Things got weird fast. A dark purple barrier flooded the area. Then the dolls started to burn with dark purple flames, but aside from a surreal sensation he couldn't place he didn't feel pain. Then the eyes of the exorcist glowed dark violet. What insane power did Taylor step inside? In his hesitation to comprehend, his mind slipped to Getsugakure. There was a man there whose eyes also glowed. His power was intense enough that it froze Taylor in place. The man looked more like a monster than mortal when his eyes glowed such. Taylor remembered it was the first time he felt his bones break. Repeatedly. For hours. The fear kept him from moving. He was stopped in his tracks, unable to think of the moment or process any information. When Kyomei spoke and tried to entice him into making a strike, the boy was still too frightened to move. It wasn't until Horus screeched out, however, that the boy resumed his breathing and calmed himself.
Horus flew from the outside of the barrier as he looked down at what was inside. He had a good look on Kyomei, but didn't wished to strike without Taylor's go ahead. Taylor meanwhile recovered enough to remember the mission. Hit the target with three techniques, in escalating order of power. Since bukijutsu was his combat method, he felt like it was a smart idea to start with that. It was for that reason that he held the sickle by the chain as he started to spin the chain with his right hand. As he spun he increased the amount of chain involved, until there was about five foot range. By this point the boy was leaning to his left and allowing the chain to swing right by him. As he leaned back, he tried to shoot the chain forward and toward his target. Just before he let go of the weapon, however, the fell out of his grasp. Taylor audibly gasped at the situation. Instinctively the boy pulled back the chain to begin the spinning again. However, as he pulled it back, it nearly hit him to the point that he had to move out of the way of the oncoming weapon. "This isn't right..." Taylor said shocked and under his breath. He wasn't sure why he was moving like this, why his body was failing him at this point. Why did he feel so weak?
Taylor continued to panic until Horus shrieked at him. His eyes focused as he looked up and noticed the bird looking down at him with concern. It was at that moment he knew he needed to relax. He was in Suna, not in his memories. It was this that gave him the strength to fight again. Taylor spun his chain scythe chain once more as Horus released energy from above. Taylor exerted the same force at the same time. He then threw his chain back and then forward as the sickle flew at the opponent's torso. As he did, Horus paid the cost to make the technique the right rank. Alone they could be destroyed. Together they could step up to any challenge.

__ Zhi had detected her best friends Taylor and Horus over here awhile ago. From what she could tell they were training with Kyomei and that Masato feller. While it was extremely tempting to jump in too, Zhi decided that right now she really really had to focus on herself. She was on the clock until bedtime! Which meant there was only so long available for her to do some training. Then when she saw Lady Bastet in the morning she'd be glad to show off how far along she was to being just as great as her favorite idol!! Zhi located a place to do her thing where she wouldn't disturb anyone else.
WHEW! What a workout. Now it was time to go home for some good rest. Then she'd quickly hurry to meet up with her team and Lady Bastet herself in the morning!

{Barrier Activity:Active, Oouen: 1st Effect Negation: D-ranked Bukijutsu, Second Effect Negation D-ranked Taijutsu} •Currently Affected: Self • Infected: Taylor : Duration: [1] • infected: Masato : Duration: [1] The arrival of Ayame was a surprise to some degree, but not entirely unexpected. Kyomei knew with ears around the village her talking down of the villages practices would eventually lead to it's leader's. When the brazen one didn't seem to react Kyomei would would have begun preparing for the next level of Renshu negation. However, Ayame's summons instilled a greater sense of urgency. Kyomei would need to end this 'not-spar' faster. She needed answers and while she decided not to seek those answers the one with them sought her instead. There was a technique to measure ones sins of which she had yet to practice. Though she doubted her opponents carried many this was the only method she could think of to end this dispute without gratuitous violence. [1/2]
Kyomei would begin to form the proper Kuji-in fully satisfied that any attempts at assailing her, her Oouen would successfully shackle. Needless to say as she began to form the signs the unexpected coordination of Taylor and Horus overcoming it through a work around came to a surprise. Her flaming eyes widened as the flame died out, in a momentary panic before her hand signs shifted suddenly and her open palm struck the ground as she exclaimed as loud as she could "Oni KABE!" Then the sound of tearing followed, Taylor had made a connection by the sound of it, but what could be considered fractions of second after a large giangantic red wall with a monstrous face arose from the ground. Knocking the kusarigama skyward in it's rising to limply return to it's wielder. Rashoumon the shinobi called it. What some called the impenetrable defense. Suffice to say it was a bit overkill for Taylor's meager attack. Kyomei was seconds to late to block the blow completely but the gate prevented vision of the damages.
As quickly as the wall rose the ground began to quake once more as it began to sink. Kyomei would be found on her knees on the ground gripping her chest area. There was no red blood to be seen. At first the way she sat upon her knees made her appear to be gravely injured and she sat in silence. Although if Taylor approached any closer to see if she was alright. A whirring shot through the air as she extended one arm outward with her other arm still covering her chest Kyomei yelled cheeks flushed with red. "PA..PA..PERV BARA! REFLECT ON THE WEIGHT OF YOUR LUST FILLED SIN! BARA! BARA!!" having used the wall as cover Kyomei had prepared a fuuin upon a paper doll to hit the unsuspecting possibly worried Taylor squarely in between his eyes to block his vision. [Kanashimi no omo-sa (Weight of Grief) 2/2]
The unhindered vision of the bird would be able to see, Taylor's attack had mistakenly clipped and torn the upper half of Kyomei's robes when the Rashoumon was raised so suddenly. She was using her other arm to protect her innocence. If struck Taylor would now feel a heaviness, literally and mentally. He would begin to recall his lies, his sins, things he blamed himself for that ended in tragedy. A ghostly weight began to form above him the more he'd recall. But would he dare remove the paper doll to gain vision of it in the young maiden's current state? He would only feel a gravity, a gravity bearing down and looming air that felt right possible to crush him beneath it as if a beast were drooling above him awaiting it's next meal and however, big that beast was Kyomei would watch it grow cheeks flush red as the deserving tribute.

Ranging up to Eight feet in diameter. The rings can be freely controlled by the wielder using the staff as a conduit to direct them. (5-Chakra Per Ring. Rings can be destroyed by an ability one rank higher than the X-rank of rings used or if there are three strength descriptives or higher when against a similar ranking technique.
