Please PM me with any suggestions for the Writer's Aide thread. I want to keep it clean of conversation, so that it is cleaner better organized source for research and refrence. I am going to clean up the thread here in the next couple of days. I do have a lot of information. It is just going to take me a while to get it all posted. Again, if you have an idea, PM me. If you want to write an article yourself (and it is too long for a PM.) My e-mail address is born2bonstage@yahoo.com. I realy want this to be a refrence and research guide that we can post a link to in the press as well as select articles from for each issue. It is always better for the writter to search for the information himself. I want to give the gaians a place to look. Please help me keep the writer's aide thread clean. Do not post directley to it. PM me please.

Okay, got it! Did you want to make it a rpotected thread so only you can add posts?

Zacharra, sorry about telling you to post your publishing idea in that thread! I didn't know. sweatdrop Bad, bad Alice. whee

Wow, you'd think at 2 a.m. people would be asleep round here. But no, my neighbor is playing pool, and catty corner and down a house there are girls (middle school or below, I know they don't have a highschool age child there) are having a sleepover. And by the sound of the "awws" I think somebody yelled at them. Which, I can't imagine why, I could here them over my neigbors a/c unit and the William Tell Overture, which isn't exactly quiet music.

Couldn't tell you one way or the other.

But my noir novella is coming along nicely...

And I'm not going to get that review thingy done. Just thought I'd let you know ahead of time. Teachers just love throwing bullshit projects in our laps.

Psh, suck it up and do them both at the same time, wuss!

Sorry. Kind of.

By the way, Alice... what do you plan on doing with that publishing thing I wrote?

--Because if I wrote it for nothing, you'll be gettin' all sorts of apples!

Haha, I'll find a place for you. Although, the worst case scenario is that I may need to save it for the next issue since Gypsy prepared all her writing tips before you sent yours. I'm going to PM her when I start working on the final draft! I'll keep you updated.

Sorry if I've been somewhat distant lately, but I'm really stressed out with school and such! I'll try to tie up all the loose ends this weekend...

Ending on a low note, I have bad news. (Or good news if you guys are getting sick of me, lol.) I may have to go back to Taiwan this summer to take care of family matters, but I promise I'll still be here until May 27th, but after that I may have to choose a replacement chief editor for a few months to post the upcoming issues. I'll definitely type up all the drafts ahead of time, so all you have to do is post 'em according to the dates. PLEASE DON'T FREAK OUT. It's not that big of a deal...I just won't be here to supervise you guys, so go ahead and throw a party. wink

Hey Alice,
Don't worry about using my advice first. Go ahead and use his article if you want. You can pick from my thred for latter issues. You could make a reffrence link to the thred in next months issue so writers can go there and look up their own questions. I plan on adding a lot more to it tonight and latter this week. Like you life kind of hit me all at once this past weekend.

*freaks out* gonk OMG Alice what're we gonna do? cry *snickers*

Don't feel bad about it. My bout of laziness has been going on for a while. Don't care about much anymore. School. Band. Social life. Internet will always be there for me though, no matter what state I'm in. ^^ It's going to be a very busy, life changing summer this year.

crying And I'll probably miss out on the cool stuff, like the Renaisance Festival and Dragon*Con and AWA Convention. gonk < *is sincere this time*

scream *throws apples* Go on! Leave us! Slave driver! *more snickering*

*feels the apple-pounding love* Ack, editor down! xp Hehe, just kidding. I do apologize for this though! I'll try to do as much as I can before I leave, but the staffies will have to compile the entries from June onwards without me. I don't think it'll be too much of a hassle though since we have our handy-dandy submission thread in the writing forum now. Plus, we have more manpower since Gypsy and Zacharra joined the gang, and the vets have been here since day one, so I feel like I'm leaving the 'zine in good hands. Also, I'll give someone the password to the mule account, so we can award the contest winners in June, and whatever else that needs gold attention!

Ah, Alice.

No worries, The 'zine has picked up quite it's own momentum. If you think about, it could go ahead and publish itself seeing as how we already have all the issues we'll need till....a few months from now, and we've got people who actually care about this place.

Way I see it, we just need to

a) Get all publishable submissions archived neatly for easy picking.
b) Get articles in.

Easy peasy, eh?

***

*hugs the Serieve*

It's going to be ok, silly! Life's a rubber band...it changes, it stretches, it gets pilled out of place...but know what? Everything comes back together in the end.

Besides, you can always pound out a million cliche angsty-teenager poems about death and darkness and your broken soul.....then read them agian a year later and realise how stupid you were. 3nodding

Don't know about you though, but my angsty teenager years helped me figure out the difference between good poetry and bad poetry. sweatdrop

***

*gives Zach, Gypsy, Ser and Clavy a noogie*

We can pull this off, now can't we? What with Zach for an assertive writer, Gypsy for an awesome Copy Editor and columnist, Ser for always stickign around and Clavy for his "emotional support".... xd
