionary" at all. More like an "a**l-retentive and arbitrary cataloging of obscure shades of colors which goes so far as to exclude the traditional terms for basic colors and instead labels them with such grandiose terms as 'ball lake,' 'b*****d saffron,' and 'artillery.'" For chrissakes, people, it's RED.Therefore, I stand by my original opinion: I heart Google.

Actually, according to the basis of color theory, primary colors are more like categories than specific shades. Therefore they're not included in the dictionary.

I repeat: I stand by my original opinion, I denounce your 'dictionary', and my character's eyes are LAVENDER.

Well, the color displayed in the post above isn't exactly what I was thinking of. Like I said, Google "Lavender" and switch over to the image search. The majority of pictures there are of the lavender flower, which is the color I want.
And just WTFZORZ is MIT? 
EDIT: Besides which, you know, it shouldn't be a problem anyway; you did, after all, say that vampires always have 'unusual' eye colors, and how many people do you know with gray eyes? It happens, I know, but not frequently.

There are actually people who have violet eyes (the color they refer to as "violet" actually looks like a dark shade of periwinkle, with an obvious purple hue). I went to school with a boy that had them. Supposedly Elizabeth Taylor had them too when she was young, but they turned dark blue as she got older.
I am almost done with the backstorys and Renault's profile. I belive Teddo said we could start posting? I'll start with my Lycan tomorrow.

Ok, sorry for the long lapse, if you read the Alvirad OOC you’ll know why I’ve been away for the last few days. As for before that well…C++ gets on my nerves and having to learn the math behind it makes my brain hurt. I truly wish to Rp in this forum so let me see if I can get started. The red city is the start so I guess all the Lycon style should be available. The forest and mountain maybe a bit more so….ok I’ll pull my Lycan up…if someone wishes to chime in before I post him with a correction on what I said please do.