►Edict of Purification: Rank: X {1-rank per Ring} Type:Special- Fuuin Element: All Description: When the Edict of Purification occurs the user stands still and begins reciting a mantra. As the Mantra progresses a ring will detach itself grow to it's maximum size and then portray the chinese or kanji symbol of an element. [1 Per Post ] The Elements are 火 [Ka] [Fire] : 風 [Fū] [Wind] :土 [Do] [Earth] : 雷 [Rai] [Lightening] : 水 [Sui] [Water]: 冥 [Mei] [Dark]: 光 [Kō] [Light]: 空[Kū] [Void]. The Mantra Must Be Sustained, Breaking of the mantra causes any rings at that point to fall pointlessly to the ground and return to the Keihatsu. The cost of this technique is progressive per post. [5], [10], [20], [40], [80], [160], [160], [160]. A Total of [640] by the final post. When the Mantra concludes the user spins their staff allowing for one final interruption and then slams it into the ground. All eight symbols glow with light corresponding to their elements fuse together into one giant ring that appears to be an eight sectioned circle with the symbol 真 [Shin] [Purity] in the center. A unfathomably powerful blast that could decimate an entire village if fired downward from the sky shoots forward. However, the beam inflicts no harm to anyone or any structure...unless it is a strange creature, impure of heart, tainted by evil, or wishes to do harm. The technique essentially, even then, does no damage, instead, it places a feeling of tranquility on all evil or violent intentions shutting them away briefly and crossing over any wayward spirits. The option for this technique to cause mass amounts of damage and destruction is possible but is considered Taboo in all accounts and doing so would destroy the weapon and make it's wielder unfit to ever wield another Keihatsu ever again. Even then, such is only achievable by tampering with the chanters rings discreetly carving [Shi] [Death] on each ring. Which no wielder could do themselves as it would make them unfit to wield the Keihatsu. This was only discovered when a former Keihatsu user asking for purity [Shin] to be engraved on the weapon by a blacksmith was accidently replaced with [Shi] the result was labeled in history as [The Black Tragedy]. While it's mark in history was minimal and the small settlement lost wasn't noteworthy the Keihatsu's capability of destruction was discovered that day and only the most heavily versed scholars are aware of it as even many who've unlocked the Keihatsu's abilities are unaware of this. Unfortunately devout historian's because of this are incredibly suspicious of all wielders of the Keihatsu.

Success! The attack went through. Taylor was surprised when his opponent did not try to dodge, but instead summoned forth a massive door in order to disrupt the flow of the chain and negate any further damage. All he had to do now were two more strikes and he could succeed in the exorcist's challenge. As he pulled back the chain, however, his ears perked up. His face then became flushed as he was accused of being a pervert. "P-p-p-pervert?!" He exclaimed embarrassed. His chain fell to his side as left hand rose to cover his warm, blushing face. "Miss Kyomei! I would never do anything perverted. Especially with a girl." He said honestly. It was at that moment though a figure appeared in front of him. Fear overtook him as he saw the sight of one of his former slave owners in an astral form. It was she who took him when his body matured enough and indulged in her heinous desires. She took many forms, and experimented between the genders while taking advantages of a slave's inability to reject. Taylor froze as the specter hovered above him and weighted himself down on his back.
Various other figures appeared as they dropped weights upon his back. One was from a man who Taylor lied to when he first enrolled in the academy, claiming to be a commoner of the moon country. Another took the form of a woman with whom the boy boarded up with for three weeks because of his claim that his parents were away in a foreign land for a business trip, and he could not get access into his own home. People left and right who he told lies about his origins formed and places weights onto his back. Taylor took to one knee once six weights fell. It was then, however, that the Taylor ghouls appeared.
They appeared around him like perverted reflection. Each one chuckling as their transparent bodies stared down the original. The ghouls then looked at each other and shook hands, as though in greeting. No dialogue emitted from them, but if one could read lips then it was apparent that they were all saying the same thing. 'Hello. My name is Taylor.' When they finished toying around, they floated above Taylor. The ten became one giant ghoul as it leered down at the tamer. Then, with a dramatic flash the weights crashed down and fell on the boy's back, forcing him to be sprawled out upon the ground.
At this point, the pain was nearly unbearable. Just before the weights were placed, Horus channeled chakra to Taylor. Taylor used that chakra as well as his own to enhance his bones with a reinforced chakra skeleton. It was not something which Kyomei would know and something the boy seldom showed. In a fight, he never used his bloodline. It was a part of his heritage, which meant it was something to hide and pretend it's not there. If Taylor thought he could survive the technique otherwise then he wouldn't have used it. Unfortunately, he wasn't sure if this was Kyomei's plan after all. To lure him into a gentle spar and then kill him in a freak accident. He wasn't sure what to believe. All he knew is that he was going to survive this. That was, until the last ghoul emerged.
Taylor felt it before he saw it. He felt the most painful image in his mind resurface to him. He dared not look at the ghoul, for the pain was too much to endure. To Kyomei, who had the power to see ghost in their truest form, there was a man who stood in front of Taylor. He wore typical samurai garb, and his hair was raven black. He stood well above the boy, although his face was still young. He looked down on the boy with sorrow. Then, a flash occurred which showed the version of him Taylor remembered; bloody, his face contorted in fear as the dagger in his stomach forces more blood to gush out. It was only for a moment, however, before the solemn and composed boy formed. "I'm... so... sorry..." Taylor said in pained whispers. This man did not float above Taylor, but per the rules of the technique extended his right hand as a ghostly hammer formed in it. The size of the mallet increased tremendously as the weight of the hammer increased to 1500 pounds. Finally, he held the hammer with one hand above the boy as he then placed his other hand on the grip. This was it. Taylor's final sin. Once the samurai raised the hammer and brought it down then Taylor would be overwhelmed with over two thousand pounds of sin. Kyomei had until the hammer crashed down upon the boy from stopping that to happen. If she did not, then who knows how he could possibly endure the weight of his sins?

{Barrier Activity:Active, Oouen: Pain} • Currently Affected: Self • Infected: Taylor : Duration: [5] Kyomei appeared pleased with the success of her technique but something was not right. She expected someone as young as Taylor to only carry so much of a burden. Mayhaps lying to a neighbor about not having stolen an apple from a tree. Not cleaning up after one's room. Small menial things. Who was this boy and how tormented was his past? He carried several smiles, an air of optimism but what showed was the opposite. Although Kyomei bore witness to the ever growing weight of Taylor's world it unsettled the exorcist. One's sins are often determined by one's self blame. Had he killed all these individual's? What of himself? He was indeed a despicable individual by the size of the weights upon his soul. One most likely deserving of death...
However, the Tao would not allow her to let this happen. It was not a followers goal to take life, only to bring light to said life and enlighten them. Taylor being reminded of his sins so as not to allow him to forget them until he has forgiven himself or sought forgiveness from those he has wronged. Nature and the karmic balance of things this was her wu-wei. They would be Taylor's undoing not her. To take a life would be a burden upon Kyomei herself that she would not be able to hold despite how deserving it may have seemed. By forming the following Kuji-in the hammer was brought down but in the millisecond before it would connect it would vanish with the rest of the weights.
