Her support--and the visible reaction their actions seemed to be having on the dragon--were enough to fuel Arnica to continue. It didn’t matter if he was tired, or that he couldn’t exactly process exactly what was going on--he continued to push forward.
The heat didn’t bother him as much as it should, and the fireballs should have given him great cause for alarm but instead he felt like he had a surge of energy. He shoved another large boulder into a crevice and, while his back was turned, he missed Lacerta’s brush with danger. He heard her scream and jerked his head to look at her.
Another surge of strength; he elbowed a smaller boulder into the crevice and dropped to her side, one hand gently resting on her shoulder. “--I’ll keep going,” he assured, “Are you all right?”
There was genuine concern; she had been his ally in this and he was going to make sure that if he got out, so did she.

Nia called out as it seemed Brioche ran off into the chaos, before pulling herself together (or trying her best to, at least), balling her hands up into fists at her side and taking in her surroundings.
Fire everywhere, heat replacing the cold and dreary feel there had been, making it feel as if they had descended through the two concepts of hell now: fire and ice. Luckily, she happened to enjoy heat and nothing seemed to hurt her, though the light was blinding and difficult to look through.
Seeing rocks off to the side, Nia went and used her leg to push over one, letting it fall until there was a poof and some of the flames were eliminated.
MoonKitsune just a backfill at this point!

Holy cow, there's a dragon.No one had said anything about fighting dragons when Nia had come on to the whole senshi business, but in the end it didn't really matter. They needed to do what they could to stay alive. She could whine later. Instead she kept doing what she'd been doing, avoiding fireballs and kicking the rocks into the chasm, breathing heavily despite having gotten what felt like a second wind, gaze looking about for her two companions, wanting to be sure they were alright as well.

A fireball flew by Ammersee's head and his stomach seized for a moment; he was back to feeling overheated and exhausted, but adrenaline kept him going. He needed to keep moving rocks--needed to stop this. He could rest when they were done.
Or dead.
