Raven was listening intently to the headmistress's words and found herself quite impressed with what she said. She kept it short and simple, but she provided the information that she needed to clearly. She didn't give away too much that might cause mass panic, but she gave what was needed.

The calm didn't last long, though. A few screams and shouts suddenly sounded throughout the auditorium and a few girls from different areas of the crowd got out of their seats, worked their way to a nearby aisle, and ran out of the auditorium. They were freaking out! They were either claustrophobic and hated the idea of being trapped here, or they probably knew something very bad was coming for all of these drastic changes to be made. Well this was bad. Hopefully the nurse Meimei would be able to go after the students and calm them down, or at least sedate them.

Bo looked at Aurora with eyes that slightly went wide. A shapeshifter? He'd just assumed she was a human like him, but that didn't effect his opinion of her. Or his crush he obviously had for her. "Wow, a shapeshifter, that's really cool!" Why was this that exciting? He hadn't acted this amazed when Mr. Brandt told him he was a demigod. Maybe things like this were different when they were about a girl you liked. Who knew?

Luli watched as Akira came over to their little group, and wondered what it was this girl was going on about. She, along with her brother had been inside for the incident. They had no clue what was going on outside while the Brandt clan was outside. From what she could hear, it sounded pretty rough.

Sam was looking around the room, worrying where her brother was at right now. They'd forgotten, or atleast she thought they had, to get Tyler and wake him up. She didn't feel safe without Ty with her, though Bo and Luli made her feel slightly more secure.

When Arielle Krause stood before everyone and spoke, she finally understood what was up with that barrier. So they couldn't leave, that was okay with Sam. She liked it at Bai Ching, and was planning on talking to the Headmistress about applying. And plus her dad couldn't leave them now, which made her happy. She didn't even consider the fact he'd just leave knowing he couldn't come back. Sam didn't really know her father as well as she wised she did.

He grumbled and rolled his eyes as she poked his jaw, not wanting to willingly admit that it hurt when she did that. Must be the jock in him deep down. "Don't sweat it, I played sports for years in high school. I've gotten hurt worse than this." Those injuries could never compare to what the Institution did to him, but he really didn't want to talk about that, especially to a stranger.

As they got closer to the auditorium, Ty could see his sister inside and felt the ache of being separated from her. He turned to Ari and smiled. "Your welcome, catch you inside." Ty said eagerly as he ran off to sit next to his sister. He passed by Akira without so much as a word, but he did notice she was there. He was oblivious to her crushing on him, too concerned with his own affairs to notice. After sitting next to his siter, she immediately turned to him and hugged him, which he returned just as gladly. Despite the short time together, for the past two years, they were each others everything. Though, deep down he worried she put their father above him. He'd just never admit it.

After he came down from his high in God mode, Nik re lived the experience he'd missed while his God form had been in disgust of Ever. He couldn't help what he was anymore than she could, it's just something he'd have to deal with. He regained his composure and dressed himself back into his clothes, after properly removing the scent from his body of course. The last thing he needed was for Krause to throw a hissy for screwing one of her precious daughters.

Evermore was gone, but he barely noticed. The post-sex went on silently between them, something Nik was glad for. He combed his hair and put his shades back on, hiding his flaming blue eyes that always intensified after excursions like this one. Not that he minded after all. Upon checking his cellular, he had a couple text from people wondering where he was. He decided to leave them unanswered. Nik wasn't in the mood for talking to them.

He walked down the silent hallway, everyone already at their destination of the auditorium. He sensed his clan was there as well, so he figured he could drop in a visit as well. He missed Krause's little speech as he stepped in the doorway, passing by Ari in an eagerness to see what was up. Or just the sheer fact talking to her wasn't on the top of his either. Take your pick. He looked at his motley bunch and grinned, wondering why he could ever have to seek love from anyone else while he had these guys. Except Ty probably, though maybe one day he'll warm up to him.

From what he could see, it looked like Aurora might soon become a member of his clan also, seeing from the grip she had on Bo's arm, and the angry expression of her not so little feline. It brought to him a pleased expression to watch them all. He didn't want to walk over, knowing his presence would ruin it all.

Aurora was worried now. She would freely admit that she was worried. Very worried. There had been... a battle the night before! She bit her lip and her grip tightened a bit on Bo's arm. None of this sounded good. It was scary, almost. Altan could feel her emotions, and he tried to comfort her by rubbing his head against her cheek. She absently stroked his fur in thanks before turning to Bo. "This worries me," she admitted to him.

He heard the Headmistress's words as well, and felt his stomach slightly knot up in fear. What did this mean for the MuRong twins? That they were to be forced into this as well? Things were so simple working at the cafe, he wished he could just go back. Bo was so bothered in fact, that he barely noticed Altan hop into Aurora's lap. That's not a good sign.

When she turned to him and told him she was worried, his emotions took a drastic turn. A complete 360 actually. How can he sit here in fear, when Aurora and probably his sister also needed him? He couldn't, he needed to be a rock, despite his desire to run to Mr. Brandt and hide behind him. He turned back to her, and forced slight smile, though it was not steady. "Everything will work out for the best, I'm almost sure of it. The Headmistress has us protected, and there's even a couple Gods on the premises." He tried to sound confident, and avoided looking at Luli for that brief confidence.