She would instruct two of her paper dolls to then forth take new positions. They would float infront of Kyomei's temptations of the flesh to conceal them from prying eyes. Kyomei's aura then after would flare again. She didn't have to touch Taylor as the outskirts of the aura touched him he would be overwhelmed with the same foreign feeling but any pain that plagued him would be alleviated. Coldly, Kyomei would not offer a physical hand instead she removed he Shakujo to place it next to him so he may use it as crutch to get back up. "Stand. Un Hata." There would be no sympathy in her words.

Kyomei would hear the sound of thunderous flaps as Horus descended over the fallen Taylor. The massive bird covered the boy as he shrieked fiercely at the girl. Whatever alliance they had prior was not a matter of concern at the moment. His human was on the ground defeated. The girl came closer. Since Horus could not see ghost, he was unsure of what damage was done to Taylor. He only knew that it was enough to need support. At this moment, Kyomei was a threat to Taylor. And if she continued to be a threat, then she would find no mercy from the Thunderbird.
Before Horus had to attack, however, Taylor rose. He grabbed first a wing of the bird's as he used that to steady. He was tired, and he was weak. That wasn't alright. That was not okay. Taylor spent two long years hiding from the past. He did everything he could imagine to make sure no one had a single recognizable detail of who he used to be. He was adamant to start his life clean. And now Kyomei knew it all. With his sleeve Taylor wiped away the tears. He couldn't help but cry when his sins manifested to torment him for his weakness and selfishness. Now that he stood, however, he couldn't allow Kyomei to know any more than she already did.
"I... will do anything to keep this knowledge hidden." Taylor said pathetically. He then fell to his knees and lowered his head. "Please. Don't tell a soul." He murmured. He could never let his past be known. If these people knew the truth about him, what he did, they would never look at him the same way. Here he was known as Taylor Childe, a simple genin of Sunagakure of average skills and average presence. He hated the idea of losing this name, of losing this identity. He had no power to stop Kyomei from doing what she desired. All he could do is beg.

{Barrier Activity:Active, Oouen: Pain} • Currently Affected: Self • Infected: Taylor : Duration: [4] "I refuse." Kyomei would say sharply without hesitation as Taylor begged and pleaded destroying any form of hope that Kyomei would keep quiet of this scenario. The multiple entities that had added on to his sins and griefs they meant very little to almost half naked girl. Taylor gave the exorcist too much credit. The images of a persons sins, what they see are separate from what she sees. Kyomei saw blurs of people, any voice was muffled into incomprehensible whispers, the vague shape of a hammer and the blur of what seemed to be a man although its features and details unknown. These were all that she saw. Though to Taylor perhaps he imagined she had seen and understood it all. Kyomei could only weigh a person's soul she could understand what they contained...well unless that is of course Taylor himself confessed and opened his soul to the exorcist. Taylor's soul was one thing and that was heavy. Far too heavy to not be considered a deplorable creature wearing the mask of an innocent boy with hopeful eyes.
Kyomei would sheathe her Shakujo. The avian would no longer need worry of any attacks from the girl at least not physically. "You out yourself with the need to keep secrecy bara. The images that formed I know not their meanings, but I know enough now that you have a desire to keep them hidden. That is more than enough to warrant suspicion that you are guilty of heinous crimes." Kyomei's words would reveal to Taylor that he was the only one who bore witness to the visions that haunted him. Perhaps if he hadn't begged for secrecy Kyomei would have assumed him just a boy rife with grief and sorrow. In short he had shot himself in the foot revealing he was guilty of something, and something to Kyomei was most heinous to warrant a punishment of 1 ton. "Take comfort in the knowledge I know not what you keep hidden but do not breath easy Un hata. You will come with me to the Kazekage's home. She will decide your fate, and whatever crimes you are guilty of, you will confess them to her yourself not I bara, you are a citizen of this village, you will take responsibility for your actions, you will confess to it's leader, and she will decide whether you are a threat to its safety or merely a soul that needs to be sewn together."
The exorcist was harsh. This was reality. There would be no playing pretend under her watch now that she knew of how much guilt weighed on Taylor, she made that very clear in the way she spoke. While she did not know the cause of the guilt her findings bore a negative stigma. Suddenly Taylor's talk of hope, and faith, from before was lost to her. His pathos was shattered and Kyomei while she did not show it on her face felt betrayed. She decided not to float towards her destination she would walk. The clacking her sandals made like the beating of a judges gavel with each step. Facing away from Taylor and the bird she spoke once more. "I will acquire proper attire. Do not run, you will only appear more guilty. Face your demons, cease hiding, only then will you be able lighten the sins that bind you. I will see you there." Kyomei's parting words held neither kindness nor contempt. They were flat, and in that flatness there would be insight that she would leave Taylor with. Keep running with whatever sins you have on your shoulders and only make them heavier, or face them and accept whats to come of the actions you've taken. With a final clack of he sandals Kyomei faded into the shadows of the streets of Sungakure...well only before she almost tripped and fell, a reminder, the exorcist was still human~exit

If any of the rings are broken the remains turn into a ball of spiritual light and return to the staff as a normal sized ring and is placed in a temporary recovery period (1 Post). If the Keihatsu is ever disarmed all currently floating rings fall to the ground and return to their normal size. The rings can also be used in conjunction with Shakujou styles if logical. Judgment came down harsher than the guiolltine. Kyomei lacked insight into the details she saw, which meant that she saw them for sins which he willingly kept quiet about. Was she really wrong, however? Was everything he worked to make in Suna just a lie? Could he really be anything more than just a slave boy forever hiding if he did not come clean to his sins? The thought of confession terrified him, but there was also another feeling inside of his soul. Hope? Yeah, it was hope. The exorcist had truly arcane knowledge, and she was right to declare that Taylor's secrecy was weighing his soul down. While he would feel more comfortable confessing to Kyomei over the leader of their village, if that is what should occur then so be it. Since worrying or crying would do him no good, he walked in the direction of Ayame's residence. He did not fly on Horus' back, even though the bird moved forward. He needed the walk in order to figure out how to even begin to tell his truth.

Masato found himself bored with how these events unfolded. Weren't they supposed to get stronger or something? How does limiting the techniques they can use make them stronger? This exorcist was clearly on something. Taylor seemed more into it. Good for him. Anyway, Masato wanted to do more tangible things with his life. He left without saying goodbye to any of them.

