"That armor ties into using the critical finisher......something about going on a role not losing any of your armor and you could use that move when the meter was at full?...."

There's this orb each character has next to their HP. The more you block, the redder the orb becomes. Also, when blocking, some of your armor'll come off. When your opponent's orb is fully red, and yours is still perfectly blue, you execute the CF by pressing all four buttons. Then it goes to a cutscene that ends with an instant KO.

Ephraim the Lunar Warrior Actually, in my opinion, L had a lot of luck on his side when he was going against Light. I think a lot of his deductions were absurd (strong word *_*) and not based on actual logic. I must say, he was intelligent, nevertheless.
(Sherlock Holmes was L's hero, by the way) And, someone did replace L, and proved to be even more intelligent (even though he was like 10, or something... disappointing... he was cruel for a 10-year-old. I wanted L to win crying ...)
That little kid also relied on a lot of luck, etc. So, technically, the reason L lost was because he had bad luck XD. It's a pity that girl committed suicide, though... "Hah! His deductions were not absurd, calling them absurd is an insult sir! I take that as a challenge. We fight at Dawn! But I can't get up that early so . . .
I know that, gah! But I've liked Sherlock way before death note. I basically did read all the books, ( I read to like 10 maybe? I can't remember it's all a mesh ) but Near and Mellow were tiring after a while. Though Mellow I thought was pretty interesting in his own way too. Near, eh. He kind of was well . . . eh. I can't describe it! xD L should have won.
Which girl? Was it that detective's wife you're talking about, cause if so I agree.
I prefer other mangas over death note like Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, DNAngel, and a bunch of others I know too many for my own good sometimes.

Actually, no, I meant Kira's girlfriend (the one whose eyes he uses, and the girl who loses her eyes, and then makes the deal AGAIN!) She commits suicide at the end by making a big... jump.
And, yes, no matter what you say, my words are final unless CBK erases them for infringement of policy (ahaha, jkjk... she never would do that... unless I provoke her... like I'm doing now... areyoureadingthisCBK?'CauseI'mprovokingyou...hahahaha!! *cough*)
L was a fraud! He had too much luck on his side. If Kira hadn't been a police-officer's son, then he would never have been caught. NEVER.
It's all a plotline, I tell you... all a plotline.
Ahaha, I am teh funniez (as people say in the Internet)
