The two bikes' roaring engines were lost in the general chaotic traffic of Gotham. Robin weaved back and forth between cars, taking the quickest route to Police HQ that he knew.
"We'll need to take this slow, all right?"
He spoke through the linked transmitter device in his helmet.
"Be prepared to split if things get too dangerous. Commissioner Gordon hasn't seen any of us for a long time, and judging by the way the police are responding to us... this may be a rough visit."
Tim didn't blame them, with that 'fake Batman' business...

kept up with Robin with ease, knowing the streets as well as he did. She shook her head to Tim's comments. "I saw him not too long ago and had a nice long conversation... And later that day I poked at Bullock." She snickered.
"I'm thinking of going in through the window... What about chu?" She asked as she dodged a car.
Crystal swerved around a corner suddenly. "Follow me. This alley should take us right to Police HQ."

Tim blinked.
"....Oh..... wait!"
He skidded to a stop when Crystal changed directions before he turned around.
"...."
Robin followed her anyway, quickly recalculating his approach and keeping silent for a bit as he did so.
"Okay. Even so. Things have been really weird lately. Especially with the 'fake' Bats. Trust may be wearing a little thin right now."

Crystal stayed on the back allies. She made a turn onto another ally to miss a dead end of a rotting fence. "I guess but you didn't answer my question about the window approach... It would be the easiest entrance to be able to back out of if things are a sour as you think."
She then spun to face another ally, stopping dead at the start of it, revving her engine. At the end of the ally was a decently tall building. "HQ should be on the other side."

Oh. This way. Robin knew exactly where Crystal's route would take them.
"Agreed. Window entrance."
He stopped next to her and nodded, ready to take the ride. Tim still wished he had his Redbird for this.

Crystal spun her tire out till it had enough speed to it then let go of the front break, taking off towards the end of the alley. she popped a wheelie and hit the front wheel onto the side wall, having enough force she was able to drive up it the wall.
Once over the middle building she hopped the bike off the wall she was on and onto the roof, coming to a stop. "Good a place as any to make more detailed plans." She could see the Commissioner's office from the rooftop, along with the rest of the front of the HQ.

Robin followed, taking basically the exact measures Crystal did to make it up the wall. It was nice, having especially made bikes for crazy stuff like this. Robin covered his eyes with the dark green lensed mask once more, at the same time swinging his leg over the bike to walk toward Crystal. He looked at the intended window from where they stood.
"Perfect. So... what did you and Gordon talk about last time?"
Maybe just a quick update would help the matter.

Crystal pulled some binoculars out of a random pocket and looked through them at the Comish's office. "Oh not much. Just catching up.. And why I vanished for five years before the merger...."
She sighed and handed the binoculars, rubbing her temple. "Just how do you want to do this?"

After the binoculars were handed to him, Robin looked through them a moment before handing them back. He started listing the plan that had been in his head for a while now.
"Approach with care...try to make friends...match up data...and if worse comes to worse, bail using this."
He smiled, pulling out a zipline from his belt. Tim had done this exact procedure countless times, basically reaching this same office from any and every angle. This was probably the most fun approach, from this building.
"Objections?"

Crystal grinned wide, showing off her teeth. They were now noticeably sharper than before the little island excursion. "Yah, you forgot the part when Gordon gets the bejeebus scared outta him because we get in so quietly."
She laughed. That was always her favorite part of visiting Gordon, last time she was nice to sit in his window sill till he noticed her. Although it seemed to her that a little fun was in order tonight and she was ready to roll.

Robin widened his grin.
"Well, of course that comes first."
After securing a line between the buildings, he slid across it and cushioned against the wall with a vertical crouch. Tim quickly stepped on the sill so Crystal could follow and looked through the pane before working silently on opening the window. This was it.