Ugggh.. It really was hot today. Okay. A nap does not sound bad at all. Maybe she should take a nap before training. Entered into the abiet empty academy, her grey eyes looked around for a bit. Not many people here. Save for the teachers of course and the ANBU. Earlier, Kei was very motivated to learn! And now?! She wanted to crawl into some shade and just rest. Yea. She stepped outside and - "Ow!" Kei grimaced silently as she glanced down. Her bearded lizard had gotten between the flap of the bag and the bag itself and bit down on her hand as it swung by. "Ugh. Fine. I'll do it." Kei said unenthusiastically. Whatever. She could nap after training.
With a soft grumble as she entered back into the cool building, Keiko headed towards the bloodline area where her father said they would be. Sure enough, she had found him. They shouldn't be too hard anyways. "Alright." Keiko said as she opened the first one, Kageton: Endai Yami. [1/2] Remembering her father's words, she did the hand seals and glanced down at her hands. She already had gloves on so for a moment there, she almost thought it wasn't working until she extended down to her elbow. Perfect. [2/2]
Hopefully learning all the bloodlines wouldn't take long. Maybe she could learn her elemental chakra jutsu tomorrow. Yea. Looked to the next technique on the scroll, it was called Kuro Higanbana. Wait. She had seen her father use this before.. [1/2] It was on her mother, it seemed like they were fighting at first but then.. wait! Ew! She did not need to think about that at all! Shuddered softly, she shook that thought off and did the handseals but it didn't work. Oh wait. She needed to do the Shadow Sewing first. Duh. At least she got the idea. [2/2]
[ Kuro Higanbana [ Black Spider Lily ] Learned! ]
Maybe she needed to go ahead and do the Shadow sewing so that way the others would work better. Alright. Glance at the scroll, her fingertips touches the old parchment as she moved it down. There it was. [1/4] Kage Nui no Jutsu, the popular one of her clan. Alright. She glanced around for a moment to find an volunteer or at least something for her to work on. [2/4] She had found a dummy but it was outside. She was looking out of the window. Ugh. Fine. Whatever. Besides the heat wasn't that bad today. Grabbed the scrolls, she headed outside where the dummies were. [3/4] Focused onto them, she did the handseals as the shadow elongated but not only that, but black spikes formed all over as it headed right to the dummy and damaged it somewhat. [4/4]
Alright. Back up to the weaker jutsu. Where was she... okay. She finished the Black spider Lily and now she was going towards the Shadow Trick. Oh. Right. Okay. Her head glanced around for something she can use once again. [1/2] Not finding anything, but she did found a rock with holes in it. Geez. What happened to it? Shrugging, she did the handseals with one hand as the holes in the rock was started to become 'filled' with shadows and making it look whole instead of holey. Heh. Holey. Keiko smirked and then facepalmed at her own stupidity. [2/2]
Alright. That's done. She ended the jutsu and the rock was back to where it was before. Setting it back to it's previous spot, she paused for a moment. You know.. this would made a great drawing. Wait. No. She needed to finish this. A soft dramatic groan escaped from her lips. Was she almost done at least? [1/2] She wouldn't know. She wasn't going to check. Alright. Next one, ah yea. Her dad had taught her this one back at home when there was no knives around. It was his lazy way of cutting the vegetables without having to wash a knife. Trick was, to make sure that her mom didn't ever catch them doing that. Performed the handseals, she decided to summon two blades, one for each hand as she swung it around a bit, and then ended it. [2/2]
Okay. Onto the next one. Keiko groaned in annoyance as she glanced towards the dummy. Does she really have to walk all the way over there? Of course, she was being very dramatic. It was only 10 feet, tops. Whatever. [1/2] Once she made her way to the dummy, she squatted down as her hand placed onto the shadow. No wait. Brain fart. She did the handseals and then touched the shadow, sure enough, a wave had formed and was sent hurling towards the dummy. [2/2]
[ Kageton: Nami no Gengetsu [ Shadow Release: Wave of the Crescent Moon ] Learned ]
Okay. Keiko was tempted to read down further just to see how much more she needed to learn but she knew if she did so, then she may become unmotivated to learn the rest of her own bloodline. 'This is taking forever.' Keiko thought to herself as she does a deep inhale and exhale and looked at the next one, Kage-Kubishibari no Jutsu. [1/2] Ah yes. The binding one. Wait. Didn't her dad also use this on her mot- Wait! Stop! No more! Keiko shook her head violently just to get that image out of her mind. Gross! Quickly, she was now motivated to learn, just to help her focus on something that wasn't that! With one hand, she did the seals as a shadow wrapped around the dummy but there was no strangulation to be had. It was... a dummy. [2/2]
Oh. The next one was going to be tricky. She definitely needed someone to help her out with this one. She couldn't think of anyone until, she felt the bag by her hip slightly moved. Her lizard can't be too mad if she did this to him right? After all, it's not like he can figured it out. Maybe. [1/2] Her hand reached into the bag as she got out the snoozing bearded lizard who was slightly waking up from being handled. Placed him on the ground, the dazed lizard was confused. Using this as a chance, she did the handseals quick and tested it by taking a step back. Now her lizard was very alert and very awake. Cutting the jutsu quickly, she picked him up and started to sooth him back to sleep. [2/2]
Alright! Last one! Good timing too, Keiko was getting tired and sleepy. She wanted a nap. Bad. It was a perfect weather to do so.. erm. In the shade that was. Once she read the jutsu, she realized that this one of the many jutsu that Konoha's Nara had created. [1/4] Partly jealous and awe, she just wondered how incredibly Konoha Naras must be. She certainly hopes that she would get to travel and meet them someday. [2/4] Sadly, as rumors have it, it seemed that the Kazekage really does have a pack mentality. She doesn't like it when any of her shinobi has gone away. Well then. Keiko would have to find a logical reasoning that even someone with a pack mentality can understand. [3/4] Grabbing some wooden senbon to use, she infused them with her chakra. When done, she had thrown them to the dummy's shadow. No need to check if it worked, she could felt the drain. [4/4]
With a yawn and stretch of her arms above her head, she had made her way towards the tree; forgetting to put the scroll back into the academy. Climbed up a bit of ways, she found a nice thick branch and almost completely shaded, Keiko had made herself comfortable and started to doze off...

Current Attire: Same as the one in her picture. Currently has her bo staff to her back and has a small side pouch against her hip.
As Lahlil set foot into the academy her nostrils were assaulted with the musky scent of what she probably guessed as sweat from all the others who had come before her over the years. Although as disgusted as she was, Lahlil couldn't help but wonder what stories these walls could tell. About all the people who came before and where they were now. Shaking her head clear Lahlil made her way into the sectioned off hallway labeled Genjutsu. She had seriously taken to heart her teachers remarks about how well of an affinity she had for the art of illusion. Hell for the longest time Lahlil herself had always that that she was simply playing with her imagination and didn't realize until later that others could see the things she created, if she wanted to that is. Along with whatever gift these eyes of hers were Lahlil fully intended to learn everything she could about her gifts.
