BFAA y'all have a major psychological problem that needs to be brought to forefront. I hate to out nearly everyone in here but people need to know about your devastating and heartbreaking condition that has psychiatrists in Barton baffled and the real reason why we will never step foot into Towns 2. Here's to hoping we can one day go back to the pond BFAA. emotion_hug

Would you mind if I linked that story in at the bottom of the RO story in the Chronicles? I think it would really help to support the story. Also reminded me I need to add in the last bit to that particular story since it got deleted somehow.

It's been almost a month said I was informed that a friend of mine committed suicide, and It made me pretty sad. Even today, I find it hard to believe he's actually gone, never to come back. It hurts. I wish I was able to stop him. After seeing his status and his profile update, my alarms went of and I got into a panic. I was told to believe he was alive, though I only hoped he was. Now I know he's dead.
It does kind of hurt when he made me promise not to kill myself a few years ago, but I cared about him and promised. It seems my promise was empty. Still, I miss him and wish he wasn't so lonely and feeling terrible.

Good news Batobs! The old RO 2012 story that I somehow borked during my thread renovations is now complete again and ready for reading. The ending is a bit different this time, but I'm sure you'll still love it. Look for more Barton Chronicles to come in the future.

I've been doing a lot of cleaning of old forums in the various subforums as well as Barton Square, I hope you don't mind. I also cleared a lot of the repeat/spam threads in Memory Lane. I'm sorry Cheffie, I'm not trying to take your Captain-ship away, just trying to help out some. emo emotion_hug

If I knew he was going to kill himself I would have stayed up to talk to him more and hope that his husband (technically, his husband and he are not recognized as a couple) would discover his intentions. I think I was the last person he spoke to. At first, I blamed myself because I didn't offer to help or cheer him up, but going back to the pm, I told him I cared and that I tried to help cheer him up. At least he died knowing I cared about him. He trusted me enough to tell me his life story when we first met, and in turn, I trusted him, and my trust in him was not a wrong choice. He had told me he liked me and that he had hoped I wouldn't see him differently because of his past. He was willing to trust me, when we first met, even though we didn't really know each other. Now that he's gone, I feel like crying because I know I'll never see him again.

We may want to update the Crew Quote List Cree made in the event planning forum since we've had a lot of changes since the guild started, not to mention some of those on the list have quite Gaia or switched to other accounts. People need to be able to quickly get a hold of active crew members. Also, Ano had an idea in that same thread about getting a small chronology put together for RO. I'm also up for having a regular Free Art Week each summer. That was another Ano suggestion. We did have some good ideas back then. I think some of them are doable if we just plan ahead. We'll have to d a lot of picking and choosing.
