((Damn, Merc, leave it to you to get the ball rolling again. Good job!))
Mairyela finally reached the upper level where she knew she would find the Keeper. With the number of times she had been there in the last couple months, she could probably find the office in her sleep, without the use of her senses. Gripping her skirts tightly, she felt the slight weight of the Amyrlin's ring in hidden within the folds.
Reaching the heavy doors, she made sure to knock as loudly as possible; no doubt the Keeper would be deep in thought. They all were.
((Merc, I just got my old account back, the one that was hacked, and I'm thinking of transferring everything back. I'll let you know what's going on as I go, but I changed my old account name to Anzu_Tenshi.))

((Okay, just to let everyone know, I'm not going to be active between May 2nd, through to the 22nd. I'm not going to be in the country, and I won't have access to the internet (going to Europe! So excited!). Also, I have managed to trade everything over to my old account, now called Anzu_Tenshi, so when I get back, I'll begin RPing using that account, instead of this one (that's why my avvy's naked >.<). I'm hoping my request to rejoin will have been approved by then. I am also giving all of you the power to RP my character if you need to, as I don't want to hold up the plot. I'll see you all again on the 23rd probably, since jet lag is a real bummer. Later!))

Mercury was roused out of her brooding by a knocking on the door. She didn't even bother asking who it was, which was unusual for her. She supposed that this particular time, it didn't matter, since almost everyone and everything seemed to be bringing new information. It was Mairyela, and Mercury greeted her, and asked her to come in. No doubt this was about that eerie howl from earlier. Or else that odd letter.
"Whats the matter Mairyela? Any idea on what happened earlier with the howl?"

The warder trainees were baffled as to the disappearance of their teachers. Though they were curious, the other Gaidin were keeping them busy. Meanwhile, a few novices, who had brought tea to the Swordmaster's office, the Tower Guard, and a few people outside the Swordmaster's office were shocked as to what sounded like muffled shouting coming from inside.

There were many extra chairs in the Swordmaster's rooms, and all of them were occupied. On one side of the table sat a group of envoys, and the other side seated the Tower's Swordmaster, and other prominent Gaidin. A servant was setting three more chairs.
Two novices entered and set two flasks of wine between the group. As they turned to leave the groups who were scowling at the table or else staring at each other, the Swordmaster stopped them.
"Novice, go and find Hawk Gaidin, and ask him to come here." As the girls turned to go, another Gaidin interrupted that he had heard Markis had returned, so to ask him to come as well. The pair curtsied and hurried off to try and find the two men. Some minutes later, each novice had managed to find one of them. "Markis Gaidin," "Hawk Gaidin," "The Swordmaster has requested you to meet him urgently."

Hawk finished with his routine training when he heard a sudden and eerie howl. Just for a moment he could feel and sense the taint of the dark one. He was just buckeling his sword and about to go to find Merc when a novice came and ask him to go to the swordmasters office. By the look on her face it seems to be urgent. He nods at the novice and let her lead the way. By the time he reached there he see Markis walking not far from the other direction also with a novice with him. He nods at him and walks in to the room where he was called to attend.

Alina was watching her Warders talk, and thinking about what to do with them when suddenly she heard a high pitched howl. Lifting her head she raised her hand and said "Stop!" they both stopped and looked at her. "you hear that? Something is amiss, the wolves..." she waved her hand vaguly to the north and then her eyes glazed over. "I must...go see..." what she must go see, she didnt really know. But she had to go see Somthing. She got up and made her way out of the Yellow Quarters and into the main commons, her two warders trailing behind her.
((ffs i dunno if either of them will read this for a while lol))

((First post using my old account!))
Mairyela entered, and gave a quick curtsey. "I'm sorry, but I know nothing about where that howl had come from. It sounded like the wolves, and they sounded...distressed." She paused a moment, "But, if I may be blunt, there's something that I need to ask you." Without so much as a pause, she reached into her skirts, and drew out the Amyrlins ring. Holding her hand out, the ring nestled in her palm, she frowned. "It was found in the Training Pitch, and delivered to me by a Tower Guard. I have to know. Is the Amyrlin alright?"

Hawk and Markis were quickly motioned into two empty chairs. The Swordmaster signalled for the envoys to begin.
"For the past one week, there have been attacks on our sea routes. And I don't mean bandits or raiders." He paused, as if not sure how wise it was to proceed, but then continued. "It was channeling. Aes Sedai." Here there were a few glares of disapproval at them. "It cannot be denied; those who survived saw women, and I doubt normal housewives can throw fireballs..."
"On occasion, we managed to get onto the ship to try and fight them. The Aes Sedai did not bother fighting us themselves but continued to attack our ships. We were being combated by a group of men who were very skilled with the swords, and seemed to be protecting the women. I make no accusations, but the men were wearing hoods, and their fighting did not seem to resemble the little I have seen of what you Gaidin do."
Here one of the envoys scowled and overrode the speaker. "We have come here to know, what is going on? Why are the Aes Sedai attacking us, and what are you and the Tower thinking of yourselves to do these things?"
The Swordmaster frowned, for he had no idea how to respond to this. Around him, some of the Gaidin were scowling at the envoys for accusing the Tower and indirectly their Aes Sedai, while others frowned. The Swordmaster looked to Hawk to say something, as if anyone knew, he might be able to explain this. In the mean time, he spoke to give Hawk some time to think of a reply. "It can't be Aes Sedai. You all know well that they are forbidden by the Three Oaths to harm people, or to use the Power without just cause."

Mercury stared at the ring, momentarily lost for words. What to do now? Common sense told her that she should be worried, but she was too exhausted to feel anything but a vague sense of warmth in the room.
"Mairyela, the Amyrlin is having a bit of a tough time at the moment. Yurin just recovered after all, and recent events aren't helping any. Maybe that's why it happened, I don't know...but she vanished. I can't find a trace of her and I'm worried. She will be fine I think, but until Yurin wakes up again I can't be sure. Be on your guard." What a lie it was. But oddly she didn't feel any guilt about it. It was for the better. Mairyela would know soon enough.

Mairyela couldn't help but show her surprise at the mention of the missing Amyrlin. Where would she go, if she left on her own? She knew that the issues the Amyrlin had been facing recently with Yurin had to have been hard; she didn't know what she would do if Skiiy fell into a similar situation.
She nodded. She could hear the uncertainty in the Keepers voice, but she didn't press the issue. It wasn't her place, and she had complete faith in the woman. "Of course, Keeper." She gave a curtsey. "No doubt she went off to clear her head somewhere private." She hesitated a moment before thanking the Keeper for her time, and walking out. Closing the door quietly behind her, she couldn't get rid of a nagging feeling in the back of her mind that something didn't quite feel right.

Mairyela had barely closed the door, when Mercury let out a sigh of complete exhaustion. She couldn't keep this up for very long. The ring was sitting on the table in front of her, unmoved from where it had been placed. She reached out, and took it, hoping Clarissa was alright. She stood up and locked the ring away in her wardrobe. She felt for Hawk in the bond, and found him in the Warder barracks. She closed the bond to give herself time to think, and then sank into her chair.
Mercury frowned. There was a paper on the table which had not been there before. She unfolded it and read it.
'If you want to know what happened to the Amyrlin, come to Tel'ar'an'hoid. You are assured of your safe return, and the fog will not harm you whilst you are with me. -Romvian'
Romvian stood in the Dream World, just outside the Keeper's dream. It was heavily warded, but nothing he couldn't break through with time. But he had no need; she would come. Tel'Dashar swirled around, but left a gap of five foot lengths round the star of the Keeper.