Going through the large alphabet of scrolls all related to her illusion jutsu, Lahlil began her studies with quite possibly the simplest one she could manage. Mostly because it had to do with calming people rather than instigating a fight with them. Removing her tiny wooden flute from her pack Lahlil preformed the justu just as it told of in the scroll. Focusing her chakra to weave in between the musical notes. The end result? A comforting melody echoed throughout the halls, and though there might have been no one else to hear it. Lahlil herself could attest to it working as the smooth music whispered in her mind of gentler things. In truth it was hard for her to even put down her flute as this had been her first real moment of relaxation in her life that she could remember. Regretfully she placed her flute on the table beside her. Definitely remember that one.. [1/1] Kaiteki Uta [ Comfort Song ] →→Rank: X - rank // Learned as E -rank learned.
The next jutsu in Lahlil's list seemed that it may require other person to fully make sure that she had gotten the effects correct. So Lahlil did what any sensible person in her shoes would do. Avoid human contact and test the genjutsu on herself. Since genjutsu was in essence the art of creating illusions Lahlil had to focus on what she wanted the illusion to create. Once she was sure that she had the desired effect Lahlil triggered her chakra within herself and in less than a moment everything around her was cloaked an deep darkness that sucked up all sources of light. Feeling it enchroaching around her Lahlil quickly snapped out of the genjutsu for fear that it would even consume her very mind. Breathing out in ragged breathes Lahlil decided to take a short break after that. [1/1] Kokuangyou no Jutsu [ Journey into Black Darkness Technique ] learned.
For the next genjutsu Lahlil would simply have to trust that her natural talent for preforming genjutsu since she still refused to make contact with another human being. Following the instructions for Lahlil preformed the hand signs and controlled her chakra in order to create the illusion that she had actually disappeared the moment before an oppoents attack. Of course it was hard to judge without seeing it first hand, Lahlil was confident that she had preformed it well enough. In fact with how well her training was going despite not having teacher with her... well maybe she really did have a talent for this? Is seemed extraordinary that she could be good at anything. Let alone having something that could suit her so well! With this power I won't even have to fight anyone! Heh I'm really gonna do it. I'm going to be the first pacifist ninja..[1/1] Hitoshirenu Shikaku no Jutsu [ Hidden Assassin Technique ] Learned.
Thankfully the next jutsu could be done well enough without the help of another. Preforming the needed handseals once again Lahlil summoned up her chakra only to have it envelop her in a whisk of purple flower petals. Further more these petals didn't just come from Lahlil herself, but it was as if Lahlil was actually becoming the petals. In a brilliant and showy flash Lahlil was gone and and reappeared a short movement later as if by teleport. [1/1] Kurenai's Flower Petal Escape [ Unnamed ] →→Rank: X - ranked // Learned as D - rank learned.
In much the same way Lahlil chose to learn the calming song jutsu to relax people this jutsu caught her eye for it's calming effect as well. Working out the hand seals required Lahlil set out to work manipulating her chakra to warp around into a illusion. This specific illusion? Simple. Lahlil would create a calm and relxed mood in her target as she spoke the trigger words. They would simply be set adrift in the sky as if they had become clouds. [1/1] Kumo Yotogi [ Cloud Watching ] learned.
The next jutsu was another of one she would have to take on blind faith, but from the way her other training had gone Lahlil figured she had it down pat. Imagining that an enemy was rushing towards her Lahlil formed a single hand sign and her genjutsu would take a hold. Though there were no targets near her to use it on, if there had been they would see a genjutsu illusion of Lahlil avoid deftly here and attack. Of course the real Lahlil would have not moved at all and could use this time bought to defend herself. [1/1] Mougo Shibaku no Jutsu [ False Strike Technique ] learned.
The next jutsu was chosen mostly out of it's interesting applications. Picking up her flute once more Lahlil used her handsigns in order to manipulate her chakra into place a genjutsu around the flute itself. With a lot of work and careful attention to detail Lahlil was able to form a veil of chakra around it, using it to morph before her very eyes until it at least took the shape of an apple. Hopping up in her excitement Lahlil marveled at her new creation, that in every way shape and form seemed to perfectly replicate a real apple. [1/1] Kokohi no Jutsu [ False Place Technique ] learned.
Another genjutsu that managed to catch Lahlil's eye was one that had quite the interesting effects. So apparently with this jutsu I'm can layer a second one on top of somebody? Interesting. With a little extra fancy footwork Lahlil got to work practicing by using her false strike technique and paying the chakra needed in advance to weave her darkness jutsu over it. It was actually a fairly interesting style. It felt more like she was knitting than anything else and Lahlil wondered if perhaps there was a more advanced method of this same style of jutsu. If so then layering more and different types of genjutsu would certainly be worth while. [1/1] Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu [ Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique ] learned.
After reading through her pile of scrolls again Lahlil spotted a neat little trick. Ooo so with this genjutsu I can rearrange my surroundings? That's rather interesting I suppose it's like the big brother version of her newly acquired false place genjutsu. Studying the handseals Lahlil used it on her current surrounding, though nothing too fancy since she was too scared to get into trouble. Instead she made one of the book shelves disappear and replaced it with a door that would seemingly lead to another room. Walking up to it Lahlil tested it out first by kicking and then by trying to open said door. All of which seemed to check out as a normal locked door. [1/1] Aki no Hibiki [ Echo of Autumn ] learned.
The next genjusu seemed nearly perfect for her. Basically it was a way for her to stop someone's movements by holding their mind in place with genjutsu. A perfect jutsu if could could have teammates to finish them off or if she could find other way.. Placing her thoughts to the side Lahlil set to work on learning the genjutsu. To be honest memorizing these hand signs was getting a little tedious but her determination carried her though. After performing the jutsu Lahlil held it still as if her life depended on it, which in all honestly it probably will at some point. Now from what the scroll- the moment Lahlil's thoughts took hold she could feel the jutsu slip from her fingers like a trying to hold onto a fish. "Ack! I guess it really wasn't lying when the scroll said you couldn't even think of something while using it.." [1/1] Atama Kusari No Jutsu [ Chained Mind Technique ] learned.
