Hot Caffeinated Cree Chibi Halo Damn it man don't be making me get into it with you right now. I don't want to do that right now. And don't you go feeding me lines when you know darn well you've pretty much been ignoring the guild, the thread, and the group all together. Quit acting like you're not leaving me to run everything by myself. You know the popularity and official recognition from Gaia has gone to your head. Dude doesn't see how we're being treated by the rest of the GCD, especially the fan groups because they all fawn over him lately.
*hugs* I'm hoping it will blow over with him. He does need to pay more attention to the guild if says he wants to be apart of it. I hope he does step up and help you. I sure hope so. Because I really do think that kickstarter, officially being in the manga, being referenced by reaper in a chance box, getting a freebie for a Ticket Event he wasn't supposed to get by rules of the ticket, and having a forum made for his group to celebrate April 1 in has really gone to his head. I mean he's nice guy and all but he can't just come out and say things like that when he's part of the problem. What does he value more when it comes to Gaia the Diedrich associated fame or helping to promote other groups and guilds when they need it the most? I'll accept when someone's busy with work and school and other off Gaia things. I won't accept people who are a part of my group who are crew members no less completely ignoring the guild and the thread all together. That just ticks me off to no end.

Because I really do think that kickstarter, officially being in the manga, being referenced by reaper in a chance box, getting a freebie for a Ticket Event he wasn't supposed to get by rules of the ticket, and having a forum made for his group to celebrate April 1 in has really gone to his head. I mean he's nice guy and all but he can't just come out and say things like that when he's part of the problem. Yeah, I think it was indeed a power-trip for him. He got lucky because he was popular, now he's flaunting and stuffing it in everyone's faces. I understand how it could be upsetting that he's been giving empty promises with nothing to show. He's in it for himself right now, but I'm sure all that attention will come back and bite him. It's kinda said that he won't even try to lend a hand on something that he was avidly involved in and was supposed to be involved in. Other obligations outside of Gaia are definitely fine, but it's irresponsible for him to just ignore his commitment altogether.

It's him and one other person, my friends no less, who are ignoring the thread and the guild for other places because they're more popular within the GCD dynamic. We're not super busy right now but we're so much more than just a plot discussion thread dang it. There's going to be a shitload of stuff to do as the summer pops up and I'm going to really need that help from everyone connected to the guild. I don't want to have it out with those two but yeah part of the reason we're not doing too well in the eyes of the GCD and rest of Gaia is because ninety-eight percent of my guild members are not doing what they can to promote the guild at all.

Hmm..I know some GCDers are kind and thank me for the thread, but others kinda just hate me for making it. I mean, I'm sorry if I stole someone's thunder and I'm not 'regular' enough. I don't see other people intentionally downvoting other thread makers. So, I guess from now on, I'll just leave it to the 'regulars'.

I agree with what Kags said. Those guys who go causing a fuss have classic "stuck in my ways" syndrome. They don't know how to adjust, or just plain refuse to bother to try anything new. Ignore them. If you have fun making update threads, keep at it. Even if you really are bent on not making them in GCD, you could make update threads in the guild. Then we can host our own in-guild discussions about the newest item updates. Remember, no door closes without a window being opened.

Thank you all for the encouragement, was just feeling down at the time, because I'm a bit bad with criticism. I might eventually do another thread, but probably not anytime soon. I do like the idea of a guild thread like that however. c: Maybe something to do in the future.

Pandora's Gate = mega letdown. I am not one bit impressed with this gate. Of all the items it contains, I only like three...and they're all backgrounds. Just my perspective, but it seems like the item quality has been going downhill on those gates. I think the next one needs to have completely new items in it instead of random recolors. I'm ok with maybe half a dozen of the items being re-releases of old stuff, but the rest need to be all new. This one is just not worth it as far as I'm concerned.

Celestine Ravencroft Pandora's Gate = mega letdown. I am not one bit impressed with this gate. Of all the items it contains, I only like three...and they're all backgrounds. However, the backgrounds are nice. Here's the other thing- most (not all) of the "new" items in that gate are just recolors of very recent monthly boxes. A lot of those items weren't all that great and really did not need recoloring. (biased perspective, but hey.) And as far as green goes, I agree that they could stand to chillax with the punk acid green/black motif and go for more of the tea green if they absolutely have to be in a green mood. I find the lack of purple disturbing. The one item that could be considered purple was just.....ick. I didn't even like it in the original, so I'm not bothering to keep it.

Yup..kinda just feels like a wasted effort in my opinion. I know of a few users that were really happy about this gate's turnout though. Hopefully more purple for the next gate as well as some newer 'better' items. I also don't like the fact they re-released some items from previous gates. It also felt like the gate items didn't fit the 'pandora' theme.

Hot Caffeinated Cree It also felt like the gate items didn't fit the 'pandora' theme. Exactly. Considering the theme, they should have either gone with things for Greek mythology villains or mythological monsters. We've got plenty of those items, plus some that need to be created. Some Minotaur items would be good, as well as stuff for the twelve main Olympians. Some of the lesser heroes would be good too. Actually, they should have put that kind of stuff in the Olympus gate (yet another epic fail).
