Elrothiel paused on the crest of the hill just long enough to see that Sila was with her. She couldn't see Isil but didn't wait to find out if she was there. She could see the the horsemen fighting the first group of orcs that they were easily beating, but from the height of the crest she could also see the second group of orcs approaching from behind the trees. The horsemen didn't appear to have seen the group without orcs yet. An ambush. She swore softly. Another encounter with the same group of orcs. She touched the bandaged wound on her arm and took a deep breath. Then shouting a war cry in elvish, she charged down the hill.

Isil fallowed lastly as she held her bow close. As she reached a place where she could see the hills, she took a deep breath in and shot her arrow and watched as it slid from her fingers and implanted intself into an orc's neck. She stayed hidden in the trees as she continues killing off a few more. She did not want to reveal herself just yet.

The sunlight reflected off Elrothiel's hair and sword, making them appear to shine. As she sprinted down the hill the nearest orcs looked up, surprised. Before they had time to react Naraithas's blade had bitten deep into the first orc's neck. He dropped like a stone and she pulled the sword back, spraying blood in a wide arc, splattering her and coating the other orcs. Howling with rage, they advanced on her. She raised Naraithas. She was ready for this.

arrow Southern Mirkwood, Sauron's former castle.

The moon shone darkly upon the silent tower, Inside sat some Orc's, not a mind blowing amout but enough to give the average lone traveller trouble, there was around 10.

In the shadows about 10 meters away a bush ever so slightly twitched. From the bush came a arrow. The moon shined coldly on the metal. With a twang the arrow was realeased dead into the group. Moments later a second arrow appeared from 2 inches to the right and fired in. By the time the second was fired the first had hit a Orc. The second raced into a second as it grabbed its sword. The other eight fled into cover. five had bows and tried to fire back. Another two dropped when with a yell the bowary in the bush stopped. The Orc's cheered. They didn't hear the sword clink as it was drawn. The three sword Orc's went into the bush as the three Orc's with bows sat back down.

As the Orc's with swords advanced into the bush a word of Sindarin Elvish halted them. Gurth an Glamhoth. A man said as he stepped from behind a tree, the Orc's jabbered something in man tongue but the man didn't bother to listen. With swift steps he aproached the trio. With a elegant spin the first Orc dropped. A second followed with the sword being pulled from its heart. The third slashed wildly at the man who blocked it easily. The man aimed an elegant slash at the Orc who cowered, so the man delivered a kick to the creature's face. As it fell on its back it died under the mans sword. Swiftly cleaning it the man put the sword back into its scabbard and re-drew his bow. Holding two arrows and firing a third he aimed for the tower, the second and third followed close behind. An Orc screamed, followed by another two. The man smiled for a moment then walked towards the tower.

((Gurth an Glamhoth.

((Hey, what happened to the other guy? Is he still RPing?))

Parrying several blows from her left, she jumped a low attack at her legs and retreated to a boulder a little higher up the slope, so that she would only be attacked by one orc at a time. One, slightly braver than the rest, followed her eagerly. He aimed for her head. She ducked. She aimed a blow at his sword arm and he blocked it with his shield, her arm vibrating from the impact. During the split second she took to recover, he rammed her with his shield, sending her sprawling. He aimed his sword downwards at her. She deflected it, and it hit the earth an inch from her face. She used the moment of impact to kick the orc's knee; hard, and she felt it fracture beneath her foot. She leapt to her feet and drove its sword sideways into its chest, before grabbing her own and turning back to the orcs in front of her.

((Where are you guys?))

arrow River Anduin

With a sigh the man stood by the river. It was an hour later. The tower had been empty. The man glanced from side to side. His eyes fell on Lorien. Land of the witch. He shivered although it was warm. Turning his eyes to the south he begun to walk. His destination was Gonder. War was coming so he felt his duty to the middle-earth was to help man.

((Ok, so we're no longer fighting then. We're somewhere between Rohan and Mirkwood, not entirely sure where.))

((yea... that sounds right. All I know is that we're still heading towards Rivendell... but got a bit sidetracked.))

Isil made her way onto the battlefield that was now covered with dead bodies. The stench was horrible. Isil sighed. As of now, most of her arrows were used up. She salvaged a few that were not bent or broken that she took out of dead corpses.

(Sorry, internet's been down. >.<)

Eroswyn slowly bent down beside Lunarexion, not bothering to notice whoever else was around him. His hair was stuck to his face by large beads of sweat, but with one stroke of his hand, they were wiped aside. He reached into his pouch at his side, taking out a small plant of Athelas, pinching some off and laying it on his mount's leg. Eroswyn then slumped down, a sigh passing through his lips as he leans back against the stomach of Lunarexion, propping his hands behind his head, though his bow remained right at his side in case it was needed.

arrow Tirith Anduin [Where the two seat are]

The man silently padded up another hill. His eyes, although tired remained fixed upon the seat before him. The Chair of sight The man sighed. Dare I see? Do I wish to see more enemys? He slowed a moment. Such thoughts often caused him to ponder his life. Perhaps I will see hope. The man would have laughed if he did such things. With certain feet he approached the chair and sat. It seemed strange to be sitting after so long. Instantly the man felt his eyesight strengthen. He looked around himself. North he saw ice and deaht. My home is there somewhere. The man thought idly. Looking west he saw horses grazing in Rohan, and the forest of Lorien. Turning east the man gazed sadly at Mordor. The flame of Saurons eye was visible. It scanned around as if seeked something. Looking away from such a sorry sight, the man gazed south. With a start the man stood. There were people. People surrounded by dead Orc's. Perhaps they know where Rivendell is. Slowly the man stood. Honesty or by stealth? He pondered. I will be honest. He decided and made his way south west.

The smell of the blood was, at the moment, to horrid for Isil to breath in. After not being engaged in any fights such as that for a while, she must had grown distant from the smell. Now she wanted to become distant from it again. She made her way off the battlefield in the opposite direction of the wind, north east, so the stench would not follow. She didn't go to far, but just enough to be alone and take a breather.

Elrothiel wiped her sword in the grass where she stood on the rise, slightly above the battleground. She sheathed Naraithas and looked down. The acrid stench floated in the air and she saw with satisfaction that all of the orcs that had attacked her had vanished. She felt a pang of loneliness when she remembered the man who had bargained for her freedom. She smiled wistfully, wondering where he was now. She sighed and turned away. There was no point wondering about it now. She looked over the surviving soldiers, and located the man she assumed was the leader, tending to his horse.

She walked down the slope towards him, to see if he was friendly, and if he had any news that he would share with them.

arrow Heading South.

THe man was in trouble. The second he'd left the seat his observation skills had returned to normal. After a while his certainty had died a little. As he begun to truely ponder he drew some cram from his his pack. Not as good as Lembas, but better then Orc meat. As the man took another bite, he frowned. Stopping he took a deep sniff. Blood. He sniffed Fresh. Orc and human. His eyes slid around the plains. Pausing to gather his thoughts he let his body settle, thus allowing sences to highten. His sight grew about two inches longer. Not much, but enough to allow a few dots to enter his sight. These dots moved.
There you are. THe man thought. He finished his cram then set of.