Aurora could tell that Bo was just as scared as she was, if not more, and the fact that he tried to bury it to show a brave face made her smile in thanks. She leaned over and kissed his cheek, even. "Thank you, Bo," she said, quietly.

On her lap, Altan was silently angered, feeling underappreciated since that boy was taking his Aurora's attention away from him, but he didn't act on his emotions. Instead, he simply glared heatedly at the chair in front of them.

Ari just smiled and nodded as Ty went in to meet up with his sister. It was sweet, she decided, and momentarily wished she had a sibling of her own. Alas, her mother and father hadn't parted on good terms, so she was an only child. Ari listened to the Headmistress' speech, and nodded in agreement. It was fair... and at least there was only 2 hour classes now... but they were mandatory. As Musica came in, she smiled and waved, but he blew right past her. That stung a bit... ok, a lot. She remembered when she was in the bathroom with Ty, and she had sensed his aura with Evermore's. Could they have...? But no... could they?

Ari sighed and leaned against the wall. She didn't feel anything... just hollow. She hated it. She wanted to feel something! Ari thought they'd had feelings for each other... a connection. Maybe she was wrong, and maybe he didn't care as much as he let on. She felt a wetness gathering at the corner of her eyes, and brushed it away impatiently.

Caroline, by the miracles of dorm mates, and woken up and rushed downstairs in time for the assembly. Her seat was towards the back of the hall, her white hair like a signal beacon to anyone looking at or for her. Not that anyone likely was. All the girls were focused on the Headmistress right now.

She slouched down in her seat a bit, listening to the solemn announcements. A barrier because something had happened – a skirmish – she really needed to stop sleeping through these things.

“Mandatory classes,” she repeated to herself. “… And the classes were optional before?”

Caroline sat up and called out to the front of the hall where the Headmistress was conducting the emergency assembly. ¬Her voice was quite loud, and carried very well.

“So what is happening outside the borders?”

So what if details took a while? Surely Headmistress Krause could spare something – at least an inkling of what’s going on.

{{She said that the Saturday classes that will begin that week are mandatory. She's not talking about the regular classes.}}

Arielle gazed at Caroline, having easily picked her voice out of the crowd. She gazed for a long moment, not wishing to divulge such information. It wouldn't be good for these girls, the sweet girls, to know that there was a war taking place outside the borders of their school, because she knew it would cause much unneeded fear and paranoia--but...

But Arielle was a smart woman. She knew when the bad news was necessary, whether it was something that was good for them to hear or not. She resigned herself to telling them. If they were not told... goodness knows what would happen. They would be unprepared, they wouldn't take the Saturday classes seriously, they might even... even... No! She wouldn't let herself think such thoughts.

With a large breath, Arielle grimly announced, "The world is at the brink of war."

((lol, that's not what Caroline meant.))

Caroline blinked, and stared at Headmistress Krause. "Oh," she said simply, before slouching back down again.

"Fffffffffffuuuuu......"

A war, really? That would be... devastating. Were there nations warring? Did China decide to assimilate one of its neighbors again? Did North Korea launch a nuclear missile? Was it the Taliban?

For Caroline, who played so many shooter games, all sorts of ridiculous explodey scenarios started going through her head.

Anita stumbled out of her dorm, slamming the door behind her. She looked around, blushing. But why? It's not like anyone was around to hear. They had all gathered for an assembly!
She raced down the stairs and managed to sneak in without causing a scene.
She took a seat in the far back, squeezing her way into one of the last available seats. She cursed herself under her breath for sleeping in so late. Not wanting to ask the person next to her what was going on, she kept her eyes forward, listening attentively, hoping- just hoping- to catch up on the news, which, from the look on the headmistresses face, was quite serious.

((Sorry for the delay!))

Akira just started at the Headmistress in utter disbelief, unsure how to react or feel at the moment, so she stayed as still as a statue.

She'd just learned that she'd been in a huge a** FIGHT yesterday, that she was now suppose to take Mandatory fighting lessons on Saturday of all the days and finally (thank the heavens) that the world was at WAR!?

What the hell!!!

"...Woah..."

More than anything, Akira wanted her memories back NOW (or at least before Saturday). They suddenly felt incredibly important and would help her understand and make sense of everything and anything that she was suppose to know. The Demonic girl wouldn't afford to be a burden!!

She glanced up when a boy walked past her to take a seat near the girl next to Aurora, and wondered for a moment if she knew him or not. Her heart wasn't reacting weirdly, so maybe he was a stranger after all? Oh well.

Holy Emperor Raigin

A young man stood up from the crowd, he wore a pair of dirty Jeans, the knees died brown and green from working on the ground. This man was the single reason Bai ching remained such a beautiful place. He had bright blue eyes and long blonde hair that reached down to his shoulders and his body was well muscled and tanned from years of hard labor under the hot sun.

Clearing his throat he bowed respectfully to the head mistress before speaking. "I Raigin yukoto, Pledge my services to protect the school and students. I am a fairly skilled fighter... as long as I don't have t physically fight a women. Also, m'lady I finished the garden you requested in the side yard and the leek in the roof over B-wing is repaired as requested." he said calmly. A small lock of hair falling forward over his face revealing a pointed ear beneath.