Using the last of her energy Lahlil jumped right into the next jutsu before exhaustion overtook her. Unfortunately this one would be the hardest she had to learn so far seeing as how the last jutsu she learned was the last of the lower ranked ones that had peaked her interest. Lahlil figured that approaching this genjutsu as such would allow her to be more successful, so she broke it down into two parts. The first being her mastery over the seals and manipulating her chakra to cast the basics of the illusion. Of course this wasn't too hard seeing as how she had just spent the last two hours learning how to do just that basically. [1/2]
Now onto the second portion of the technique. After finishing up her handseals for the fist time Lahlil began the process of actually changing her chakra into the illusion which was much harder than all the other ones combined based solely off of the fact of how much detail and sense manipulating went into this genjutsu. Even this strenuous effort seemed to fold underneath her natural talent however, as Lahlil managed to create her beautiful art. In a brief flash of a step Lahlil would disappear before her opponents very eyes. During this time she would be invisible to her opponent though she should be careful of using the genjtsu in this seeing as how an enemy would most certainly be alert after they witnessed their enemy vanishing from their very eyes. Next and assuming there was an actual foe to fight then a tree would quickly grow beneath their feet that would trap in it's roots the faster it 'grew up'. Of course Lahlil would be behind this with a mild paralytic effect to only make them feel like they were trapped. From there it was on lock down as Lahlil would morph out of the tree and do.. whatever it was she needed to. Though Lahlil would most preferably knock her enemy out cold. [2/2] Jubaku Satsu [ Tree Binding Death ] learned.
With that Lahlil collapsed into one of the softest chairs she could find and fall right into a nap. She certainly wasn't done training herself but that was all the work she could put in without resting for at least a moment.

Of course. The young Nara had a nagging suspicion that she wasn't going to be able to sleep. And it was true. Besides, how can you sleep somewhere in Sunagakure? It seemed that dangers lurked behind every corner. Each sound she could hear was keeping her awake. At least she was resting. Maybe she should take this chance to meditate. [1/10] Her eyes were still closed but she started to lean slightly forward in a more comfortable position. And a position for her to respond quickly if she must. [2/10] There we go. This was much better. Save for the bo staff that seemed to be slightly in the way. With a mental sigh, she grabbed her bo staff and placed it up against the trunk for it lean towards to. [3/10] When that was done, her eyelids closed as she focused on her breathing. She needed to be in a state of calm and peace before she can work on her chakra. [4/10] It didn't take long. No. This wasn't her first time to meditate anyways. She always liked to meditate. It helped to clear her mind. [5/10] After all, her mind was always spinning. It was always thinking of many things at once. This was a good way to calm it and sometimes, silence it. [6/10] Now that she was focused and completely relaxed, she started to work on the hand seals. She could feel the chakra flowing throughout her body. [7/10] First, she had the chakra move to her feet. Let it rest there for a moment. Let it stay there. Feet was important, for tree climbing and water walking. Then just as slowly, she spread the chakra back throughout her body. [8/10] Next, she had them move like a gentle river flowing into her hands. For slight strength improvement. Maybe even wall climbing on all fours of a shinobi wanted to. She recalled a student from her academy days that did just that, just for fun. [9/10] To balance the chakra back where it was, she gently let the chakra go back to it's normal and natural flow. She could feel it though. She could feel how much it had slightly improved just from the meditation alone. Not too bad. [10/10]
She should really do the next one. It was more for chakra control. Her father had told her about it. Yet, at the same time, it was... too meh. Did she really have to do it? After all, a nap was perfect! Ugh. Okay. Just do it and get it over with. That was going to be her new motto. [1/6] Grabbed her bo staff and made sure the bearded dragon was safe and sound in the pouch, she hopped down from the tree and started to do simple shadow techniques. By controlling her chakra, she expanded her shadows and elongated them. [2/6] She should have fun with this. Next, she decided to sand by a tree and have the shadows shape the same as the tree. With every little branch and leaf, it has it. [3/6] She should make it a little bit creepy. The branches twisted and bent in unholy manner. The shadows separated slightly to reveal the mouth of horrors. [4/6] Huh. How to make this creepier. The tree shadows broke off and she designed different monsters. Some seemed cute. Like little ghosties and gremlins. [5/6] Then they evolved into more horrdous things that you can only think of in nightmares. With a sigh, she dismissed them and the shadows returned to where they area. Interlacing her fingers, she pulled them upwards to give herself a good stretch as she stood on the tip toes. [6/6]
"That's better."

Current Attire: Same as the one in her picture. Currently has her bo staff to her back and has a small side pouch against her hip.
As Lahlil started awake nearly jumping out the over sized cushioned chair., her breathing heavy as she sat listening to the sound of her own heartbeat. Bump.. Bump.. Bump. Finally she relaxed once she found her surroundings though she knew the nightmares would be back for her later.. In the dark, and when she was alone. Shaking her head clear for good measure Lahlil decided it was best to distract herself by continuing her studies. Picking up the scrolls of all the higher ranked jutsu that she had scavenged up Lahlil got into it once more.
Reading through her first scroll had remembered why this jutsu had applied to her so much. In the same way as she had been doing before Lahlil used her chakra to form into her hand and create a veil of parasitic chakra. In this way the genjtsu was much different in of the others she had cast in that she had to perfectly create the chakra in order to infect the target and alter their perception. [1/2] With part of the genjutsu completed Lahlil focused on creating the jutsu once more now that she had the pattern needed to create it down. With this complete she recreated a scenario where she would need to infect her enemy with her chakra, which would be no easy task considering she was rather frail for her age. Either way if everything went according to plan then the foe would be effected by her chakra and cause them to fall asleep for as long as they were under her spell. [2/2] Nemuri [ Sleep ] Learned.
The next genjutsu was more of the big brother to her calming and chained mind spells. After careful reading of different accounts in which it was used along with some handy notes from it's original creator, Who also happened to have impeccable handwriting. Lahlil retrieved her flute and began playing out a one of her favorite melodies while doing her up most to weave her chakra into the music. [1/2] Of course even with her natural genjutsu skill Lahlil was by no means a performer and had a little trouble with creating a tune let alone weaving her chakra into something that wasn't already alive. With plenty of practice and a few tricks that she had picked up using her calming mind jutsu Lahlil was able to manage however, and the end result was a genjutsu that could paralyze a target within her hearing range. [2/2] Shiin's Kanashibari Music [ Unnamed ] Learned.
Before getting to work on her jutsu Lahlil by busy looking woman with sharp pointed glasses that hung just barely off her nose. "Excuse me miss but I am required to hand these out to all aspiring genin capable of preforming their own training." Without waiting fr her reply the woman dropped a stack of papers on Lahlil's arms and was off. A little disgruntled at the woman's behavior Lahlil set the paper down and leafed through their contents. Apparently they were all missions that could be completed for rewards, the most promising of which was to learn a jutsu. Well I'm already doing that .. guess I might as well earn some money for it.. With renewed enthusiasm Lahlil got to work on her list of genjtusu. Which as anyone could probably guess, was another trapping genjutsu. Specifically picked up to immobilize her foes, though this particularly one was inspired by a little of her home effects. Beginning by repeating the hand signs over and over again Lahlil made certain that she was both comfortable with them as well as being able to perform unconsciously under the pressure of battle. [1/2] With this completed Lahlil focused her chakra into what her actually illusion would be. The first part would be a distorting of the enemies vision, with this in place she would be able to create a prison of sand in the targets mind. As long as the genjutsu would persist the targets mind wouldn't allow them to leave the prisons confines. Perfect for helping to shut her enemies down. [2/2] Gensou Kinko no Suna [ Illusionary Sand Prison ] Learn a jutsu x1 complete!
