Celestine Ravencroft Anyone else having trouble with adobe flash player not wanting to show animated items, aquarium, etc on Gaia? Yes, I had problems with it, but I updated my flash player and that helped some. Though, Gaia flash still lags a bit. >:

I realized how much I HAAATE playing left melody for ANY piano piece. Sure, chords, all fine and dandy, but melody? NOPE.
I'm right handed, damn it! Tell this righty to focus on the left hand, and the FIRST THING that'll come into this head will be...
...dur...
*keeps writing little notes in her music book* xp

Heck, I can't event find my flash player settings. xp Which browser do you use? If it's firefox go to the little bars at the top right, then go to add-ons, see if adobe needs to be updated from there. It also might be shockwave flash needing an update as well. For chrome: If Flash isn't working, try these solutions to fix the problem: Step 1: Turn on PPAPI plugins. Open Chrome. In the address bar at the top, type chrome://plugins and press Enter. Click Details. Scroll down to "Adobe Flash Player." Under "Type: PPAPI," click Enable. Step 2: Make sure Chrome is up-to-date. You get Adobe Flash player on Chrome automatically, and it updates when Chrome does. Step 3: Update Adobe Flash Player manually. Open Chrome. In the address bar at the top, type chrome://components and press Enter. Under "pepper_flash," click Check for update. Plugins that use NPAPI, including Silverlight, Java, and Unity, won’t work.

Chrome. I tried as much as I could, but nothing worked. My Adobe is version 18. whatever, and as far as I can tell PPAPI is active. I don't know what the deal is.

Ever have one of those days where you feel like everyone in life is excelling and you're just here doing nothing, being nothing? I mean you're happy for others around, but it's lonely because they're moving forward. When people tell you how much they're doing and how great everything is; then they ask what you've been doing, and you're trying to answer. Truthfully you've just been doing nothing. You don't have a job, you don't drive, you don't go out to see your friends anymore, and your boyfriend lives 1725 miles away. He's talking about wanting to get his Bachelors and you're happy for him; you support him, but that just means you won't get to see him till after 2 and a half more years. All of the friends you know in real life are already settled in life, or are beginning to. They're getting married, having kids, living a normal happy life. You just feel pathetic, life is just passing you by. Even your younger sister is doing better than you, she'll be on her own most likely at the end of the year.

emotion_hug emotion_hug emotion_hug emotion_hug emotion_hug emotion_hug emotion_hug emotion_hug It's okay I'll admit I have had moments like that in my life where it feels like your going nowhere, you just have remind yourself of what you have gotten done and believe you can do better if you put your mind to it. After about 3-4 years of saying/thinking I should find a new job I am just now finally getting it done.

I know how you feel Cree *hugs* it'll get better for you because you're awesome and I think that all the hard s**t in life is just the test to see you hang in there until it lets up and gets better when that b***h known as life takes it's damn foot off your throat long enough for you to get back up and let it know you don't have to take that s**t from it anymore, you made it through it's shitstorm and it's calm to sorta rough seas from there. *hugs again* Just hang in there it's never easy getting things worth having but when you have them it just makes life that much better.

Hey we've all gone through that. You sit there and look at your newsfeed of everyone you've ever known from the time you were three with jobs and kids and parent friends and getting on TV and you have none of that that it hurts at times. You have two choices at times like this. You can either retreat and shut out those people by either taking them off your friends list or unfollowing them (while still keeping them on the friends list) becoming a shut in waiting for the next time you can see someone you care about greatly again or you can look at this as an opportunity to discover yourself and do something positive with your life. I'd go with option number two. Now is a good time to pour energy into personal projects and accomplish the little things you've been meaning to get done for a long time. It's also a good time to remind yourself of what you do have and remember that we're always here for you.

I still don't have a job (even though I really should), I still don't have a driver's licence, I'm still living at home (and probably will be for the foreseeable future), no boyfriend to speak of (but I really don't want one anyhow, so it's no big deal) so no, you aren't the only one. I get sick of having to hear about everything my oldest cousin (who is still 6 months younger than me) is doing and the way he makes me look like I'm a bum. Believe me, I get how you feel, and some days all the "look what all your cousin does" stuff really ticks me off. It helps me to remind myself that he's not perfect. He's still living at homed because he can't find a house, and even though the second cousin who is about 2 years younger than me is sharing an apartment with a friend of his, he still hasn't finished college and the apartment they have is practically a cubicle. So yeah, it may seem petty, but looking at the flaws in the other supposedly ""perfect and accomplished" people makes things marginally better. Biggest thing to remember though, is how much you do have. At least you have a high school education. At least you did graduate from college, regardless of whether it was a two year junior or a large university. At least you have a family who cares about you and will support you no matter where life takes you. It won't always feel like you're stuck like a hamster on a wheel. You're life may seem bad, but there's always someone else who has it one hundred time worse. This too shall pass.

I have those days alot. emotion_hug And I have a job and could live on my own if I wanted to. But there will always be something that other people might try to use against you. But the more I feel down the more I try to listen to my own voice. I hope you feel better.
