Celestine Ravencroft Just an update on my eye issues. Mom says it sound like I have a cold in my eye. I'm not sure how that even works, but there you have it. All I can do is take antihistamines and wait this out. I'm just glad it isn't something like pinkeye that would require doctor visits and prescriptions because I can't afford anything. Uh-oh. :c sounds kinda painful actually. I've had pinkeye before and it's not very fun. *hug* I hope it gets better soon. Just get plenty of rest and hopefully the antihistamines will do their job too.

Just get plenty of rest and hopefully the antihistamines will do their job too. Funny thing is, it isn't painful at all. Just super annoying. The eyeball doesn't itch or burn. There's no irritation at all. Just constant watering. Mom's got me taking two grape seed extract now plus the only allergy meds left in the house, so hopefully this will clear up on another day or so.

I've got tons of ideas for the duration of our characters' first stay at the Barton Manor. There's one scene I'd like to do, but I'll need at least a few peeps to be in the Manor kitchen looking for snacks. That might actually be a good way to break the ice with our senshi and start our group.
I keep picturing everyone being worn out and unsure of just what to do, so Cae suggests refreshments, and everyone heads to the Manor kitchen. It'll be one rare time that Lunette isn't acting like some self-righteous crabby patty.

I'd join in the Barton manor stuff if I somehow get the time, after all who doesn't love it when Ren blows something up in the basement. Also hope the pinkeye gets better soon Cel I used to get that all the time as a kid.

This is so unusual for a Friday night. It's twenty-five past eight on the eastern seaboard and I'm still waiting for someone to pop by in Towns 1. Usually, I get at least one person or at least a reason why people are unable to come. I'm quite puzzled by this.

My reason is simply because I'm just too exhausted to bother with much tonight. I've had an unusually busy past few days, and tomorrow won't be any better. We've got to try to get several major errands run first thing in the morning when mom gets home from work, all before the rain starts turning to snow.

More damn snow. Uh-uh. I'm getting the damn shovels out of the garage, because I'm NOT having a repeat of what happened last year when the cold temps FROZE THE GARAGE DOOR SHUT. And then I had to fight with it for 20 minutes.
Good lord, just melt already, snow. Kinda makes me wonder why I'm actually looking forward to my spring allergies for once.

Okay I'm sure Kags, who is from Wisconsin, can attest to what I'm about to say. If you have Jones for Culver's you're going there for a very specific reason, the cheese curds. You go to Culver's you go because you want the dang cheese curds, unless you go specifically for the frozen custard. But when you get your sandwich (be it butter burger or chicken) you want those cheese curds to go with it. That said, when you tell the guy behind the counter you want cheese curds he better well punch in cheese curds on the register not cheese fries, which by the way didn't even have runny enough cheese sauce to constitute good cheese fries. Yep, never getting cheese fries from a non Wisconsin or Illinois Culver's again. And next time I'll pay closer attention to the register to see that it says Cheese Curds not Cheese Fries.
You go to Culver's for the fried cheese curds darn it! That is if you don't drive around for ten minutes forgetting where a very obvious place is located first. xp

We've got a Culver's right here in town. I've never ordered cheese curds, but so far they've gotten my orders correct every time. I mostly just go for the frozen custard shakes, but it's a super rare thing anymore.

I am so sick of winter at this point, I'd almost rather put up with the rainy spring I'm sure we're in for. All I know is it had better not snow next week during mom's last week at work, or she'll go ballistic. She's already stressed enough as it is because Karma is making her job more of a pain since she's just got 7 shifts left to go before she's officially retired. Cross your fingers and hope we both get jobs before the end of the month.

They're fried and cheesy and squeaky and just so dang good.

Um... What is winter? I think Southern California had about two weeks of winter, TOTAL, spread out over the last few months. AND NOW IT FEELS LIKE FREAKIN EARLY SUMMER OR MID FALL. EIGHTY DEGREES THIS WHOLE WEEK. emotion_donotwant