Selecting the next genjutsu she wished to learn Lahlil found a pair that matched with one she had already learned. Interesting, it looks like I can increase it's power by using them in conjunction? That's sure to come in handy at some point I'm sure. Utilizing the same method as before Lahlil spent her first part of her training memorizing the hand signs for the jutsu. It would do her no good to get good with something, only to have forgotten how to preform the very technique later! [1/2] With this finished Lahlil focused on using the genjutsu twice. The first time would be when she used it on it's own, which would cause the enemy to see a cloud rush towards them rather unnaturally. Then whisk them high into the air where they would feel the terrible effect of crashing down to the earth at alarming speeds. The second time she preformed the genjutsu Lahlil's foe would already be under the effects of her cloud watching genjutsu, which in that case the enemy would simply slam back down to earth though at a much more frightening rate than if used without synergies. [2/2] Kumo kara Shikkyaku [ Falling from the Clouds ] Learned. Learn a jutsu x2 competed!
Despite how insidious the next genjutsu Lahlil was planning on learning seemed. She figured it was probably still one of the better choices for her. Turns out I can do a lot of harm to people's mind with this gift.. I better limit it to only trapping or unconscious effects. At the very least this was very simple one to learn and didn't require much on her part other than the effect of touching the enemy. [1/2] Getting to work to manipulating her illusion Lahlil would cause the enemy to believe they are breathing in dirt. Another interesting genjutsu since she just happened to live in the sand village it would be completely believable that she could cause the sand or dirt to rush into's someone's mouth and cause a choking effect. At the very least even if the enemy is very confronting this should cause them to put their assault on hold. [2/2] Hitoiki no Chiri [ Breath of Dirt ] Learned. Learn a jutsu x3 completed!
With the completion of the last jutsu Lahlil had managed to finish one of the quests that the woman had handed her on the sheet. Finding her a little ways down the hall filling her nails Lahlil stepped up to her and slapped the completed mission papers along ith what jutsu she learned right in her face. Or at least she did in her mind, in actuality Lahlil meekly handed her the mission status and collected her reward before rushing off to learn more genjutsu. Hopping right into the next jutsu, which was by the way was much more up to speed with Lahlil's style. A simple voice of persuasion genjutsu that would allow her to gently push a person into seeing things her way. [1/2] Quite handy in prickly situations or if she needed to get information out of the general populace in an unknown location. Though she couldn't really see herself leaving the village for any reason or another it would be good to have. Working out the hand seals Lahlil flowed the essence of her chakra into her voice and weaved her mind alerting ability into what would be her furture target. [2/2] Tokitsukeru no Koe [ Voice of Persuasion ] Learned.
Lahlil was starting notice a trend with how much more dangerous these genjutsu were getting the higher level she reached. Sighing to herself she went ahead with her training and picked up her methods to hopefully speed up this process from dragging on any longer. Instead of learning any kind of hand signs Lahlil once more picked up her flute and begin the arduous task of weaving her chakra in her music. [1/2] No matter how many times she practiced however, it seemed she could never really make any headway in this area. Lahlil just wasn't didn't have the talent for creating impassioned art. Thankfully it was enough for her to at least [reform the genjutsu with enough ease and to any enemy that was in listening range, Lahlil would be able to spring the genjutsu on them. Creating thick silver chains to erupt from the ground and engulf her foe. crushing them in their strength they would be mocked by their loved ones that would seemingly come from all directions. [2/2] Mateki: Mugen Onsa [ Demon Flute: Phantom Sound Chains ] Learned.
With her next genjusu Lahlil drew inspiration from her breath of dirt technique and looked for other earth based genjutsu since that's what she assumed most people would assume that's the kind of ninjutsu she would use. With the creation of her hand seals Lahlil would only need to make contact with her enemy. At this rate her chakra control had to be improving miles over what it had been considering how many times she's had to use it in such fine details in her illusions. [1/2] Once she thought that she would ready enough Lahlil would release the genjutsu and though there was no one that she could test it on nearby, Lahlil was confident that the release of chakra was described the same as it was in the scroll. Which means the her enemy would soon believe that their body was slowly turning to stone, and over the course of a few minutes Lahlil's enemy would be completely frozen in stone and pass out from being unable to breathe. [2/2] Ishi Karada Tenka [ Stone Body Transformation ] Learned.
Finding her grove in learning one offensive genjutsu and one with much more.. gentler applications. Lahlil picked the next genjutsu for the very simple reason that she could manipulate emotions with it. Though the jutsu was very simplistic Lahlil was able to master it much faster than she believed she would for such a high level jutsu. [1/2] Spending some time reflecting on this Lahlil decided it was best to practice it on herself and see exactly what the results would be. A quick set of handselas and Lahlil could feel.. comfort but it.. felt wrong, unnatural, and forced. Taking a second approach she figured that a slow and steady hand was much effective. The emotions have to flow and be minimal. Don't just push with your full weigh, but instead lead them to where you want them to go and let them walk the distance. [2/2] Ataeru Kanjoo no Jutsu [ Inflict Emotion Technique ] Learned.
As key to her learning regime Lahlil started studying another of the more frightening genjutsu that she had found. While not particularly scary unless the enemy has certain fears, Lahlil would not want to be on the reviving end of it. After learning the required hand seals once more Lahlil morphed her chakra into what would be opponent through the form of a phantasm. [1/2] With this stage completed Lahlil cause the enemy to be dropped down into a deep dark hole a hundred miles from the surface. All the while a slimy coat in would spread all over the walls and ideally trap them within the genjutsu. A real bad time for anybody that was claustrophobic if you asked Lahlil. [2/2] Konrinzai no Jutsu [ Deepest Part of the Earth Technique ] Learned.
The next skill to be added to Lahlil's repertoire was a defensive genjutsu that even she felt was a little cowardly. Regardless! She wasn't about to a silly thing like pride get in the way of running away. Plus it's always good to have a back up plan right? Lahlil tried to convince herself but it only made her feel more like she wanted a way out in case things got to scary. [1/2] Studying the hand seals Lahlil added her chakra into them and like a actor, took a dive. Of course this is only what her foe would see. Much like the false strike Lahlil's genjutsu clone would take the hit and make it seem like she had actually been killed right in the nick of time by the enemy and allow her the time needed to escape. [2/2] Niseshi no Gijutsu [ Art of Fake Death ] Learned.
