Macready landed in the alley where Dr. Rockwell dissappeared, he had heard the clang of metal clearly here. Looking around for a door, checking a dumpster, the ex-police detective noticed the manhole. Two steps took Macready to the metal cover and he noticed fresh silvery marks on the edges of the covered apperture, Looks like we got a gopher...
Popping the manhole cover quietly, Macready made his way down -- sealing the hole behind him. Switching on the nightvision goggles and putting them over his cowled head, Macready made his way through the sewers already familiar with the underpassages of Gotham City. Using his military issue goggles and his sense of hearing acclimated to the sewers through which he's been traveling during his war with Gotham's Underworld, Macready followed fresh marks and the faint sounds made by Chimera.

"Funny, as always Grayson... You know kid Crushes don't last forever right?"
She asked rhetorically walking over to the cab of the truck.
"Oh, I know."
Grayson raised an eyebrow with a small smirk. He was teasing her, just as he always had been. He had gotten a headache, all the memories that somehow existed in his mind. He looked towards the way that Macready had left and then back to Kai.
"Think I'm going to help bring a Chimera to justice... and make sure that he isn't killed by that fake Batman. Adios Kai, see you back at the Mansion."
He hopped on his cycle putting on his helmet and waived at her. Grayson started up his blue and black cycle and started up driving down the Alleyways through the garbage to try and find where the action had headed looking for any traces of a struggle. It wasn't a block down through some alleys that he'd noticed some blood and a previously opened loose man hole cover that had been attempted to be cealed.
"That was easy, now gotta get Kai's Uncle before he's headless... or, dead..."
He lifted the Manhole cover and jumped down. His mask had a built in night vision lens courtesy of the batcave's new technology. He turned it on and headed down immediately spotting Macready just down the way.
"Hold it Macready."
Kai waived back at Grayson before he'd left and then looked at the guys and Jinx.
"Jinx could you follow Grayson and make sure he gets back to the cave safely... I'm going to take these dudes back to the cave so we can get Dundee fixed up before I pass out............... I can't believe I'm already tired again. I need some caffeine."
She took a heaved sigh and opened the other truck door getting into the drivers seat.

 Big Daddy stopped and whirled around with his MP5 leading, ready to dive either way as neccessary. Macready spoke back at Nightwing, "With all the creeps and freaks that are running loose in this burg, and you want to come after ME!?!? Are you out of your @#$^ing mind!?!?"

"Whoa, hold on... before you jump to conclusions I'd like to point out that I am going to help you arrest Dr. Chimera. Then we can talk about your, killing, after that that."
Grayson held his hands up and stood where he was not afraid just warry of the man holding the gun. This man really did look like a batman wannabe but he wouldn't necessarily point that out to him.

Macready thought a moment and then nodded, "Alright... we bring this guy in...hopefully not through Arkham's revolving door."

Jinx followed Nightwing into the sewer holding her nose, "Here we go again..."
'Batgirl' dropped into the sewer tunnel quickly catching up to Nightwing, sighting Macready in her low light vision, "Oooooookay, is there a reason why we have a Mexican Standoff?"

Arell opened the door to the truck on the shotgun side, surprised that Kai had taken the wheel. She looked around Dundee's age . . . but it was better she drive, they weren't exactly in the best mindframes right now, seeing as even the more peaceful C.J. was already plotting Kane's demise. "I think I got some coffee 'roun' heah somewhere." Arell said as C.J. looked up.
"Dude, we passed a sheetz on the way. Why not go there?" he asked, scratching his head as he sat down, carefully moving Dundee so he didn't sit on the paralyzed one.
"Dat's on de other side of de hole." Arell quipped, easing his thumb towards the big-a** hole in the ground.

