((We have 2 days left, right?))
Skiiy hugs Mairyela back, then looks out over the devastated city, and a plan quickly forms in his mind. "Alright, this is the way I see it. We should try and rebuild the city's defenses as quickly as possible, with Aes Sedai and Warders working together. Aes sedai can fix up the materials with the power and the Warders can put everything together, it should work pretty well. However, we should keep a force on reserve, the most likely time for an enemy to attack is when we are at our weakest, and that's now. This city hasn't fallen yet, and I don't plan to let it. We should also work on training a group of Aes Sedai to...was it link? I don't know much about it, but a linked group could probably put up a large shield around the city to block against an attack like that. It worked for them once, so they'll be likely to use it again, so we'll need to be ready. I think that we can get through this if everyone cooperates. It's not over yet."
Ligan wakes up at the bar in what is probably the last still standing tavern left in the entire city. Everyone had been there last night, it's not like there was any place else to go, and there had been a party that ranked in the top 10 parties he'd ever been to. After such a close encounter with their own mortality, people tended to towards enjoying their lives as much as possible before they died. The last thing he remembered was hitting on some woman at the bar...he'd seen her drug his alcohol, so he made sure to drug hers too...looking around, he could still see her passed out cold a couple of feet away. Laughing and shaking his head, he stumbles out of the bar, heading for the devastated Tower.

((Yup, two more days. *snickers at Ligan's awesomeness*))
Mercury clasped his hands in her own, but refused to forget about that strange feeling. She saw Hawk look behind him, and glanced past his shoulder, before looking back at him again, rather confused. "You're not trying to keep something from me, are you?" she asked curiously. She doubted that he was, but there was no telling.

((Ligan is a lot more fun to roleplay than Skiiy, but quite a bit more difficult...I have to try and be clever...harder than it sounds.))

Mercuryangel ((Yup, two more days. *snickers at Ligan's awesomeness*)) Mercury clasped his hands in her own, but refused to forget about that strange feeling. She saw Hawk look behind him, and glanced past his shoulder, before looking back at him again, rather confused. "You're not trying to keep something from me, are you?" she asked curiously. She doubted that he was, but there was no telling. No its nothing, its just an odd feeling but i cant figured out what it is yet. Something or someone is trying to reach my thoughts but cant really enter it. Its stinging my back now and then, but whatever or whoever is doing it, he or she is doing it cautiously so i cant detect his her location. You know well that i will never keep something from you he says. Drawing her to him and kiss her.

((Lol, Ligan does sound like quite the character!!))
Mairyela nodded at Skiiy's explination of what should be done. He always managed to cover every aspect of the situation, as well as making it sound easy. "Indeed, it is not over. Your plan sounds like a logical one, which I will look forward to be involved. First, though, the Keeper has asked me to Link with her today, and I must talk to her about that." Thinking over the plan, she added, "Also, I think a team of Aes Sedai and Warders should construct a number of housing centers, nothing too fancy but big enough for the people of the city to stay until homes can be rebuilt. The Tower doesn't have enough rooms for everyone."
With one last look, she turned towards the Tower. "I must see the Keeper now. Would you like to join me?"

Skiiy turns his head suddenly, staring at Mairyela. "Wait a second, Merc is back? She's okay? That's wonderful, ya, let's go ahead and head on up to her office, we can better organize how to make the best of this situation from there...I wonder how Ligan is doing..." With that final thought, Skiiy motions for Mairyela to go ahead and lead the way, rather than causing a spectacle by carrying her piggy-back again.

((Two days until Romvian destroys us, apparently, Ali. And Skiiy, don't worry about making a scene wink ))
Mairyela nodded at Skiiy, taking the lead and walking into the Tower. "Mercury Sedai is back, and from the clutches of Romvian no less. She appeared out of the blue, and in the Tower, when the battle was occuring. He took her from Tel'aran'rhiod, and returned her. And about Ligan, the last I saw, he was taking you to your quarters to rest."
Walking throught the main hall, she walked softly. Many were still asleep, and after the chaos of the day before, they deserved to rest. reaching the stairs, she made her way up. "I have to ask. How did you avoided the razor rain during the fighting?"

