More Meteor Showers Bring Even Stranger Powers. (O/A)

From within the shadows a pair of hands reach out silently and lay themselves on the shoulders of Theonis and Trinity gently. A haggard and emaciated Teshoumaru leans in between them and grumbles. "You two are very fortunate Freya is incapacitated. Any shadow user could hear your bickering from three rooms over."

His eye was sunken and dark. His hair greasy and matted from not having washed in a while. His lips were dry and his voice raspy. It had not been an easy week for him.

Ako shrugged to himself as Liv left the room. Her interest hadn't been missed, and had they met a mere few weeks ago, he would have at least made a pass at her. Now, though, he had Gidget, and whatever problems she may have, he would stay loyal. After all, she was really the only person he had. He'd never been able to have more than one or two friends, even when he was living with a group of people. Of the five people he'd met in that apartment, only Gidget still spoke to him. He knew Annie was somewhat involved with Valhalla, but other than those two, he'd lost track of that entire group.

Thinking of Gidget, he felt the need to check in. He was more tired than he expected to be after such a short exercise, but maybe seeing Gidget would give him some strength.

He wondered if he was being a bit clingy as he pulled up her number and hit 'send.'

Gidget walked out of Kodak's office with a huff. Nothing, absolutely nothing. She knew Trinity was good at hiding, but this was something else.

Her phone buzzed in her back pocket. She was a bit confused at first, especially since she had only started using a phone that week. There were times she envied Gadget's head phone.

She was pleased to see who's name appeared on the display. With a smile and a bite of her lip she slid the green arrow right to accept the call.

"Hey hotness." she crooned, "You hardly ever call me first. What's up?"

Damien had also felt a flash of something within the complex. His lack of experience with...well...anything caused him to dismiss it. To him it was a blurb in a grand sea. To his pleasure it was steadily getting quieter the farther away they got from the cafeteria. He had seen Annie and his father, but felt little need to interact with them.

No, he was focused on Christian. The boy intrigued him. Barely old enough to reach most door knobs yet so very jaded and practical. Alongside that he felt a need to connect with Christian.

He had a vague sense of understanding regarding the human need for socialization, but many of the greater concepts within that idea eluded him.

No, he was focused on Christian. The boy intrigued him. Barely old enough to reach most door knobs yet so very jaded and practical. Alongside that he felt a need to connect with Christian.

He had a vague sense of understanding regarding the human need for socialization, but many of the greater concepts within that idea eluded him.

As Christian left the cafeteria he raised a brow as he saw his mother enter with Alexavier, but decided to ignore it. She seemed in a decent enough mood, all things considered, so he decided not to worry about it.

As he walked he felt Damien's eyes watching him and the boy's interest. Pausing, Christian asked, bluntly, "What is it? You know you can just ask if something is bothering you. Worse thing that could happen is I could tell you to mind your own business, though, it isn't like you couldn't find something out if you really wanted to..." He rolled his blue eyes and repeated, "Anyways, what is it?"

"Teshoumaru!" she turned around and hugged him tight. "I came to find you, I feared the worst, that they've brain washed you. We need to get you to the med bay." If her sensei took a moment to notice what she was wearing her old uniform instead of what she wore as Head of Security.
"Were you able to get through to Freya?"

Meanwhile Chuck Richards decided to take advantage of his new position as Head of Security and as Head of Valhalla. The lights all over had been adjusted so that there were no shadows as if it was always the Golden Hour. Causing shadow entry to be limited. More guards had been placed outside the facility with lights all around ensuring a barrier of sorts surrounding them. There was an email announcement. "Because Trinity Smith has been found plotting against Valhalla precautions must be made. Keep lights on at all times. She's very dangerous especially when she has shadows at her disposal."

Theonis froze at the sudden at the sudden touch. His hand shot back to his sword but eased up as he heard the voice. It had to be Teshoumaru. The way Trinity responded to him. Still...there was a chance that he was under their control and this was just a way to get them to lower their guard. So for now he remained on his guard.

Cassandra was walking along with the boys in hand, content with how things were at the moment. But she had a...feeling. Uncertain. She did not know why.

Aaaaaaand it's gone. The ******** style="color: violet">Meanwhile Live was inside the main hall of the Training hall.

Cassandra was walking along with the boys in hand, content with how things were at the moment. But she had a...feeling. Uncertain. She did not know why.

Christian paused a brief second and glanced at Cassandra before stating bluntly, "Unease. Why unease? It's a negative emotion. I don't particularly care to be around negative emotions, even small ones like unease..."

"Falling in love with steak. Well it's not like you have to watch your weight. You can eat all you want! Almost makes me wan-there it is again! " Alexavier spoke up as he felt it again." Aaaaaaand it's gone. The ********?"

Annie would have corrected him about not having to watch her weight-she had to watch it, just in the opposite way most women did. She glanced up, placed her fork down, stood and sighed, "The lights have changed, by the way. I wasn't paying attention, but they've changed."

