His ears turned forward again at the question but he didn't move for several moments. Then, at last, he crawled forward, closing the space between them by half and, reaching as far forward as he could, put his staff on the ground. He pushed it to Ontaros until he couldn't get it any closer without drawing nearer himself and promptly sat back to stare up the man warily and yet eagerly.

Ontaros nods a moment and then starts to rummage through his robes 'looking' for more water. He summons another bottle, colder than the bottle before and hands it to Tryan with a smile. He was very glad he could help, even if there were still some issues with trust.

Tryan was practically beside himself at the site of the water, his tail even wagged, after a fashion, the feathers sweeping dirt and leaves back and forth like an odd broom. Taking the water reverently, he latched onto the cork awkwardly with the side of his beak and gingerly worked it free before guzzling the water down in a matter of seconds. Carefully returning the cork to it's place, he returned it in the same way he'd put his staff at Ontaros's feet.

Ontaros smiles and slowly takes the bottle and returns it to his robes. He thinks a moment and he reaches back into his robes and pulls out a few baubles from it. The way he'd pulled out the cork reminded him of a crow he'd seen once that had flown in and picked up a coin in the middle of a street. He hoped that Tryan might also enjoy them. "Friends?" He sat them down and scooted them forwards towards Tryan, doing it much the same way he had to keep things comfortable.

Tryan watched warily, leaning away a little as the man pushed the items in his direction, but then leaned forward and looked at them in interest. Turning his head to the side a little, he focused on the items with his left eye and then his right. He moved to poke at them, but suddenly stopped and looked up at the man uncertainly. Once convinced nothing about his posture was threatening, the creature picked up the things and inspected them one at a time, mouth parted a sliver and the soft corners of his mouth upturned very slightly in something vaguely like a smile. After several long moments admiring them, he turned his attention back to Ontaros, waiting for some indication from the man as a clue for what he should do next.

Ontaros thought a moment but he honestly couldnt figure out a way to convey to Tryan he should keep them, so he just decided that he simply wouldnt take them back if offered. They were simply some trinkets he managed to pick up from town. Thinking a moment more he nods and slowly stands up. Closing his eyes he conveyed a picture of Tryan and Ontaros walking up to a house, Ontaros opening the door and the two of them stepping in. He looked questioningly to Tryan, hoping that the idea wasn't lost.

Tryan didn't know where thought came from at first, but it wasn't entirely unpleasant. Nervous all the same, he worried over trusting this man enough to follow him. It could be a trap, he didn't have any trouble imagining the man taking him captive either to sell or put to work or any number of things. Then again, even if it was this man's intention to take him, if the plan did not involve then getting rid of him, this man at least seemed to have an abundance of water that he didn't mind sharing, and Tryan really liked that. Finally deciding to take this risk, rather than all those involved with him attempting to survive undiscovered out here, he attempted to bring back the thought to his memory. It came back to the front of his mind somewhat fragmented, more a collection of images of the house and them walking together that played in random orders and occasonally interrupted by other thoughts. Mind made up though, he clutched the trinkets tightly in one fist and got back up to his hands and feet, apparently ready to go somewhere.

Ontaros smiled very broadly. "You will meet others there." He closes his eyes and shows a door opening and there being other people on the other side. He focuses in on one person specificly, Cinder, showing Tryan his similar traits and also speaking his name aloud. In the vision everyone walks up to ontaros as he walks through the door smiling and greeting him warmly. "Friends"

Tryan seemed to be growing somewhat accustomed to the odd form of communication, but grew nervous at the idea of seeing lots of people. He was afraid of what their reaction to him would be, and it was rather obvious. A jumble of thoughts about fear, pain, and protection faught for priority in his chaotic mind as he contemplated running away or following Ontaros to the house.

Ontaros slowly walked over to Tryan and crouched down beside him. Gently and slowly he placed a hand on his shoulder and nodded with a reassuring smile. As he did so a door of very ordinary manor appeared infront of them and he looked at it. Looking back to Tryan he did his best to judge his reaction, hoping it wouldnt be a negative one.

Tryan watched him warily, his ears flattening against his hair as the man came near and his breathing became nervous and shallow. He cringed and shivered at the contact, but when nothing came of it, he opened his eyes again and stared at the man. Following the man's gaze, he was startled to find the doorway infront of them. He sucked in a breath in surprise and held it for several moments, not moving a muscle as he stared wide eyed at the door, but with Ontaros's hand on his shoulder, he didn't move away.

Ontaros waves his hand ever so slightly and the doorway opens up to a very wide open room, lit by candle light with stone floor and a very high cieling. He gestured for Tryan to follow him as he stepped inside, once through the door he turned around and watched.

Tryan approached the door hesitantly, his trinkets still held tightly in one hand. He picked up his forgotten staff as he passed it, so both hands were occupied as he crawled up to the door. Upon reaching it, he used it to help pull himself upright and inspected it cautiously before carefully stepping over the threshold, where he stood, leaning on his staff and took turns looking between Ontaros, the room, and the open doorway.

Tryan half lept, half glided through the a portal from the top of the castle to land with a quiet thump in the underbrush on the other side. Shaking a few stray pine needles from his fur, he looked around, orienting himself, before turning to watch for Ontaros, waiting anxiously for the man to follow.
