Rolling on her side had blessed her on this occasion, the fireball had shot overhead and missed her by a fair amount. If she'd been stood up it definitely would have been a much closer brush with 'death' but as it stood she was given a bit of a reprieve. That didn't mean she couldn't feel the heat as it passed over but at least it hadn't left her reeling like the last time.

...She'd had her fill of the warmth.

She did afford herself a quick glance downwards and acknowledged that on this occasion she was safe. No licks of flame had cast out firey soot and left her with portions of her soot alight. She was thankful for the small things at the moment, but as she did recover some of her strength she acknowledged that she couldn't stay down on the ground the whole time.

Tempting as it was, it was time to get up and but her back into this (again).

It was with a gusty sigh that she rocked forward and then finally jumped up, shaking herself off. She'd managed to navigate her way back to Mia, with Ananke and short distance away. Ananke had fortunately managed to grab hold of the 'kid' and while things weren't exactly peachy for any of them they were alive. Throat still a touch disgruntled from the soot the next cast of her senshi spell came out more as a squeak than a proper battle cry... but she could at least aim the encouraging smile towards all parties from this angle.

And after that?

Well, Adorea did what she did best.

Adorea threw another rock and this time it was with considerably more gusto; if she needed to colapse a damn platform then she might as well put some feeling into it.

Lost in the repetitive fury of hurling junk into holes, Mia nearly failed to notice that there was one more person to their little ragtag group than before. Ananke, whomever she'd saved, AND ADOREA. The surprise shook the woman out of her trance, causing her to stare for a moment at the admittedly dirty and rightfully annoyed redhead.

"How in the world did you survive that fall? And... and.." She gesticulated wildly. "Fire! Big fire!"

Quickly reclaiming her faculties, Mia was rewarded with a slightly dimmer but still nonetheless dazzling smile from Adorea. Once more she was left feeling more at ease and comfortable than before. Her more serious injuries remained, but to a lesser degree. Well, if she had a magical smile what was surviving a surely fatal fall and roasting after all? The smile was infectious, and she shot one back at her new friend.

With renewed vigor she kept hurling stuff and things at cracks and splits. It was the most nightmarish game of beanbag toss she'd ever played, but the combined effort of everyone throwing things seemed to be working. For once, Mia was able to see an attack coming despite her focus: waves of fireballs were blasting out in all directions, one screaming directly for her head... if she hadn't dropped into an easy crouch.

"Now THAT'S something I'm used to," the adventurer grumbled triumphantly, getting back to her feet and glancing warily for more pyrotechnic assaults from the frazzled beast on the bigtop. "You'd be amazed how many ancient civilizations like to try and toast you with some kind of fire trap. It's a classic, but overdone."

To punctuate her point she sent a bent piece of pipe whirling into a nearby crevice with a firm nod.
