Riley was right.
Wait, who was really surprised about that?
She leaned back and nudged her face against Malodore's beak, before reaching up and bumping her head against Jericho's. Her eyes were fierce with that 'I told you so' look. She slipped away from them both, and without any real hesitance she headed into the portal.
Remind me not to listen to you guys when you tell me that violence isn't the answer. Her voice filtered back teasingly, even as she faded away.

Aksaja PERSONALLY thought it was fixed because he put in the 'restart' code, but he wasn't about to argue semantics just now. "Let's blow this joint," he muttered, stepping straight into the portal.

Malodore took a deep breath for the calming effect, then squared its shoulders and followed the others through the portal.

Facepalm!
Jack ******** damned windows, idiots! Windows, JACKING WINDOWS! It was a lovely rant Sheridan was having inside his head, pacing back and forth the few steps he could on the platform, growling to himself about -windows-.
He didn't know if he wanted to scream at Conquest to stop.breaking.the.portal, or join him in the enraged destruction. Fortunately the matter was decided for him as the portal at last came to life. Heh, when all else fails, hit it with a bigger hammer. A barbaric saying (hitting a computer with a hammer almost never worked), but it had proved correct in this situation. Whatever, as if he was surprised by anything in this place anymore.
Right then, through the rabbit hole we go. A breath, his shoulders set, Sheridan walked through the portal. He only hoped they weren't all walking into some great abyss, instant death, or something worse...

Jove was brought back to his senses by the terrible noises coming from the white haired boil, and his attempts to destroy the portal just enough to let them through. His first reaction was to put himself in between the crazy computer-bashing and his remaining two friends, Junko and Tomoko. He had to look after them, right?
With a nervous little frown he glanced at them, and then up to the now-working portal. In a split second he decided he would go first, just in case it was dangerous over there.
Before anyone could stop him, the little pup dashed through the portal.

Arachne had listened to the talk, the threats of violence towards the portal..which eventually, through one way or other resulted in the portal actually working.
She looked at Sepheran, gave him a gentle tug with her hand and then stepped through..

Tomoko paused, looking to Junko, then to the portal. Frowning lightly, before she looked at Conquest, puffing her little chest out a bit.
"Thank you! And..umm..sorry...for doubting..that you were fixing it." the kitsune said, sighing a bit and brushing her hand over Junko's hair again, before moving into the portal after Jove.
Hopefully they would all be going home soon.....

West slowly relaxed as tempers flared around him. Anger was nice. Portals were not. Still, it seemed everyone was headed through and there was really nowhere else to go. He shrugged and followed, readying himself to kick some a** on the other side.

Raziel could do nothing but stare in confusion at the chain of events that quickly progressed and took place in front of him. He was hardly able to intervene, not knowing many of the others here, and he for sure wasn't going to try any sort of mutiny, being outnumbered.
For the most part, nothing too bad was going on, until the other unknown demon that seemed to know Famine somehow picked up the portal and began smashing it up and down. Raziel winced with each blow to the ground, but he still wasn't going to say a thing.
When somehow the portal magically worked after its immense beating, Raziel hurried after the others, going through the portal to whatever their new location was. Maybe Colette would be there waiting.

Sin just stared, and stared, she couldn't believe the portal tantrum that conquest was throwing. Then...it WORKED and that shocked her even more. Shock or no shock though the second Famine and Conquest stepped through she ran after them despite the agony to her legs.

Sepheran was merely too exhausted to care much about what happened . As the other students rambled Sepheran had set about to resting as much he could. He would need whatever rest he could get if he was going to try and survive anymore.
When the portal was finally working Sepheran tilted his head to Arachne feeling her give him a gentle tug. "Be safe..." he whispered softly before following her.

"I'm glad to see you're alive as well..." Astra hadn't expected to be hugged, but found that it was a welcome gesture and returned it, trying to hide her own tears in the process. Aurian wasn't the only one who had to see people die...
She listened to the other reapers explanation of what had happened to her, and her heart went out to the others. It seemed all the students had been having a hell of a time here
The next set of events were a blue, as the guy who had levitated them across began to smash at the portal itself, and before she knew it, the portal had begun to work and students were going through it. Not wanting to be left behind, she jumped through it as well

When Conquest began raging, Aurian looked fearfully at the floor and walls. She was expecting the ground to split open again and swallow up more students. Thankfully it didn't come to that.
Surprisingly, the Portal flickered to life. Everyone argued about who it was who had fixed it. Aurian shrugged. "As long as it's working, I don't care," she said. Straightening her shoulders, she put on her best Reaping face and walked through the Portal. "Once more into the unknown..."
