Narsyssa ((I Must have missed that last post sorry)) Thanis seeing the hail of arrows and the elves falling decides to make for the direction of fire. Double move straight for the point of origin. After removing a dagger from the ground. (( note, prepared longbows have massive range outdoors fired in vollies.)) They fired at their maximum extent, so its almost a 1/3 mile away, you see them, but they are far and past some small groups of infantry. You are amking progress and approaching the first group of about 15.

Aleran Thanatos allows his men to meet the oncoming elvish horde before he takes out his bow and begins to shoot into the back of the elven horde. ((you run past them then?))

Aleran Thanatos looks around the skirmish to see if any of his men are faltering and need help against the elves (spot check +11), if he sees any part of the line thats faltering he takes out his sword and charges over to reinforce the line. If there are multiple positions faltering he charges to the one that looks the weakest, and if none are faltering he continues to shoot things (+10 for bow, +7 for sword). some falter, but the line holds. Your men more than outnumber this group, halved from archer fire and magic. A hail of arrows shoots up from the elves.

Runnin', runnin', runnin'...
As the fog spell unfurls behind him, Lloish calls up to Susqueek: "Keep your eyes open, rodent friend. Perhaps you'll see the noble before I do."
(spot check for range to and location of elven noble, spot +7)

And being a pauper I should not appear a threat. and should they decide to attack, well... I can always defend myself.)) "Hoy!!!!"

(sorry for the confusion, I allow our troops to rush past me so they can engage the elves first, leaving me safely in the back, issueing orders, incoregment, and granting me the ability to servey the skirmish, especially from my higher vantage point on horse back). As the men continue their fight against the first elven brigade, Thanatos shouts commands over the ensuing battle. Then he procedes to look for the elf that commands this particular group. Once located he charges to meet him in one on one combat...unless hes out back, then he just settles for the classic, shoot him in the face approach. (Spot +11, Sword +7, and bow +10)

(yeah, it's definitely easier if Bigmage rolls damage. That decreases wait time between stuff happening, even if we don't get the dubious freedom of rolling our own dice...)
(Also, completely forgot to roll my spot vs. the noble. Here goes. Plus 7.)

You make it by group 1 without provocation, the second group you come upon isn't so distracted. Group amount: 5 archers, 7 infantry. You get first strike, but they are aggressive.

As of yet you are unhindered and now most of the way to your goal. Now roll dodge. twisted

He almost clears the distance between you in the 6 seconds of his turn.

This is the damage roll for Aleran. In other news, once more I have something to keep my free time from me, I'll be gone until next friday. In my stead, read this whited text on monday/tuesday. Hey, happy monday/tuesday, here's your fun. LizardRat- welcome yo the world of off center fireball Aleran- grapple, he rolls 12 + 5 str= 17 Narsyssa- one of the members of the group is more heavily laden and carries a crossbow which it will fire probably after your next move. He grins. So, well, see ya when I get back!

Thanatos watches as the elf charges forward, he puts his bow back on his back and draws his scimitar, and charges forward with his horse. (Curiousity, does he provoke like 15 attacks of opportunity for charging across the men, or are they distracted?) Either way same bonuses as i previously stated for sword, and ride is +13. First roles ride, second is sword.