"I'm not threatening anyone, I think we should get moving though... batgirl, so that we can catch that guy. Even if he's arrested for a couple days it's better than him being on the street."
Grayson put his hands down and walked towards Macready.
"I've only fought this man once before Batgirl. He really got to Kai, and, she refused to fight him fully. So I am guessing that, we shouldn't let him beat us, but also we shouldn't kill him okay guys."
Grayson couldn't remember why she didn't fight him. It was almost as if she'd forgotten everything Bruce had taught her. Bruce was looking into the reasoning and was rather upset that she would get herself in that situation... and he probably found out why she didn't fight but he never told Grayson that reason. If he did d**k couldn't remember why. His memories were still very vague on a lot of aspects of Kai and Damian.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"We are going strait to the cave guys... That's why I'm driving... that and I'm a little upset that, Kane showed up... and did this. I could have been beating some goons or something but instead he had me tired out with you guys and everything."
Kai shut the door to the drivers side and pulled the seat forward a bit. She put her hand on the key ignition and turned it starting the truck. Kai seemed a little more than unenthusiastic putting her hands on the steering wheel.
"More energy to waste on getting out of this traffic too, this is too perfect...anyway guys keep your hands and feet inside the truck and lets get out of here."
Kai spun the wheel nearly all the way around shoving the gear into reverse, without even looking back she turned back quickly spinning out the trucks tires a bit on start. She slammed the breaks and shifted into drive pushing forward towards the traffic. There was no breaks in the traffic except to into a brick building. Kai really didn't care if the guys were going freaking out due to her driving but they had to get out before the police arrived... and if anything get to the cave to help Dundee. If Kai couldn't help him she was sure that Alfred would be able to. After all he was the one who healed all of her wounds that she couldn't take care of herself. Kai drove directly into the building causing the truck and everything inside to slip intangibly through the building angling into the street through the other side as quickly as possible to lesson the amount of strain on her powers. When she reached a good uncrowded road that she didn't have to swerve to pass slow drivers she took a more legal in town speed and stopped at the next red light.
"You guys okay? I don't like traffic, just so you guys know."
Despite the quick driving she kept the truck intact and all the guys inside. She hadn't even put on her own seat belt and considering she never once got near the steering wheel or the door she did pretty good. It was no Bat mobile but it did have a good breaking and acceleration for a plain vehicle.
((Assumed that the three were in the truck dudes c: ))
((I think I can speak for the three of us . . . well two and a half if we count the human log. We're in the truck.))
"Dat's fine. We got biggah fish t' fry den coffee." Arell said as he settled in for the drive. Dundee, despite being quite paralyzed, would have been heaving . . . his eyes showing signs of fear. Why do I surround myself with fast-driving MANIACS?! Dundee thought as he looked up at C.J., who was calm, resting his arm by the window and seemed into the Rockabilly mixtape Arell had in the stereo, which was playing loud enough to get their attention, but quiet enough to talk.
Arell however, was uncharacteristically planning things in his head. He had to change up his tactics for this dude. However, C.J. broke the tension.
"Gotta say, kiddo, you're a hell of a driver! Ever thought of racin'?" he asked as they rode along. He also was studying the songs on the tape, especially the Imelda May song. He had a thing for Imelda May.
((Imelda May is an Irish Rock N' Roll singer. She's REALLY good!))
"Learn how to drive pretty fast when you got people chasing after you for the longest time... That and I kinda needed to know how so that I could take the Bat mobile out with Robin."
There was that, and a few other reasons she'd learned to drive so well. Kai kept her eyes on the road now driving like any normal law abiding citizen would. Although a truck with an unconscious man and, two conscious Cajuns carrying what could be illegal guns, and a bird in full costume.
((wow, you just guessed a plot twist I had in mind for them: Getting busted for lack of permits.))
C.J. smirked. "If he's anything like in the movies back home, probably good to keep pace with that boy." he said as Arell laughed. "Batman and Robin" was one of the few movies all three guys went to the drive-in down in Baton Rouge to see the movie together. Of course, it was also then that they discovered Dundee got carsick during reckless driving, especially when people found out a certain two boys had made some moonshine whiskey the night before and they had to make a fast getaway before the next picture.
"Movies?"
Kai was rather confused by what C.J. had just mentioned. What movies? There are like, batman movies or Robin movies...
Arell looked at C.J., then back at Red Cardinal. "Oh yeah . . . we saw a few of de Batman movies back home . . . 'course, dere ain't a Gotham in our universe . . . 'cept for de comics, che'." he said with a smirk as Dundee looked at the three.
Well, it's nice to see they're getting along at least . . . shoulda known SOMEONE would bring up the fact that we're from a different world! Dundee thought.
"What!"
Out of reaction to what he had said she shot a look at him before looking back at the road. She almost seemed suddenly curious if these comics have emerged into this world. Thoughts raced in her mind as to what would happen if a criminal got a hold of one of those comic books or the movies. "And, do these comics give away personal information about Batman and Robin? Like, I can't even picture..."
C.J. shrugged. "It sounds crazy, don't it?" he said with a smile as they drove. "Some do, but that was before the universes collided." he said. Sure this was life changing for Kai, but in truth . . . this was just usual for him. Then again, he was often in the middle of a "who is better? Batman or Ironman?" debate between some friends of his . . . of course, he picked neither (much more of a Deadpool or Jonah Hex fan).
Arell smirked a little bit. "Kinda cool dat we're 'sentially IN a comic or movie now, che'." the big Cajun said. Once they got back he'd have to use the bat-computer to check Crystal's whereabouts.