She flipped open the phone she had borrowed and accessed the internet to check on any update and frowned at the notice about Trinity Smith and her plotting. "Christian should be fine with Cassandra. Actually, Cassandra would probably serve as a better protector than me, in any case... and it looks like good old Trinity 'has been found plotting against Valhalla' and 'precautions must be made'." She stated the two quotes in a prim voice. She was unconvinced of a traitorous Trinity, to say the least. "Regardless, I doubt it's Trinity Smith you are sensing... though the in and out feeling would fit a teleporter. And, my sensory abilities are useless in this case."

She smiled and said to Alexavier, "Care to investigate? I always like a good mystery."

Her eyes and hair matched her current emotion. It was a blueish color." Because something doesn't feel right, honey." Cassandra replied no longer speaking soft and gentle.

"Hmmm guess you're right." Alexavier replied regarding the lights. Shortly after he burst out in laughter. It turned some heads but as usual he didn't care." That girl? That's great. She isn't even capable of treason. Goes against her morals and stuff." He finished laughing." But that's besides the point. I got a multidimensional sensory thingy. Think that's what the labcoats called it. Even if she hides in the shadow I know where she is."

Annie smiled with a shrug and walked around the table, lay a hand on his shoulder and whispered into his ear, "I agree, it is an amusing thought. I don't even have to be all that close to sense a rat in this sort of situation. The lighting is to reduce shadows... Trinity would be limited on where to go and hide even if she was a traitor."

She narrowed her eyes as she considered those watching and glanced back at Alexavier: discreteness was obviously not in his skill set. Considering the best route to get suspicion off them, she decided to provide an apparent situation most people would have the decency to investigate. She then said loud enough some of the audience would hear while holding a small smile, "Why don't we go somewhere more private to discuss more private matters?"

She turned and led the way out of the cafeteria, not bothering with returning her plates. The statement to most ears would have sounded like a girl inviting a guy to a hook-up, though, in her case she was far more interested in investigating the rat she mentioned and whatever it was that Alexavier was sensing. Besides, Alexavier was psychic, it wasn't like he couldn't figure out her true intentions if he wanted to.

Kerana had seen that look before, but it was usually for a girl who had a crush on a boy. She saw Larry with a look of confusion. She looked toward Deora wondering how to explain this to Larry. "Um.... Your sister seemed to have butterflies in her stomach about someone."

She was beginning to suspect that Liz is hopping Liv would like her more than just a friend. The fox girl also started to worry about if Liv didn't swing that way or simply did not share the same feelings toward her.

Larry slowly turned toward the girls and scratched his head. "Does that mean she likes someone? It's probably Liv then. Heather's had a crush on her since we got here. I've just never seen that look on her face before."

Larry turned back around to inspect his sister once more. The only thing he saw was an empty room and an open door. "Where'd she go?"

Further down the hallway, Heather was in an almost dreamlike daze. She ran her soft, scaled fingers over the bare flesh of her upper arms. It set her teeth on edge. She was following the lights. They were like iridescent butterflies fluttering in front of her eyes. They were leading her toward the training main hall.

She sachet'd past a distracted Ako and let herself in. Heather let the door close behind her before saying in a sultry tone, "Hello Liv"

"Teshoumaru!" she turned around and hugged him tight. "I came to find you, I feared the worst, that they've brain washed you. We need to get you to the med bay." If her sensei took a moment to notice what she was wearing her old uniform instead of what she wore as Head of Security.
"Were you able to get through to Freya?"

Teshoumaru grimaced in pain and gave her a quick pat before gently pushing her to arms length. "I'm fine, just a little malnourished. I've had worse."

He looked over to the young man standing beside his protege. With a knowing smile he sighed, "You must be the boyfriend. You can relax. If I wanted to kill you I wouldn't have laid hands on your shoulders."

He looked back to Trinity and gave her a once over. The uniform did strike him as odd, but there were more pressing matters at hand. "I saw her, but I could not speak to her. It's bad. Very bad. These imbeciles have unleashed something that was never supposed to be released again. They have disrupted the seal around her neck."

Damien was about to answer Christian's inquiry when he and his mother had their exchange of concerns. So maybe what he felt earlier was something significant. If that was the case...

"Unease may be the least of your worries, Christian. Panic, I assume, is a much more intense emotion. Something is here. I can feel that Father knows this too. It's strange, but we can't pinpoint what or where it is."

In absolute control of his emotions at this point, Damien became completely stoic and achieved pure emotional equilibrium. "It feel it would be best if we leave this place."

It was a tone that Liv was very familiar with. But that voice? It almost sounded like Heather. Sure she's only known her for a week or so but she was never like this. Liv decided to just respond normally when she turned around.

"Oh hey Heathe-" Liv was cut short at the sight of her. This wasn't anything like the Heather she remembered! What happened to the lizard girl? This was more like a dragon girl! Needless to say she was very surprised.

"Heather? But wha? How did? What happened?!" Liv asked curious. She had to admit that her new form was...well..rather hot. If you ignored the claws. Which she did at the moment.

"Seal? Wait, what seal are we talking about here?" Theonis asked.

"Yes, but where to? Leave Valhalla? Or just a different location in it? I don't know where to go." Cassandra spoke worried.

"Well, looks like I'll have some fun one way of the other!" Just like Annie he got up and walked in her direction.
