Nick and Kit can't stand their parents though and after Nick turned like 16 they didn't really hang out together. Kit was in the gang alone and Nick didn't know what kind of trouble he was getting into. And Kit wasn't really close to anyone.
It's neat to think about but I'd kind of rather not make it official.