Skiiy grins as she asks the question, it had been one of his more clever actions. "Ah, yes, I was down at the docks, stopping those Trollocs, and the rain started to fall, ripped 'em to shreds. I dove into the water and hid at the bottom, using my powers to bring myself air. The rain merged with the river when it hit the surface, so I was safe. Unfortunately, the river is deep, and it took a lot of energy to get air down through the water, so I was pretty tired when I climbed up out of the water, I blacked out. I trust you and the others in the Tower were okay? You didn't get into too much trouble or make Ligan work too hard, did you?"
((Because you kinda have to make Ligan do stuff to get anything out of him.))

(( *reads that again* confused You have to make him do stuff so that he'll do stuff? That's how I interpreted it...but that must not be right, since it only halfway makes sense.
Oh and Mini, unless you're up for mindless hours of levelling, I'd stay away from FF 12. Instead, get hooked on Elite Beat Agents!! *curses her friend for getting her into that game* ))
Mercury let him draw her, but couldn't stop herself from asking the rather obvious question. "Are you sure that we shouldn't be worrying more about this?" After all, whenever people tried to break into her mind, she generally went into Tel'ar'an'hoid and delivered them a vicious backlash. Unless of course they were an ally. It would seem she'd need to find a new way to fight back to that too.

((Psh, or you could ask someone who knows stuff about videogames...
Skiiy<----
Naw, I'm just kidding. Ya, FFXII looked like a drop of the ball. I fear Final Fantasy will soon die. Just like the Playstation...(Yay!). I've been playing...Trauma Center: Under the Knife. I managed to freeze the game the other day cause there were too many cuts in the organ and the DS couldn't handle it man. It was awesome.))

((o.0 Trauma Center, huh? Sounds like an interesting game. I was looking at it the other day, actually. And I'll take your advice Merc. It looks good, but I hear it hasn't gotten the reviews it was expecting. Me and my sis are still stuck in .HACK//Infection, and it's pissing me off stare ))
Mairyela nodded at Skiiy's reply, and was quite impressed by it. I doubt many sisters would have thought of that...she thought. "I never realized how great your power with Air was, though after watching you leap from windows should have explained it all. As for us in the Tower..." she had to swallow back a lump in her throat, "there were more casualties than I would have expected. Many of them were initiates who were unexperienced in such a situation. I suppose this should teach us to change the way we are teaching our novices and Accepted. I also head a Yellow sister burned herself out helping all the wounded. The Trollocs and the rain certainly took it's toll."
Reaching the top floor, she stopped and looked back at Skiiy. "As for myself, trouble seemes to enjoy following me of late. And I'm sure Ligan was busy helping the city people as they came in. I didn't see him in the Tower, so he must have been outside somewhere."

((No luck beating Skeith yet? He's easily the hardest of the phases I've come across so far...and this is all before...*cough* Never mind. Don't want to spoil it for you two.
The story and graphics of FF 12 are good/acceptable, but their construction of bosses and what not? So not wonderful. I walked into a clearing (just a random clearing) and ended up fighting a boss who was SO there for no reason!! stressed And then this actual boss is like an exponential growth step, instead of a steady growth step.
Trauma looked good, but I don't have a DS...))

Mercury sighed, knowing that she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep now. So she got up, and went into the washroom to comb her hair into a semblance of order. The regular morning routine ensued, and then she changed dresses, which turned out to be a grey colored one, and rubbed her eyes one last time to make sure she was awake.
First she'd have to talk to Mairyela, and then the Browns. And Yellows too. Then Tar Valon had to be mended, and then she would have to talk to Mairyela....again. Yes, that seemed about right.

((Yeah, Skeith won't die! No matter how I go at him... crying b*****d...and what was that cough? Is there something harder coming up? eek Please God, don't tell me there's a harder boss! And I think I might get Trauma...I dunno.))
With a last feral grin, Mairyela walked down the hall to the Keepers quarters. The door was closed, which ment it was probably in use. Good, she thought. At least I won't have to go track her down. Stifling a yawn, she gave the door a quick rap with her knuckles.
((A post of boredom xp ))
