((yeah your right Thunderclan should have a deputy but ima new warrior so it should be Firefang but he never really comes on))

The she cat watched as Rainpaw sprinted over to the nursery with her fresh kill. And a sudden thought occured to Dawnfrost Willowstar needs to choose a new deputy before moonhigh! She worriedly looked around the sparsley populated camp.

(To make things smoother what if Greythroat was deputy before? Just to make things make sense. And I think Firefang should be deputy. Hasn't been much to post for Firefang lately. Nightkit has been too busy being a bit of a drama queen xp )

Crescent carried his prey and put into the fresh kill pile. He laid down and began to wash his white pelt.

Nightkit looked around and mewed loudly "We need a new deputy! Who s it gonna be? I bet it will be Firefang." the she-kit meowed as she glanced over at the tom.

oh yea i forgot we needed a new deputy...i mewed grief filling my voice as i thought of greythroat

(( yeah i can make another cat too but i also sent out a PM to the thunderclan cats who dont post very often asking them to post and i only got one reply so far so i hope things pick up))

((Sorry I haven't post I've been at a loss...when you are in doubt of who a cat is, There is a profile thread, and angel also had a place set up where we could see which cat had what position in what cla you can find all these from the main page :3 oh and Moonblaze is our deputy, and I messaged all the inactive members after seeing radio's suggestion))

((oh flubb! What happened to Moonblaze? Sorry I haven't posted in a while! Did he die while I was gone? Or did I just get kicked out?))

Moonblaze would truely miss his Clanmates. He was supposed to be stronger than this. If he had been a better warrior neither of those cats would be dead! He hissed at himself for being such a mouse-brain. "Moonblaze, there was nothing you could've done-" Tigerflower was cut off by Moonblaze's yowl. "I could've saved them! I could've if I had tried harder! I'm just . . ." he sighed. "I'm just not a good deputy, or a good warrior." He finished. He looked at Tigerflower, expecting her gaze to be furious or frustrated, but instead she held his gaze and had a sense of understanding in her eyes. "You can't blame yourself." she mewed. "It wasn't your fault, and you know it. You did your best, you had your fair share of injuries. If you had tried any harder you'd be on your way to Starclan and they'd still be gone." she finished harshly.
"I should be on my way to Starclan, I-"
"Don't even begin to say that! Have you even thought about how much Thunderclan needs you? How Whitekit needs you? How I need you!?"
Moonblaze flinched as if he'd been swiped across the face. To tell the truth he hadn't actually thought about his kin; he hadn't even thought about his own mate. . .
Tigerflower growled and stalked back to the nursery where Whitekit stared at them both as if they were crazy. "Come inside Whitekit." He heard Tigerflower growl. Whitekit nodded and scampered into the den.

At the sounds of Moonblaze's and Tigrflower's yowling, Firefang turned hs attention to them. He felt a pang of sympathy as the deputy began to blame himself for the their clanmates' deaths. With a sigh, the orange tom who normally was truly sharp-tongued without a regret padded over to Moonblaze and draped his tail over the other's shoulders. "You could do no more than the rest of us. Not even Willowstar could have, and she's already moved on," he offered.

Moonblaze looked up at the orange tom. "Thank you Firefang. I just wish there was something I could've done." he sighed. "And you know how much Sandpelt meant to Whitekit. I was hoping Sandpelt would be Whitekit's mentor. And they both died bravely. And I'm angry at myself for the way I'm acting. If the Clan is to be strong then both leader and deputy need to be brave." He looked up in the sky, knowing his ansectors were watching. "I only hope Willowstar made the right choice when she made me deputy. . ."
Whitekit
Whitekit had never seen her mother so angry. She knew the she-cat had a temper, but never like this, and especially never to Moonblaze. "Mother . . ." Whitekit mewed. "What?" Tigerflower hissed, nearly yowling at her. Whitekit flinched, but didn't back down. "What's going on with you and Moonblaze?" she asked bravely. Holding her head up high and her ears tucked against her head. Tigerflower sighed. "Your father is being more arragont and mouse-brained than a new-born kit. I got angry with him, but we'll be alright by daybreak." she assured her. Whitekit glared at her mother. but said nothing. Instead she curled up into a ball and closed her eyes, hoping to escape into a dream where she was a mighty leader of the most powerful Clan in the forest.

The she cat got Firefang's locations and saw him talking to the deputy Moonblaze. MOONBLAZE!? we all thought he was dead. and there in the shadows of the nursery was Tigerflower and Whitekit.

Where has he been? she replied muted for Rainpaw's ears only. So is he still deputy or will Firefang still take his place? she gazed at the apprentice. Well what now? she padded and also placed her tail on the warriors back.

whats going on now? should i hunt? everyone seems pretty busy with the new... information i mewed

Moonblaze looked at his Clan apologetically. He probably had them worried sick, after all when he ran off bevause of what had happened. . . they probably thought he was dead. "I'm sorry that I didn't return sooner." he mewed. "I had to find someplace to think clearly." He knew now what Tigerflower was talking about. Everyone had been convinced he was dead. And he probably scared Whitekit out of her pelt, she probably thought Moonblaze was a spirit. "Excuse me for a moment." he mewed apologetically. He scampered off without anothe word and nearly leapt into the nursery. "Tigerflower!" He yowled. The tortise shell she-cat turned with a hiss. Moonblaze didn't care. He bounded up to her and began licking her head. "I'm so sorry." He mewed in between licks. "I shouldn't have yelled at you, I shouldn't have runff, and I shouldn't be blaming myself for our clanmates deaths." Moonblaze felt Tigerflower stiffen, but then she relaxed and purred. "You're forgiven." she mewed. He saw the she-cat turn and wink at Whitekit. What's that supposed to mean? He wondered to himself. Oh well, all that matters is that I keep doing the best for my Clan!
