You guys better not say anything to Tim you hear me? And you /three/ need to not tell anyone anything you've read or seen... even if it's silly, like if those comics had Grayson's /Holy smokes Batman/ in them."
Kai wasn't that good at imitating Grayson but she tried. She knew he used to be like that because Tim had told her... that and Grayson still had that same sense of humor. She kept driving and looked over to them to see if they agreed not to mention anything they had read. She was also very curious as to if she'd been in those books or movies.

Oncaro ((Hey Maho, is d**k still with Kai? Because I so want to take the reigns back from Soulless and have him say something about what Kai just said, if he is.)) ((d**k is in the sewers with Macready and Jinx tracking down Dr. Chimera and and Kai is driving the 3 Cajuns back to the cave. I was playing Grayson since Soul is SOL for internet at this point ^^))

"You can count on us, che'." Arell said with a smirk as C.J. laughed a little.
"We won't tell a soul, but I remember the 'Holy smokes, Batman' . . . always got me to crack up a little." he said with a smile as Dundee looked up at them. His eyes read like he'd be laughing at the fact of Badass d**k Grayson playing the mere second fiddle to Batman. Even though the three weren't the biggest batman fans, they did enjoy watching the old Adam West reruns on TV.

Macready glanced to Nightwing and to 'Batgirl', then simply shrugged, "Okay, I guess it's three of us going after the mad scientist in the sewers. Let's get to it then, before he gets clean away."
Jinx followed both Nightwing and Big Daddy down the sewer tunnel; 'Batgirl' turned toward Nightwing asking, "I guess I missed something here..." While looking at Richard, Jinx waited until he looked her way, and she made a quick hard glance toward Macready before locking gazes with Nightwing meaningfully.

Kai paused a moment listening to them laugh. She then glanced at two of the Cajuns with a curious expression.
"So... was I in those comics? Probably not... I'm not cool enough for anything like that, I was just wondering."
She looked back at the road, almost in disbelief that their world could exist in a comic or movie. And the thought crossed her mind as to who would even be able to act Batman in a movie. Something like that would be a pain to do accurately... who would act as the joker. A small shiver moved up her back, barely noticeable but it did make her hair stand up. Worst acting job ever. She didn't even like the real joker she wouldn't watch anything where someone was pretending to be him. Or any of their criminals for that matter.

Grayson ran up to Macready after glancing at Jinx. He knew if they were going to catch him they would have to go as quickly as their feet could carry them if he'd been running too. Grayson heard what Jinx had said but for lack of an answer he turned to her.
"No, you didn't miss much."
It was clear where the water had been disturbed in the sewers up to a point where it had shallowed to nothing. They had reached a part of the sewers where it was dry, which was good for them but not for tracking purposes.
"You got a tracker on him Macready?"
The best bet to finding a criminal, TRACKER. Always have them ready he didn't get to see Kane though unfortunately so he wasn't able to use one on the man himself so he hoped that this guy had one.
Meanwhile, Kane ran down the tunnels to drier ground to help throw them off his trail once he felt he'd gotten far enough away he found a cover and climbed up pushing out as quietly as possible. He peeked above ground to see if traffic was coming. After seeing that it was clear for the time being he pushed the cover to the side climbing out with a heaved breath. <******** if they find me... at least the Summers will bail me out... Hopefully not though I don't want to kill any criminals. They're so nerve racking."
He shook his head a little after quietly saying this to himself. He saw the nearby light change for traffic to start through. So he hurriedly put the cap back on in a semi-quiet manner stepping away to the dark alleys of Gotham.

"Not yet . . . however, I betcha it could happen!" C.J. said with a laugh as they went down the road, even Arell, probably the one that was most likely NOT in the Red Cardinal friend area was smirking a little bit.
"Always a poss'bility, che'. I'd read it." Arell said with a smile as Dundee's eyes went up in surprise.
Arell can READ?!? Since WHEN?! Dundee thought.

Kai looked out the window before glancing at Arell. She really didn't think he gave s**t about her... especially considering he'd gone and shot her, even if it was on accident he should have stayed with her. In her mind he should have stayed with her. She tried taking her mind off the fact that he'd done something so stupid, so uncaring to her back at the tower and more on the fact that because of that she didn't feel like sharing anything with him. If she was going to share anything it would be with C.J. Or Dundee since they seemed to not be thoughtless southerns. It would take some time, before she'd even begin to truly forgive Arell, or get used to him.

"Well you're riding around with a former bank robber, a circus train mechanic and a broke musician and former moonshiner. Don't matter 'bout your past, only that you're here now." C.J. said as he sucked on a toothpick. Of course, Arell was trained to hide his emotions. When your stepfather teaches you how to be tough as a Marine, have to rob banks to survive sometimes and see things that would make mere mortals break, Arell usually avoided showing emotions . . . except when it mattered. Of course, Arell, if annoyed was also not against plugging the annoyance repeatedly in the chest.
However, most of Arell's emotions appeared more in the other two, C.J. and Dundee (when Dundee wasn't paralyzed and being the human log). Dundee looked around at the three, just staying put . . . because really, that's all he COULD do.
C.J. smirked as he rolled down a window and watched the world roll by. He was completely okay with the fact Arell was a former bank robber and that he ran whiskey. In comparison of the stuff in this new universe, that was kids' stuff.

Kai tapped a hand on the steering wheel, the music that they had chosen was slightly irritating to her but she has traveled the world and had to be able to tolerate many things. She then looked over noticing C.J. had rolled down the window.
"Don't start smoking first off, and second this is Gotham why the hell do you have the window down?"
Of course having a window down in Gotham was a good Idea right? Kai knows that windows are open opportunities to get to someone. Especially for the gangs who work for some of the crime bosses in Gotham. That and the air was polluted and smoggy. Kai then contemplated if she'd rather smell Cajuns and sewer water or the smoggy pollution of Gotham.

C.J. smirked. Clearly Kai was FAR from being a Rockabilly fan . . . of course, the window thing?
"I don't smoke . . . I just like having the window down. Besides, I did this in Baltimore and Dundalk . . . and I'm still here." he said with a smirk. The other two were rather indifferent. Arell was just there, kinda meditating almost and Dundee . . . no, no joke at Dundee's expense. He may come back from paralysis and hit the narrator over the head with a wrench. Of course, Arell looked back at C.J.
"Ceej, did Dundee fart again?!" Arell asked in a half growl as C.J. shrugged.
"Nah. Just gettin' fresh-er air. Kinda reminds me a' Baltimore." he said with a smile.

Kai reached forward and hit the music player off.
"Sorry guys Gotham... best to not make noise you know."
Mostly because she didn't want to listen to it but what Gotham criminal would want to hear prey coming around the corner.

"Aside from that ******** we've rarely lost fights." C.J. growled. The song had actually gotten to a good part . . . especially 'cause Arell had to learn that tune to play for some band a guy from California was looking to form. Some guy named Bobby Lane . . . who names their kid THAT?!?
"Che', she knows what she doin'. Besides, dat tape was near worn out anyways." Arell said as Dundee rolled his eyes.
Wow, first Arell and Kai are working together, now Arell and Kai have something to AGREE on!! What's this world coming to?! Dundee thought.