With this Lahlil had hoped that her learning og the general genjutsu would come to a close and she could finally move onto her bloodline, which she had been burning to read more of. Grabbing the last scroll Lahlil read through it with considerably less passion that when she had first started tackling her endeavor. Another defensive genjutsu that Lahlil could use to her advantage against a taijutsu based opponent. [1/2] The basic idea was that lightning would strike near an enemy and cause them to move out of the way to avoid getting shocked to death.Though the lighting strikes would feel real and bring with them real pain, there would be no actual damage done to them and it was used to keep a foe on the defensive since the lightning would strike with them as the moved about. [2/2] Raikou Ame no Jutsu [ Lightning Rain Technique ] Learned.
With her training in high level genjutsu complete for now Lahlil picked up each and every one of her scrolls and began taking them away to their individual places when one of them fell to the ground. As she bent over to pick it up Lahlil adopted a curious expression as she hadn't remember taking it off the shelf. Looking around to see if it was someone's idea of a prank Lahlil carefully unwrapped the scroll and.. Lahlil's face had never turned so beet red so fast in her entire life and quickly rolled it up in case someone caught her staring at it. Oh.. well there's no hurt in learning one more right? Seeking a corner that was as secluded as possible Lahlil used the single hand sign needed to preform the ninjutsu. In a moment noticed she was light up by smoke that gave her quite the.. manly appearance. Even though it just rethought transformation jutsu Lahlil's face still turned red and she couldn't bring herself to look down eventually releasing the jutsu under threat of passing out from the lewdness. [1/1] Oiroke no Jutsu [ Sexy Technique ] Learned.
With her training in normal genjutsu complete Lahlil figured that it was about time that she tackled her own bloodline jutsu. A nervous trickle escaped down her spine as she unclasped the scroll and began her reading through the many pages of her clans history. With each page she turned she felt her knuckles going white with a flurry of emotions. This is what her mother had hid from her and this is why she got rid of her, so she wouldn't have to deal loving a burden of child who had the gall to be born with such a wicked curse. Lahlil shut her eyes tight as if she could make it all go away, but this only played to the wickedness inside her and in response to her growing anger. Her doujutsu awakened once again after a very long time. [1/12] Blood red eyes snapped wide to look at the world around in a new light. Everywhere she looked she could see the lines of reality as if she could reach out and touch them, bend them to change how she wanted. Through all her disgust and pain Lahlil hoped. Perhaps irrationally that she could make a new place for herself with these eyes, a world where she could be anything she wanted. A smile crept through her tears and Lahlil sat alone her in her chair all the while feeling felt each and every pulse from her eyes leaving them open for longer than she ever had before. [2/12]
With a tentative hand Lahlil reached out towards the unknown source of power that lay waiting inside her, but like a violent fire it lashed out at her touch and in a flash Lahlil saw herself as a little girl. Beaten, abused, and reliving every torture with her mother- no that person. Every smack and missed meal that she pushed her weakened body through for no other reason than her wanting her mothers love. The nights she spent alone in the corner of a broken down room. [3/12] Then white once more and Lahlil was a girl of five, stuck inside a dog cage watching with large eyes while she watched men born of the blackest souls exchange money, people, and blood. Lahlil remembered this time as after her mother had traded her to the raiders. Reaching out to grab her only possession at the time, a wooden dog bowl that she ate from and hugging it to her chest Lahlil started laughing. [4/12]
Her fit of laughter echoed throughout her mind getting progressively louder and louder until ti cracked everything around it like glass. Each snap and crunch left behind nothing but blackness until Lahlil was alone in the space of her mind. Clutching her dog bowl until her finger were bleeding a flash of white struck once more and Lahlil rocked back in her chair like the force of some demonic hand had shaken her back. Shivering in her cold sweat Lahlil looked down at her hands to find that she had still been holding her dog bowl. A relic of the past that had made it's way back into her life through the sheer power of her eyes. [5/12] Out of instinct Lahlil looked up drew from her power once again though the understanding had slipped past her Lahlil drew from the suffering of her entire life like it was a great pool of power waiting for the day she drew from it unconsciously. All the while it built up inside her Lahlil had no clue what to do with it all. She could feel it wanting to pour out so she did want she thought was the best choice, Lahlil cast a genjutsu. Her journey into darkness wrapped around her like a fog rapidly expanding out of her control. Except the moment she took away her supply of emotions and chakra the whole cloud burst like a balloon. [6/12]
Lahlil's brow furrowed in confusion well she pondering what had gone wrong a backlash of her build up of emotions struck at her psyche that caused her to reel backwards to pain. Gasping desperately for air Lahlil realized her mistake. These emotions of suffering would be let out one way or another and if Lahlil wasn't able to master it through the use of her genjutsu then they would consume her right here and now. [7/12] In a panic she rushed back to her bloodline's scrolls desperately seeking an answer through he mountains of text. Come on come on! There has to be something here that can lead me to it!? Oh maybe I should find the Hokage and other higher ranked ninja. The more the panic overtook her the more she tossed pages of the scroll and getting no closer to the answer when a voice ripped through her thoughts like paper. [8/12]
Lahlil froze in place and turned around like a frightened deer as the unrecognized voice radiated strength and a ferocity that she never even imagined one person could have. SIT DOWN AND RELAX. IF YOU PANIC NOW YOU'LL NEVER FIND IT. Strangely the voice spoke with Lahlil's own voice but she knew that it wasn't her who had thought it. Even still whatever had happened the voice had grounded all of her thoughts and emotions in one swift motion. [9/12] Heading whatever had spoken in her thoughts Lahlil picked up all the pages she had thrown about and sat through each of them carefully but with a quickened pace she read them all until she came across a section that seemed best suited to help her. It should be noted that this jutsu pulls from the suffering of the user to empower genjutsu cast. But the user must be wary as it can easily overpower the whole thing if the user cannot both control how much strength they draw from, and cannot properly weave it into their casting. [10/12]
Just as she suffered from another attack Lahlil held onto the desk desperate for support until the pain mercifully retreated. With the last of her resolve Lahlil pulled from her suffering once more though this time in bits that she found she could easily command. [11/12] With this accomplished Lahlil built her power into the genjutsu while she cast it. Under the new influence Lahlil found that the whole process was much like she had done with her genjutsu in the past. The key was weaving the suffering as she had her chakra into the genjutsu at the moment of casting. Thus creating her new strengthened form of genjutsu. [12/12] Kugai [ World of Suffering ] Learned.
